Chapter 135 Welcome Home Again
Quinn's POV
I tried to take in as much air as possible after reaching climax with Grayson.
My head felt dizzy, like I was flying in the high sky with little oxygen.
I really enjoyed this moment. Even though it hurt, eventually that feeling disappeared and was replaced with a heart full of joy.
Grayson managed to turn my pain into happiness until my stomach felt like butterflies were fluttering around. He also managed to convince me that everything would be okay. He really did it very slowly and gently.
Even after we finished, he didn't rush to pull out his penis, but waited for me to be ready.
When I nodded and grabbed his back, only then did he pull out slowly.

Grayson covered my eyes with a black cloth. He said we were still in the car, just arriving at the building's basement.
"You can't open your eyes or remove this blindfold. I'll be the one to remove it. Understand?"
I nodded obediently.
He chuckled. "Okay, good. It's rare that you obey right away."
I pursed my lips. "What's going on? You're not planning to get rid of me because I'm too chatty, are you?"
"Of course not. Even though you are chatty, how could I get rid of you? You're the only one in the world. Where would I find another you if you were gone?"
I swung my hand in the air, about to hit his arm, but stopped because I didn't know where it was. I was also afraid of hitting a vital part.
"Phew, I survived the deadly blow."
I put my hands on my hips. "Watch out when I'm free."
"Then I'll hide first."
I smiled crookedly. "Let's see."
"Okay, okay, you're so scary when you smile like that. Now, I'll go out and guide you, okay? Don't peek, promise?"
"Pinky promise."
Then I heard the sound of the car door opening and footsteps approaching me.
"Be careful. Keep your head down."
I did what Grayson said. I walked very slowly because I was afraid of bumping into something. Well, even though it was impossible for him to deliberately bump me into something, it still felt strange to walk with my eyes closed like this.
"Don't worry, I'll make sure the path you walk on is clear."
"You better do, or I'll lecture you until you're blue in the face."
Grayson chuckled. "My life has never been quiet since you came along. I like that."
"You mean it's never quiet because I'm talkative, is it?"
"If that's true, it's okay."
"Grayson!"
Suddenly, I felt his lips land on mine. "What, Quinny? Can you be quiet please? Unless you want others to hear us and think we're doing something weird."
I shut my mouth immediately. Grayson was right. If other people saw us in this position, I think they would wonder too.
"Well, smart girl. We're almost there. Just a little more."
I couldn't wait to get back at him. Later, when he took off the black blindfold, I didn't care if Dylan saw or not, I was going to get him back.
"Okay, now walk slowly. We're getting out of the elevator."
I tightened my grip on his arm. I didn't care if it left a red mark or a bruise, the important thing was that he couldn't suddenly run away.
"Okay, be careful, we're passing something big. Please duck your head."
"What is it that I have to duck for?"

My head hit something light and bounced.
"What was that!" I shouted, panicked.
Then I heard people stifling their laughter.

Right after that question, Grayson removed the blindfold from my eyes.
I blinked, dazzled. And when I could see normally, I saw Dylan, Mr. & Mrs. Talon, and Grayson holding balloons that read "Welcome Home Again" in front of me.
"Welcome back home, Quinn!"
Then they all blew small trumpets together.
I... this... I was touched. All of this, this surprise, made me feel valued.
For the first time, I felt this much appreciated and loved.
I felt my eyes mist over with tears ready to fall.
"Welcome back with us, Quinny. We love you," said Grayson. He then ran towards me.
The moment he hugged me, my tears fell freely.
I hugged him back tightly.
"I hope those are tears of happiness. And I hope that from now on, there will be no more tears of sadness. I love you, my other half."
