Chapter 130 Quinnterstellar

Chapter 130 Quinnterstellar
Quinn's POV

I looked up at Grayson. I couldn't wait to hear his explanation.

"Quinny, we call someone like you a hybrid. Because you have both human and werewolf blood in your body."

"Just like Stella explained."

"Stella, your wolf, that's right. I also had a dream that was almost the same as yours. But you weren't there, I only saw Stella. And Ace got to know her."

"So you knew I was a hybrid from the first time you saw me?"

Grayson shook his head. "Not until after that dream. When I first saw you, I saw you as a normal human. But I could feel the mate bond between us. Well, even though I did sometimes notice your scent and vibe were a little different from humans, I never thought it would lead to that. I thought you were just a special human. Maybe it’s also because your wolf hasn’t awakened yet, so Ace couldn’t detect it either.”

I nodded as I listened to Grayson’s explanation. That made sense. Before today, I really didn't feel like there was anything special about me, especially about abilities or powers.

"Tell me how you feel now."

I sighed softly. "I feel mixed up. I'm happy to have new abilities, but... I'm also worried that I'm not the same person I used to be, and it will make Dylan stay away from me."

"Hey, why would he distance himself from you? You're still the same, Quinny. You're still the Quinn we know."

"But Dylan must feel the difference. I mean, we've known each other as ordinary humans since birth. We're used to that."

"Then it just takes time for Dylan to get used to it."

I took Grayson's hands and rubbed them. "Stella said Dylan could be like me. But it would take something to push him to his limits. That way he could become like me."

"Stella said that?"

"Yes. I still remember it. But I don't know how to do it. You know, with Dylan's current condition, I think it's more important for him to heal than to get his wolf or make him realize he's not fully human."

Grayson gently stroked my hair. His other hand patted my back very softly, like putting a baby to sleep. "Let's think about it one step at a time. Start with your recovery first. Because once you're fully recovered, you can go back to taking care of Dylan."

"I feel completely healthy."

"Your stitches aren't healed yet. This morning when the nurse checked them, she said so."

I furrowed my brow. The thing was, I didn't feel any pain at all. "I think I am."

I touched my waist, where Grayson's hand quickly pulled my hand away.

"Hey, don't touch it yet."

I patted Grayson's hand and touched my waist again. Then I quickly opened the bandage covering the surgical stitches. "Look. It's completely back to normal."

Grayson's eyes widened and he sat down. "That's impossible."

I then turned away from Grayson so he could see my body. "Open my shirt and see for yourself if you don't believe me."

I felt Grayson's hand touch mine. "Oh shit! I mean, how is that possible? Are you...?"

I smiled slightly and turned back to face Grayson. "Healing. That's what Stella said."

Grayson's mouth opened slightly, and I took the opportunity to kiss his lips briefly. "Is that really rare?"

"You're the first person I've met besides someone from my family."

"Someone from your family has it too? Who? Can I know?"

Grayson nodded and laid me back down. "My aunt. And I think I need to introduce you to her."

"For what reason?"

"So you can ask her how to control your power. At least you can get advice and avoid any restrictions that may be necessary."

"That's a good plan. But will she accept me or even see me? I mean, I'm not like you guys."

"Actually, not everyone in my extended family is like my mom and dad, who refuse to accept humans as part of our family. Some have married humans, even though it's not public knowledge. And that's the child of my aunt I mentioned earlier. So I think she’ll be able to accept you just as she accepted her son-in-law.”

Hearing that, my heart felt relieved. I guess there was some truth to clarifying things directly from the source. Sometimes not all news can be trusted. Like this one, for example, which said that the Grayson family doesn’t accept humans into their family to keep their lineage pure.

I don't wanna get too excited, but I feel confident that I have a better chance of being accepted after this change.

"I don't know what you're thinking, but I'm happy to see you smile."

I immediately hid my face in Grayson's chest. "Sometimes it's good to look at the positive side of everything that happens."

Grayson kissed my forehead for a long time. He also sniffed his nose. "I really appreciate your help in saving my dad. Thank you so much. Honestly, even though I hated him, after my mom’s explanation, I felt sorry for him."

"I can feel that your love for your father still remains. That's what made me even more convinced to be his donor."

"And I really appreciate that decision. Thank you so much, Quinny. Because of you, my mom and I didn't lose him. Because of you, our family relationship has also improved. The misunderstanding has been resolved and we can talk without feeling awkward anymore."

Grayson kissed the top of my head repeatedly. "But that doesn't mean you can do something like this again. Understand?"

I nodded quickly.

"Just don't do anything that will hurt you for the sake of others again. This is the last time. I won’t stand idly by if you take such a big risk again.”

I pinched Grayson’s nose playfully. “Are you feeling sorry for me? Ugh, don’t feel sorry for me. I know what I’m doing, Gray Bear. So don’t worry anymore. Okay?”

“Promise me first.”

I raised my pinky finger and linked it with Grayson’s. “Pinky promise.”

“Let’s live happily ever after. Let’s not worry too much anymore. Let’s live more fully.”

I chuckled. “You’re so wise today. Why?”

“Because my Quinnterstellar is back.”

“Quinnterstellar? Is that a new nickname for me?”

“Do you like it?”

“I like it. It’s cute.”

Grayson chuckled. “Quinny, Quinnterstellar, my Quinn. Besides that, what other nicknames should I give you?”

“That’s plenty.”

Grayson shook his head. “Something’s missing. Maybe I should add… my wife?”
