Laura Enters the Palace

“Laura, are you okay?” Stevan looked at Laura's body carefully, afraid that there were wounds on the woman's body.

Laura was silent, focused on staring at Stevan's face. She still couldn't believe what she had seen earlier. Stevan's figure looked so violent when he attacked the mysterious creature. There was no way an ordinary human could be that strong, even his steps were so fast earlier.

After making sure Laura was okay, Stevan looked back at the horde of vampires attacking a werewolf. The competition was quite disproportionate. The werewolf was lying on the ground due to repeated attacks from the vampire horde. One of the vampires walked over to Stevan and Laura. Stevan immediately hugged Laura's body, protecting the woman from an unexpected attack.

"Look after yourself. Don't ever go out alone again," said the vampire, looking at Laura. After saying a sentence that was enough to make Stevan and Laura confused, the vampire immediately left with the other two vampires. They also brought the werewolf, who was helpless.

"Who are they? Why are their faces so pale, and there are fangs in their teeth?” Laura's hands squeezed Stevan's jacket tightly. She was still shocked by what happened to her a few minutes ago.

Stevan hugged Laura's body even more tightly. “From now on, you have to tell me wherever you go. Don't worry, I will protect you.” Stevan kissed the top of Laura's head for a long time. His mind was still confused. His curiosity was so high. He felt something was wrong. It's unusual for vampires to want to get into trouble with werewolves just to help a human like Laura. “Are they targeting the holy blood in Laura's body?” thought Stevan.

Laura let go of Stevan's hug. "I want to go home." She walked first.

Stevan immediately followed and walked beside the woman. "What did you talk about with the queen earlier?"

"I'm too lazy to talk," said Laura, looking straight ahead. She quickened her pace even more.

Stevan felt there was something strange about Laura's attitude. Suddenly, his hand grabbed the woman's hand, causing Laura's body to crash into his. "What are you doing?" Laura asked, trying to let go of Stevan's hand, which was on her waist. However, her strength was no match for Stevan's. She finally gave in and looked at Stevan's face.

“Why are you avoiding me?” Stevan pressed Laura's body closer to his. He didn't want any gaps between the two of them.

“I'm afraid to be around you,” Laura answered without hesitation. She was still looking into Stevan's eyes, looking for the answer she wanted.

Stevan brought his face closer. “What are you afraid of?" Laura's breath touched the skin of his face.

"I'm afraid you've hurt me." Laura immediately turned her face to the side as Stevan's face got closer.

"Is that possible?" whispered Stevan in Laura's ear. His hands pressed Laura's body closer to his body. His face leaned closer to Laura's neck, and he kissed her gently, making Laura close her eyes as her hand squeezed Stevan's arm tightly.

“You looked so different when you attacked the mysterious creature earlier. You don't seem like an ordinary human being," Laura said in a low voice, trying to keep her moans from coming out as a result of Stevan's kiss on her neck.

Stevan immediately stopped his activities, which had made him addicted, when he heard Laura's words. He turned his head so he could see Laura's face clearly. "What were you thinking at that time?"

Before Laura had time to answer, Gabrio came. "Prince …." Gabrio didn't dare continue his words when he saw Stevan and Laura's closeness.

"Continue," said Stevan, looking at Gabrio.

"We must immediately return to the palace," said Gabrio.

Stevan let go of his arms around Laura's body. "For the time being, you stay at my house."

“Sorry, Prince. But the king also told Laura to come to the palace with us," continued Gabrio.

Now Laura, Stevan, and Gabrio are at the palace. The three of them were greeted by the palace servants. Laura was amazed to see the luxurious atmosphere in the palace and the many antiques there. This was the first time she had entered the palace, a great honor for her.

Stevan smiled faintly when he noticed Laura's cute attitude. “Watch your way. Don't hit anything here. You will be overwhelmed if that happens.”

"Very arrogant," grumbled Laura, pursing her lips.

Stevan suddenly stopped in his tracks, causing Laura to bump into his back. He then looked back and brought his face closer to Laura. "I'm not arrogant. I'm just talking facts. If you damage any of the items here, you will be sentenced to serve me for the rest of your life." After that, he looked forward again and continued walking.

Laura still didn't move where she was. “What the hell is he doing? Good grief! I'm going to go crazy dealing with him," Laura muttered, annoyed at Stevan.

Currently, the three of them are in the king's private room. “Good night, Laura. Sorry, I disturbed your time.” King Rico smiled at Laura.

“Good night, King. It is a great honor for me to be given the opportunity to meet the king.” Laura lowered her face. She was still not used to the customs of behavior in the royal palace.

Queen Yoana approached Laura. "If I knew you also wanted to go to the palace, we would have gone to the palace together. Isn't that right, Laura?” Laura smiled in response.

“Laura, from now on, you are given the freedom to enter the palace. I have also prepared a special place for you," said King Rico.

"Yes, I already know. The werewolf nation was furious when I chose a candidate for crown princess who was not part of them. Therefore, I have prepared a place in this palace for Laura." King Rico let out a long breath. The burden he bears is very heavy this time.

“Oh, it's no wonder they attacked Laura earlier. Does the king also know that the vampires are involved?" said Stevan, looking at the king.

"What do you mean?" King Rico frowned because he didn't know about the vampire nation.

"Earlier, when I saved Laura, there were three vampires who helped attack the werewolf. They even brought the werewolf, who looked like he was dying.
