Chapter 170: Giving You Three Days to Prepare

Gabe's son had dark skin and a slight physical deformity, with lips that still stuck out even after surgery.

A kid like that would have a tough time finding a girlfriend if it weren't for his family's status.

Most girls wouldn't be interested, and Isabella definitely wasn't. She never expected this classmate to bring his elders over to propose marriage directly.

Of course, she wasn't having it!

Gabe's words put a ton of pressure on Owen. In the past, he wouldn't have been able to stand up to someone like Gabe.

Even if it meant upsetting Isabella, he would have had to give in.

Owen said, "Mr. Palmer, to be honest, when GhostHealer came to the Watson Mansion to treat someone, he took a liking to Isabella. He said she should marry his only disciple in the world!"

"You know, GhostHealer has done a huge favor for the Watson family, and we can't refuse him!"

Using GhostHealer's name was necessary. Owen wasn't worried about angering GhostHealer, knowing his daughter had some feelings for Jeremy.

Gabe frowned and said, "GhostHealer? That coward hiding in the mountains? His student isn't good enough to compete with my son!"

"If this is causing you trouble, don't worry. I'll just cripple GhostHealer's student."

He said "cripple," not "kill."

Though impulsive and dismissive of GhostHealer, he didn't dare to actually kill Jeremy.

Gabe didn't believe many of the rumors about GhostHealer, but he did believe in his strength.

He knew GhostHealer had enemies waiting for him to show up. Even if he crippled Jeremy, would GhostHealer really dare to seek revenge for his student?

Owen was stunned. He didn't know Gabe well, but he was well aware of the power of a Grandmaster, a top-ranked fighter.

Gabe continued, "Mr. Watson, if our families unite, I can live at the Watson Mansion. With me there, any problem the Watson family faces can be solved!"

His words sounded nice, like he wanted to help the Watson family.

But his ambitions were clear. He wanted more than just his son marrying Owen's daughter; he wanted the entire Watson family.

Despite their strength and reputation, many top fighters lacked family backgrounds and lived tough lives.

With their power, they had admirers but also supervisors, preventing them from taking what they wanted. They couldn't make money through business and relied on wealthy families for support.

Even then, they weren't part of those families. They had to work in return for support.

Gabe was ranked eighth on the TigerRankings, well-known and previously supported by a wealthy family. But living under someone else's roof was never honorable.

Honestly, if Gabe's son wasn't so unattractive, many families would have been willing to marry their daughters to him.

But his son wasn't just unattractive; he was a failure. Despite Gabe's status, his son wasn't even a Martial Artist.

He hadn't inherited any of Gabe's strengths, only his bad habits.

Not just Isabella, even an ordinary girl would be repulsed by his disgraceful actions, no matter how good his father was.

Owen said regretfully, "Mr. Palmer, you might not know, but a few days ago, the Watson family already pledged to GhostHealer. Now, everything about the Watson family is beyond my control."

He had to bring up GhostHealer again, hoping Gabe would be wary of him.

But this only enraged Gabe further!

"Owen!"

"Do you think you can refuse me repeatedly because I'm easy to push around?"

"Let me tell you, I don't care who your daughter likes or if she has a marriage agreement. None of that matters."

"She must marry my son. Only then will your entire Watson family survive!"

"Don't think that just because GhostHealer cured you, you're safe. I can destroy the Watson family with ease!"

His energy surged, and Stan quickly stepped forward. But under Gabe's energy, Stan spat blood and crashed into a table, breaking it.

Owen turned pale and spat blood.

"I'll give the Watson family three days. After that, I'll bring my son to marry your daughter. If you still refuse, I'll show you the consequences of offending me. The Watson family can't afford it."

With that, Gabe left with his son.

Stan was severely injured, and Owen was on the brink of death!

When Jeremy got the news and rushed to the Watson Mansion, he found Stan gravely injured and Owen near death.

A Supreme Grandmaster's Martial Artist could shatter a massive boulder with a single strike.

Stan couldn't withstand Gabe's energy. If not for being a Half-step Grandmaster and Gabe holding back, Stan would be dead.

Gabe's energy nearly killed Owen!

If Jeremy hadn't arrived in time, Owen would have died.

Seeing Owen and Stan so injured, and Isabella with tear-stained eyes, Jeremy was filled with rage.

Gabe!

Damn it!

After hearing what happened, Jeremy's face turned grim.

He treated Owen first, then Stan, who was also badly hurt. As a Martial Artist, Stan would survive, but Owen was critically injured by Inner Energy, nearly dying.

Anyone else would have struggled to save Owen. Even Jeremy could only stabilize him for now.

Meanwhile, at a hotel in Sunrise, Gabe and his son weren't alone.

Gabe was talking to a young man.

The young man, handsome and smiling, asked, "How did the Watson family react?"

Gabe chuckled, "I gave them three days to prepare. If they can contact GhostHealer, that should be enough time."

The young man said, "What if the Watson family doesn't plan to contact GhostHealer?"

"Gabe, you're a top fighter on the TigerRankings. Even if GhostHealer is an Innate Realm Martial Artist, you can still fight him!"

"But GhostHealer was severely injured thirty years ago. How could he still be alive? Even if he is, he can't have recovered to his former strength."

The young man knew a lot about GhostHealer, including his severe injury thirty years ago, indicating his significant status.

Gabe said, "I shattered Owen's blood vessels with Inner Energy. Even GhostHealer might not save him."

The young man glanced at Gabe and said, "Gabe, after this, the Watson family in Sunrise will be yours."

Gabe laughed heartily, "Mr. Harvey, rest assured. I'll take good care of the Watson family and make them serve you."
