Chapter 167 Identity Exposed

Jeremy didn't want to make things tough for these two guys; he got the Inspectorate's responsibilities.

Someone as powerful as him would definitely be on their radar to prevent any chaos.

The Inspectorate's job was to handle stuff like this. Martial Artists using their strength to mess with order was a big no-no.

Unless you were strong enough to challenge a major nation, even someone as formidable as he was when he was StormDragon, at the top of the world, still drew suspicion from some in the government.

Looking back, the battle in Sunlands was probably the result of high-level power struggles, with the real goal being to take him out.

Back then, he was in the Late Celestial Realm, almost at Half-step Sage Realm strength!

It's worth noting that while Avalonia had Celestial Realm Martial Artists, they were super rare, and a Late Celestial Realm StormDragon was unbeatable among them.

But even so, he still died on the Sunlands battlefield. The opposition brought in top-tier forces from eight nations, including some hidden Celestial Realm Martial Artists from Avalonia.

Jeremy wasn't dumb enough to piss off the Inspectorate; he didn't want to catch the eye of their higher-ups.

Facing someone like Ralph, a Grandmaster, was doable. If he acted recklessly, it would definitely draw out the Inspectorate's big guns. He couldn't fully tap into his Innate Realm power yet, so provoking those big guns would be asking for trouble.

Jeremy said, "Relax, I'm only here because Jeremy kept asking me to treat the Watson family."

"Once this is sorted, I'll head back to my mountain."

"I'm used to mountain life now. Just look after my student in the future!"

GhostHealer had been dead for a while, and Jeremy was just pretending to be GhostHealer to keep up appearances.

If GhostHealer stuck around too long, what would Jeremy do?

So, soon GhostHealer would vanish again, and Jeremy would continue to stay in Sunrise under his current identity.

Ralph and Travis exchanged a look, getting the picture.

Ralph said, "Don't worry, we've met Jeremy. He's a good guy, and we'll take good care of him. We won't let anyone mess with him!"

Jeremy chuckled coldly, "You better. My student is my only heir, and he's picked up a lot of my skills. I sent him to the city to toughen him up."

"If anything happens to him, don't blame me for showing up and causing a massacre. Don't say I didn't warn you!"

A warning was necessary. If it came to that, GhostHealer could reappear anytime. It would just mean Jeremy laying low for a while and GhostHealer popping up again.

The Inspectorate reported directly to Avalonia's top brass. As long as those higher-ups weren't idiots, they wouldn't target Jeremy.

Ralph got it and smiled, "Mr. GhostHealer, I can't speak for everyone, but as long as Jeremy doesn't break any major rules, the Inspectorate will back him up all the way."

"Anyone who dares to mess with Jeremy will have to deal with the Inspectorate!"

Jeremy knew it was time to offer some benefits after issuing the warning.

Jeremy said, "Alright, if the Inspectorate ever needs my help in the future, just let Jeremy know. He'll get in touch with me, and I'll come out to assist."

Ralph had been waiting for this and smiled, "Thank you!"

Jeremy waved his hand impatiently, "Now get out of here. Don't bother me while I'm saving lives!"

This fit GhostHealer's eccentric personality perfectly. Ralph and Travis quickly bowed and left.

Once they were gone, Jeremy turned to the Watson family members, "The child hasn't had an episode yet. After taking my pill, the illness won't come back."

"Those who have had episodes need my treatment, and it won't happen again. Prepare a quiet room, and I'll treat them one by one."

Soon, Jeremy was led to a quiet room, and the first person to enter was Isabella.

Isabella scrutinized Jeremy, disguised as GhostHealer, with a look of suspicion.

"What do I need to do?"

Jeremy cleared his throat, feeling a bit awkward. The Watson family's hereditary disease affected the liver, and the best treatment was using Natural Energy.

But treatment inevitably required contact. He hadn't expected Isabella to be the first for treatment. She seemed to be the only woman in the Watson family still alive with the disease.

The disease wasn't as severe in the men of the Watson family, but in women, it was usually fatal due to their different body structures.

Jeremy glanced at Isabella and said, "You need to take off your outer clothes."

Asking a woman to undress was inherently difficult.

Especially since Jeremy was currently disguised as an old man, with white hair and a white beard. Asking a woman to undress didn't just seem inappropriate; it felt inappropriate to him too.

Isabella approached, sat beside Jeremy, and slowly removed her outer clothes, leaving only her undergarments.

Though she was thin, her figure was still perfect. While she didn't have the same chest as Claire or Ophelia, it was still impressive.

Jeremy took a deep breath and knelt down. Inevitably, this position allowed him to see things he shouldn't.

From this angle, Isabella's face resembled that of an old acquaintance even more. This was their first time being so close, close enough to hear each other's breathing.

This was the distance between a doctor and a patient!

But who would have thought that at this moment, Isabella would do something that left Jeremy at a loss.

She suddenly reached out and grabbed Jeremy's white beard!

The action was so sudden that Jeremy didn't react!

Of course, Isabella couldn't hurt him. Pulling a beard was something children liked to do.

Isabella wasn't that young anymore!

Jeremy felt incredibly awkward, but Isabella's next words surprised him.

"It's a real beard. How did you do it?"

Her expression was one of genuine surprise.

Jeremy cleared his throat, "You..."

Before he could finish, Isabella giggled, "Jeremy, you can fool others, but not me. I said I felt familiar with you. You're Jeremy, not GhostHealer, right?"

Jeremy looked at Isabella, wanting to deny it and claim he was GhostHealer.

But in Isabella's eyes, he saw sincerity and honesty.

She could really tell he was Jeremy. Could fate be this strange?

His GhostHealer identity was exposed too quickly!

Isabella didn't actually see through him but deduced it from Jeremy's disappearance and GhostHealer's appearance, combined with her intuition. She was certain the GhostHealer before her was Jeremy.
