Chapter 206 Finally
Chapter 206 Finally
Bella’s POV
A week.
That’s all it took.
Seven days after bringing two lives into this world, I’m standing here in white, staring at a reflection that still doesn’t feel entirely real and yet somehow fits better than anything ever has.
“Stop overthinking it,” Jasmine says from behind me, adjusting a piece of my hair with careful fingers. “You look insane. In a good way.”
“I always look insane,” I reply dryly, smoothing my hands down the front of the dress.
“Not like this,” Sara adds, leaning against the doorframe, her own gown flowing around her like something out of a painting. “This is different.”
She’s right. Everything about today feels different. Not just because it’s a wedding.
Because it’s ours.
Three of them, actually.
Only we would turn something like this into a triple ceremony. It started as a joke, something tossed around between chaos and late-night conversations, but like everything else in our lives, it became real before anyone could second-guess it.
Renzo and Sara.
Gino and Jasmine.
And me and Draco.
Three couples. One day. No room for anything but exactly what matters.
“You ready?” Jasmine asks, stepping back to look at me fully.
I meet her gaze through the mirror. For a second, everything quiets. The noise, the nerves, the weight of everything that’s happened leading up to this moment.
“Yeah,” I say softly. “I am.” And I mean it.
The ceremony is set outside. Of course it is. Draco wouldn’t have it any other way.
The Italian countryside stretches out in every direction, endless greens and golds blending into the horizon under a sky so clear it almost feels intentional. The air is warm without being heavy, carrying the faint scent of flowers and something softer underneath.
It’s beautiful.
Not in an overdone, extravagant way. In a way that feels right.
Chairs are arranged in careful rows, filled with people who matter and no one who doesn’t. No unnecessary faces. No obligations. Just family, the kind we were born into and the kind we built ourselves.
I catch glimpses as we step into place.
Nico, already grinning like he’s about to make a scene.
Giovanni, composed but watching everything like he always does.
Renzo, standing at the front, looking far too calm for a man about to get married.
Gino, beside him, adjusting his cuff like he’s more concerned about his suit than the moment itself.
And then theirs Draco.
He’s standing at the center.
Waiting.
His gaze finds mine immediately, like it was always going to, like there was never any other place for it to land.
Everything else fades a little after that.
“You’re staring,” Sara whispers under her breath as we move forward.
“Shut up,” I murmur back, but there’s no bite to it.
Because I am. And I don’t care.
The ceremony doesn’t drag.
There’s no long, drawn-out speeches or unnecessary pauses. It moves the way everything in our lives does. It’s intentional, direct, without wasting time.
But that doesn’t make it less meaningful. If anything, it makes it more.
Renzo and Sara go first. He doesn’t say much, he never does, but the way he looks at her says everything he doesn’t bother putting into words. Sara, for once, doesn’t have a comeback ready. Her voice softens, her usual sharp edges smoothing just enough to let something deeper come through.
Gino and Jasmine follow. Their vows come with a little more bite, a little more humor. Jasmine calls him out twice before she even finishes her first sentence, and Gino doesn’t even try to deny it. The quiet way he watches her balances it out, grounding the sarcasm in something steady.
Then it’s us.
I step forward, the world narrowing again, not in chaos this time but in focus.
Draco doesn’t look away.
Not once.
“Bella,” he says, my name low, steady, like it belongs exactly where it is.
No grand speech.
No rehearsed lines.
Just truth.
“I don’t do promises I can’t keep,” he continues. “So I’m not going to stand here and say something just to sound good.”
A faint murmur moves through the crowd, but I barely register it.
“I’ll give you what matters,” he says instead. “You’ll never stand alone. You’ll never be unprotected. And no one touches what’s mine.”
I raise a brow slightly. “There it is,” I mutter.
A faint smirk touches his mouth. “But more than that,” he adds, quieter now, just for me, “you’ll always be chosen. Every time. No matter what.”
That lands. Harder than anything else could have.
When it’s my turn, I don’t overthink it. “I don’t need perfect,” I say, meeting his gaze without hesitation. “I never did.”
His expression shifts slightly, something deeper settling there.
“But I do need real,” I continue. “And you’ve never been anything else with me. Even when it wasn’t easy. Even when it probably would’ve been smarter to be.”
A small ripple of quiet laughter moves through the crowd.
“You don’t make things soft,” I add. “You make them solid. And that’s what I’m choosing.”
I pause just a second. Then finish it.
“Every time.”
The rest happens in a blur that somehow still feels clear.
Rings exchanged. Words spoken.
Three couples bound in one moment that doesn’t feel shared but multiplied.
Applause rises, warm and genuine, wrapping around us as everything settles into place.
But the part that stays with me is after.
The reception carries on into the evening, lights strung across the space like stars brought down just for tonight. Music drifts through the air, laughter mixing with it, the kind that comes easy when nothing is forced.
Draven and Raven are nearby, safe, watched over, already surrounded by more protection than most people will ever know.
Draco stands beside me, one arm resting around my waist, his presence steady, grounding, exactly where it always is.
I glance up at him. “You didn’t mess this up,” I say lightly.
He looks down at me, one brow lifting. “Was that a concern?”
“Always,” I reply without hesitation.
A quiet huff of amusement leaves him, his hand tightening just slightly against me.
“Good,” he says. “Keeps things interesting.”
I shake my head, but there’s no real argument there.
Because as I look around at the people, the place, the life we built out of chaos and choice, there’s only one thing that settles in fully.
Not doubt.
Not fear.
Just certainty.
And for once that’s more than enough.
