Darrien's POV
The sound of teeth chattering as I heard "ZEUS" screamed as Catherine started to collapse. I ran to catch her before she hit the ground. I was cradling her head and holding up her body. Kayden came over and helped me lift into my arms. Catherine's body was so cold "Go to her room and the pack doctor will be there soon. Her Dad and Father will be there in a few minutes. Do not screw it up." As he walked passed me.
I walked to her room with everyone in tow with all the baby gifts. Kayden instructed all the guests to collect two gifts and carry them to the beta storeroom. I was able to open the bedroom door and I laid her down. The Doctor was right behind her. Catherine made some groans and whimpers and almost cried when I let her go. Kayden, Derick, and Donald were standing behind him.
"You are the sire?" the doctor asked
"Yes, I am. Her ex-mate maybe mate. it's complicated and we are working on the relationship." I was clearly rambling as if I was explaining who and why I was here.
"Shit. Alpha Kayden Derick, Donald, and Alpha Darrien. Catherine is in a tough spot her temperature is critical. As I told Catherine either she takes the Sire or two male wolves. Her body needs the body heat from a male wolf. For the best result, sex is required but seeing as she is out cold. I would suggest the Sire and another male wolf lay with her. To gain heat to help regain consciousness to give consent. Sex is the only thing to help her solve her temperute and if she doesn't by the time she gives birth death is a real possibility." I felt cold by his words.
"Okay, Darrien and I will lay with her then," Kayden said but the Doctor interrupted him. "No, they can not be related to her." "Okay. Mated or unmated?" Kayden asked concerned. "It does not matter." Just as Frank walks in to check-in.
"Oh, Frank. Can you and Tracy come here?" Kayden asked We watched as his eyes clouded over. Tracy walked in shorty.
"
"Tracy, I know that you want to complete your medical studies. Did you read about hypothermia pregnancy?" she nodded "Okay you know how to solve the issue?" and she shook her head no. "Her body needs the body heat from a male wolf. In this case, due to the twins, we require the sire or two wolves are required. However, due to this situation, the sire and another wolf are required to help her give consent. Do you understand what is being asked of you and Frank?" She shook her head again.
"Tracy, will you be okay if Frank was topless and laid beside Catherine while Darrien lays on the other side? No sexual contact until she is awake and it should be the Sire. If you feel more comfortable to also be in the room." Kayden said.
"Can all four of us be in the bed like a puppy pile? Like Darrien cuddles Catherine who cuddles Frank who cuddles me?" Tracy asked the doctor. " Yes that would be fine you can even make it a movie time too," he responded.
"WHOA. Anyone planning on asking me?" Frank said.
"Frank, She is thinking about being our Luna again. Would you please do this to save her?" I asked to see if I could persuade him.
"Yeah, honey let's pile in." He then nodded. Derick turns on the TV and hands it to Tracy "She loves RomComs" he leaves the room with the doctor, Kayden, and Donald.
Frank took off his shirt and curled up to Catherine and Tracy. "Look honey you're a real ladies' man." Tracy teased. "Shhh. Tee I do not want my Alpha to kill me for trying to save our Luna." Frank hissed. I then took off my shirt and pants and curled into bed with Catherine. I pull the comforter over all of us. I wrapped my arm around her and placed my legs where her feet rubbed up against it.
"Geezze. Darrien She is freezing." Frank said. I nod as we watch the movie. Two movies later Catherine's eyes flicker open.
Catherine's POV
I was sore and stiff when I woke up I was also in a thin nightgown. "What is going on?" I saw Darrien and Frank hang their heads.
"Fine. You wimps I'll tell her. Go get a tea and some power water." Tracy said with an exhausted sigh. Darrien and Frank got dressed and left the room. Why the hell were they undressed? "Relax Catherine, I will explain everything. You remember the doctor told you that you need a male wolf to get your temperature up. You are at a point of no return. You can sleep with Darrien or I could get you two male wolves. Unfortunately, you have no choice if you want to stay on the land of the living." I could see Tracy really didn't want to tell me that if I did not get my temperature control my life was at risk.
"Send Darrien in and can you ensure the apartment is cleared out" I told her after petting her hand to reassure her. After she leaves Darrien arrives shortly.
"Sit, please." Darrien sat on the side of the bed and I could see tears in his eyes. "Why are you tearing up?"
"I was so worried I would lose you. Now I know we are not at the point of our relationship for it to be physical and I am sure you need two wolves instead. I am sorry, I truly regret that I betrayed you, and now you are in this position. I love you and I will be here after you get your temp under control. I will get Zeus busy at the training field." He then burst into tears before he got up to leave.
"Where are you going? I wanted to talk to you."
"Tracy, hinting at the other wolves as your choice. So I do not want to be here when they come. I do not want to see them." Again he tried to leave.
"You walk out that door and I will sleep with those two wolves. But I would rather YOU." I said with anger bubbling to the surface.
