Chapter 67 There is a difference between a King and a monster
"I did this before, and I can do this again," Felix declared furiously. He confirmed that he had killed her parents, and now he is going to kill her as he did to them.
Esperanza clenched her fists and gave him a deadly stare. Orion never wanted this to come out, for the reason she felt scornful.
"You destroyed it." Orion clutched his neck and glared into his eyes.
"She knows it," Felix confronts his reaction.
"She was enduring you, but you are all gone." Orion was glaring into his eyes and wanted to behead him right now.
" Orion, you are troubling our bond." Felix glared back into his eyes, and that was inviting his death.
"Anyone who dares to stand against her is my enemy," Orion said, and Esperanza felt beaming with pride.
" Are you denying everything that we lived? Our pain, our suffering, I was the one who made you feel like home," Felix's eyes were blank when he sensed animosity from him.
" This is the second most hurtful thing that happened to me in life. You are like my son, but you put me in disdain." A tear fell on his cheek from his eye.
" She betrayed you, and you are putting disgust on someone who sustains you in everything you do".Felix let him squeeze his neck and yearn to die with his hands?
" I killed them so she rancor the King, it's all for you," he said, and Esperanza heard everything. She was placing her hand on his back, and by hearing this, she took it off instantly.
Orion foresaw it and gasped to retort it to him.
" But I never said it to you, I never wanted her loved ones to suffer. If I wanted to, then I would do it with my own hands, but that was not my back, that was your own purpose to frame that King, you wanted to pull away his loving thing, as you cannot kill her you tried that move," Orion said, and she knows it ahead of time.
'You killed those innocent humans," Orion let out and Felix jeered at his words.
" I killed those innocent people, and what about that King who killed my five innocent boys on account of her?" he roared, and Esperanza wanted to smack her hand on his cheek, as she did not want to abolish him.
"That was not her fault, you and your men attacked them without knowing that you were attacking the king, attacking a king is like ruining your life, they made a mistake and they paid for it",
"And they were not innocent, they have killed numerous people, Dragons and humans, you need to stop comparing them," Orion went harsh and Orion does not believe that he could say that about his brothers.
" They were your brothers, you are standing against them who are not even in this world," Felix was getting emotional, and Orion was standing on facts.
" I do not deny that they died, and that was ruthless, as the King lost everything, and I did not lose my Esperanza, but everything they both did was wrong,"
"I am not standing against them, but I am not supporting you in something wrong. You cannot hurt her; no one could do that. If someone did, he would pay off." Orion warned him, and he stepped back.
She was drained after hearing all this, they wanted to frame Ezra in her eyes, but Ezra's pure core failed everything.
"Your heart and your mind are under her spell," Felix said and walked away.
He wanted to fight back, but he knew he could not stand against Orion, as he is an ordinary stone dragon.
He turned back and saw her looking down, while her body was denying his touch.
"Esperanza, I know that was wrong, but I never wanted everything this way, " he said and tried to grab her hand, but she snatched it back.
" Do not touch me, you have played with me, how could you?" She asked him and he felt mortified.
"You tried to ensnare Ezra for all you and your partners did," she felt a strong sense of scorn from him; she did not even want to stand near him.
He stepped forward and she stepped back, away from him.
"I was so dazed to trust you; you hid everything from me." Tears started to drip from her eyes.
"There is a difference between a King and a monster," she said and he found his heart was broken again in pieces.
" You have broken my trust, and it will never be built again," she said, and he took a deep breath to endure everything that was going on around him.
"I should not be here; that King has treated me so well, and he never lied to me, and he really never tried to hurt me, as you did," she said and walked away.
