Chapter 30 The ancient library
"There is much more to see, there is much more to endure," he said.
" Have you ever endured anything in your life?" She asked and he chuckled.
"What do you mean?" He smiled heatedly.
"Your face looks like your mother never scolds you for anything", she said, and suddenly his smile faded.
"What happened?" She foresees that she holds his hand and finds grief in his heart.
"My mother died many years ago. I was a little kid, around three years old," He surmised, and she imbibed his pain.
"She never got a chance to scold me. I wanted her to do this, but she could never," he said, and she looked away, because her eyes were filled with white pearls.
" Hey, don't you cry". He cleaned her eyes, and she gasped.
" I heard her voice....," today, she whimpered.
"Who?" Ezra did not understand.
" My real mother, she was her, she could communicate with me," she let out while whimpering.
"She told me to be strong," She said and burst into tears.
" They are alive, somewhere in the Arctic flaming descend, they are alive," Esperanza said, and bumped into Ezra's chest.
He hugged her back and caressed her back
"Do not worry, I am standing with you, can you tell me where it started from?" He asked.
"Six months ago I started revealing all this,", she said.
"It started from healing," she said and he nodded.
"I know, you are a healer," Ezra said.
" One day, I got injured while doing chores, and I was brutally injured. Then I placed my hand over that wound, and the golden light burst out; my wound healed," She said.
"And now I am facing many other pressures inside me, many new things that are taking place in myself," she said.
"I wanted to tell my parents but then I thought they would abandon me, so I chose to keep it inside,"
"Did you tell them before they died?" Ezra asked the sensitive question.
"Yes, I did, she let out with a whimper," they accepted me, she tells.
"He told me that I am not his daughter but I was a gift from that golden dragon,"
"He was the only human who went to the Arctic flaming descend," she said.
"Does he really?" His eyes were wide open.
"Yes, there he found me," Esperanza tells him everything, now that it is clear that she is the descendant of the golden dragon.
"And my real mother told me that she bestowed me on the kindest human in this world, who was my father Emerson," she said, and Ezra's jaw dropped.
"Now, this is clear, you are the golden dragon," Ezra said.
"Or if I am not?" She asked.
"No matter what, you are a miracle," he smiled.
They arrived at the castle, and Ezra took her to the library.
She was looking at the most powerful infrastructure of her life, her jaw was dropping on every step she was taking.
They stood in front of a huge door.
" Here we are," Ezra said, and again with trust, she aimed for the best.
The door opened and Ezra extended his hand towards her, and she placed hers in his
"I want you to read my intentions, I am not like what you think," he said, and they walked in.
That was vast and having an essence of royalty, that was the storehouse of knowledge, the place was engulfed in wonder and enchantment,
The shelves were huge and every section was filled with imaginable magic and mystery.
It has everything, from ancient context to tourist, everything was imbued in her.
The library was enriched with the scent of the old realm.
That was the place of endless possibilities. Esperanza's eyes were wide open, and her jaw was dropped.
She entered the library, and everything was starting to breathe.
"Some special items have been buried here."
"You can get anything here," Ezra said with a smile.
"I.... I am sorry," she let out.
"For what?" He asked.
"For that slap," she turned her gaze down.
"I was misguided," she explained.
"I want to ask you something? Can I?" He asked, and she permitted him.
"The death of your parents was the deed of some sort of ferocious dragon. Can you tell me that before dying, you noticed something suspicious?" He asked.
Yes, it was, Esperanza said, and remembered Orion and her father arguing over something.
" But he did not do anything," she let out abruptly.
"Who?" Ezra asked while being curious.
"I.... I do not want to tell you, he did not want me to tell anybody anything," she said, and Ezra nodded.
"It's okay, I will not ask, but I think someone from that barbarian group has done this," he said.
"Someone from your kingdom can do this as well," she said.
" No, my dear, we do not kill this way. If we do anything like that, then we are out of this Kingdom," Ezra cleared her.
" I am also curious and want to know about it," he said, and gave her the key to the ancient books.
"These are my father's favorite books, do not touch them harshly," he said.
"I would not be doing this," she smiled.
"The golden year empire," she could read the cover of the book and the second she opened it her mind got flustered.
"What is it written," she frowned.
"What happened?" He took that book from her and saw into it.
"It's the indigenous language, of ancient people," he said
"So can you read it?" She asked.
"Maybe a little bit," he said and nodded.
That was the sign language, which was impossible to read, but as Ezra grew up as a royal he could pull it.
"What's written here?" She asked while scaring him.
" There is everything that I have told you in easy words," he said and got to the further pages.
"Here we have something," He said and looked at Esperanza.
"What's written in it?" She asked excitedly.
"It's clear that the Arctic flaming descend are located on the end part of this world,"
"Where the sun is shining but the snow has covered everything," he said.
" Father told me the same," she said.
"That's my birth place," her eyes were shining.
"Read more.....," she forced him.
" Oh my goodness Esperanza," he rolled his eyes and started reading again.
"The sun is mostly on that irresistible kingdom and everything has been buried under the thousands of years of snow," He said.
"This is your home," Ezra smiled and brushed off her tears.
"I am so happy for you", Ezra said and she nodded.
But we need to find it, but what are we going to do after finding it? Ezra asked.
"My mother is alive, they are calling me there, there is something I have to accomplish," Esperanza set that goal in her heart
"We should read more," Esperanza said.
"But pick up something that you can read," He said with a smile. She rolled her eyes, and he was getting euphoric from teasing her.
With him, she tends to forget all the miseries she has gone through the whole day.
Orion and Felix were sitting together staring at each other's faces.
"What do you want to say?" Felix asked.
" How to get to the Arctic flaming descend," he let out and he burst into laughter.
But the evil was still alive in his eyes.
" I do not want to sit with you, but asking you, I need your help," Orion said.
"You have become demented in her love, in human love," he smirks.
"Did anyone here fall in love ever?" He asked around and they all laughed.
They were sitting in the bar, drinking alcohol.
"Will you help me or not?" He asked and with ferocious let out.
"I do not know where it is," he let out and Orion gasped.
" So you are useless, huh....," he rolled his eyes.
" But I know someone who knows the way." Suddenly, Orion's eyes sparked.
"You are not lying? Tell me," he asked and Felix nodded.
" I know that I will get there and will drain all the powers of that golden dragon," Orion smirked.
"It's not that easy to get, it's another name, the desert of death," Felix started at the peak point.
"Whoever tried to get there never came back," Felix said Orion nodded.
"They were not Orion, I have spent my life training myself, no one can touch a hair on my skin as well," he doubted him.
"You have no idea, that the territory belongs to the golden dragon whom your ancestors tried to kill and drain its powers,"
"When your feet touch that ground, I do not know what will happen, maybe the land will get apart, or the sky will burst," Felix warned him.
" No matter what it takes, I will achieve it; nothing can beat me," Orion responded and left the bar.
"There is something special about that boy, his enthusiasm and passion are on another level," Felix said.
"Leader! he was about to burn the whole kingdom to find that girl, and this is his revenge, everything he always yearned for," Another man said.
"What else could we perceive from the dragon of the psychic demon, the most dangerous breed ever, that breed which the golden dragon was also afraid of,"
" He is born to betray, that's why I keep my extra eyes on him," Felix said.
"She went alive from here," another man said.
"But whoever walked in has to pay a big amount," Felix said and everyone started staring at each other.
"What did she lose?" A man asked, and he let out a smirk and a sniff.
"Her parents, everything," Felix said, and everyone was stunned. They laughed harder, pats Felix's shoulders.
"You would never disappoint us," the crowd said.
"That was the most precious thing and most loving thing she ever had, a happy family," Felix said.
"And do you know whom she gave the credit to?" He let out with a frown.
"That King, who never deserves this Kind of appreciation," They make fun of the kingdom, but they were oblivious that they were calling their death.
"She was so beautiful.....," An old and disgusting man let out, and in another moment, Orion was clutching his neck.
"How dare he,.....?" He growled.
"No one is ever allowed to talk about her. I will kill him," Orion said and broke his neck that he was holding in his hand.
" Too fragile, too old, and having dreams of her," he let out, and the whole crowd was startled and speechless.
Everyone was scared, and their jaw dropped, but Felix was laughing his heart out.
" I told you, I love demented soldiers," He laughed again.
