Chapter 20 Is she a human
" Stop.......," Orion screamed and Felix commanded.
"Everyone stop," he said, and Orion ran like a madman.
"What happened to him.....?" A man asked Felix.
"Maybe his love died," he replied and his mood seemed a little off.
Orion ran to the jungle where the Wyvern crashed, but that place was quite a distance away.
Esperanza opened her eyes. She struggled with moving her body, but she survived and stood up, and saw that Ezra's head was bleeding.
" Ezra......, open...Please open your eyes," she runs to him and places his head in her lap.
"No.... Please no....," she was rubbing his hand but he was unresponsive.
She looked behind and saw that Wyvern was covered with blood.
" Ezra, open your eyes, please.....," her eyes were filled with tears, and she placed her hand on his wound.
"I cannot let this happen....," she said and closed her eyes.
She gasped, and suddenly a golden light came out of her hand, and the wound started healing.
The blood stopped and Esperanza felt some part of her had been weakened.
She looked at Ezra and his eyes started moving.
" Thank goodness....," she gasped, but at the same time, she was feeling fragile.
She stood up and saw that Wyvern was whimpering in pain, and his wounds were also more severe.
"Why am I feeling so weak?" She asked herself, but then she moved towards Wyvern and pulled out those arrows.
Then she placed her hands in the middle of his body and closed her eyes.
"I want you to live.....," she let out, and her hands glowed in the dark again. Ezra opened his eyes and stood, his legs were wobbly, but after gathering strength, he looked behind where the golden light was coming.
He saw Esperanza was enclaved in occult golden light, his eyes sparked, and his jaw dropped.
There was a strange occult relic surrounding her; the leaves and trees were provoking terror and almighty, he tried to move close, but something was grabbing him, not letting him take steps.
He saw the Wyvern and his wounds started to heal.
It started breathing again, all of its scars were vanishing, and all he could hear was her long and profound gasp as if she was losing her life.
The light faded, and Esperanza went lifeless. Ezra moved fast, and before her body touched the ground, he caught her in his arms.
"Esperanza......," he whispered but she did not open her eyes.
" This is unbelievable, what are you.....," suddenly a flinch got into his head, and he pressed it with his hand, and he found a lot of blood on his head.
"You saved me too.....," he looked at her face and she became pale.
"Esperanza, open your eyes, I am here, open your eyes......," he said, but she was not moving an inch.
That Wyvern opened his eyes and got transformed.
"Go call someone for help.......," Ezra commanded, and he ran.
"Open your eyes, Esperanza, are you listening to me......?" He screamed.
"Get your hands off her.....," another voice comes and Ezra finds a muscular man coming out of the woods.
" How dare you?" Orion let out, and Ezra cleared his vision.
" Who are you?" Ezra asked.
" Your death......," Orion replied and took out his sword.
"Don't you dare to come close to her.........," Ezra said as he stood and placed Esperanza behind him.
Ezra was standing in front of that ferocious enemy who was ready to tear him apart.
" Aaaahhhh......" Suddenly a painful scream escaped Esperanza's lips.
" Look what you made her......," Orion runs towards her.
Ezra was standing and saw him touching her face while sitting on his knees.
"Who are you......?" Ezra let out.
"I don't think we should fight, she needs help," Ezra said, and Orion glared at him.
" What did you do to her?" Orion asked.
" I did not do anything to her....," Ezra saw him caressing her hair, he clenched his jaw and fisted both his hands.
" Get your hands off her, he moved forward, but in time," Orion nudged his sword instantly at him. Ezra stopped here because he was bare-handed.
"You came between nor I.....," Orion replied.
"She is with me......," Ezra said.
"And that irritates me a lot. I was waiting for her, and if you do not leave, I will kill you," Orion smirked.
He pulled her into his arms and jumped on the bark of a tree.
"I don't want to play like a coward because it's not going to entertain me," Orion smirked and vanished away with Esperanza.
Ezra stands there alone agitated and cracked up at the same time.
Esperanza has shown him something unbelievable, and also that man has taken her with him while warning and standing straight in front of the King of Drakon world.
Now protection of Esperanza was crucial for him, and he also wanted to know what she had done to save him.
His man came with a force of troops.
"My King.....," they came and stood while bowing at him, and Ezra was standing, shocked, watching in the woods.
" King Ezra what happened to you?" Raymond said he seemed extremely worried and apprehensive.
" He took her with him......," Ezra said while not moving his eyes.
"Who? Where is Esperanza?" Raymond roamed his eyes and didn't find her.
"He took Esperanza with him, I cannot breathe.....," he turned and walked straight.
He was breathing fast and weakly. And Raymond followed him.
" I do not know who he was.....," Ezra said.
"Who dares to do that?" Raymond roared.
"I don't know, but that baseborn needs to die." Ezra's eyes were filled with rage.
"He took her in front of my eyes," Ezra's hands were folded in fists, and he threw them on a wooden tree, causing him to bleed.
"Stop it......," Raymond held his hand and peeked at his head, his hair, and the side of his clothes were drenched in blood.
"What happened to you?" He asked.
" I do not know, but that was a pure miracle," Ezra replied.
"Disperse and find her for me," Ezra commanded, and the troops spread in the forest.
" Let's go to the castle, your father does not know anything," Raymond said.
"Do not tell him anything.....," Ezra said and Raymond nodded.
"He knows her, he was not a human, and he clearly gave me an open challenge," Ezra told Raymond.
"Maybe he is from some barbarian group," Raymond said.
" He must be," Ezra replied.
"But trust me, if I cannot get her, I will burn that whole group," Ezra said, and Raymond nodded.
"You do not need to before you, I will do it," Raymond said and they left the place.
Orion takes her to a room old but organized.
"Are you out of your mind, Orion? Who have you brought in?" Felix's eyes were filled with rage.
" She is the one, and she is hurt because of you?" Orion glared at him and Felix gulped his anger.
" Try to understand, Orion. Now we are in danger. If someone comes here to find her, then we are dead.....," Felix said.
" I do not care, she is back near me, that's all," Orion said.
"Let me see where she got injured." Orion looked all over her body but could not find a single stain of blood.
" She is not injured....," Orion was perplexed.
" Why is she not opening her eyes then,x He gazes at Felix
" Maybe her head is injured.....," Felix said.
"No...... She is all fine....," Orion said and they both were curious.
"Is she a human .....," Felix crowed.
Orion kept silent and Felix got this.
" Are you out of your mind? You are putting everyone in danger just for one human," Felix roared.
"So what do you want? I cannot leave her for that futile King," Orion glared into his eyes.
"Orion...... You cannot live with us if you want her to live here," Felix said.
All at once, Esperanza opened her eyes.
" Where am I?" She tried to get up but her body was fragile.
"Esperanza.....," he moved forward and took her into his arms.
" You are awake," he takes a deep breath in satisfaction.
"Orion....., you......," she tried to open her eyes wide but could not make it.
"Where..... did you.... find me....?" She asked with trembling lips.
" This is not important, the thing is what happened to you?" Orion said.
" No..... nothing..... happened....... to me, I..... I just.... Healed them....... Ahhhhhh," Suddenly, a throbbing pain got in her head.
"You healed them? What do you mean?" Felix asked.
"Do you not see? She is so weak......," Orion's heart was struck with pain while seeing the situation.
" Orion we all are dead, you are not understanding it," Felix said but he was truly desperate for her strength.
