Chapter 119 Let loose
Chapter 119 Let loose
Soren’s POV:
The black SUV glided through the night, the city lights blurring into streaks of neon as we made our way toward the center of the city. The air in the back was thick with the scent of expensive cologne and the low hum of conversation, but my mind was focused on one thing: the woman sitting next to me. Seraphina.
She was wearing that crimson dress again, the one that made her look like she’d walked out of a painting, only sexier. The back was bare, the silk clinging to the curve of her spine like a second skin. As she leaned forward to grab her purse, I caught a glimpse of the gold bracelet on her wrist, the two obsidian pins in her hair flashing in the dim light. She looked stunning, and I knew the other two were thinking exactly what I was thinking.
"This is it," Cassain said, his voice low, the scanner on his lap updating. "Savage. The place everyone talks about."
I watched Seraphina from the corner of my eye. She was looking out the window, a thoughtful expression on her face, but I could see the tension in her shoulders, the way her fingers were tapping against her knee. She was ready to let go, just as we were. We all needed this. A break from the hunt, a night where we weren't the ones looking over our shoulders.
The SUV pulled up to a massive, unmarked building with blacked-out windows and a bouncer who looked like he could snap a man's neck without breaking a sweat. We got out, and I felt the change in the air, the shift from the quiet, controlled environment of the villa to the roar of the city.
We moved through the crowd, a wave of intimidation that kept people back. We didn't want trouble, but we also didn't want to be disturbed. We made our way to the VIP section, a roped-off area with plush booths and a low, thumping bass that rattled in my chest. We ordered drinks, the mix of cognac and whiskey burning a path down my throat.
Seraphina stood up, her eyes scanning the room, then locking onto the dance floor. She turned to us, a playful glint in her eyes. "I'm going to go dance," she said, her voice clear and confident. "I want to see you guys watching."
She moved toward the dance floor, her hips swaying with a hypnotic rhythm. I watched her, my heart hammering against my ribs. She looked incredible. The way the red dress clung to her body, the way her hair flowed down her back, the way her confidence radiated off her like a physical force. She was a siren, and I was completely hooked.
Malakai had his phone in hand, but his eyes fixed on her, his jaw tight. Cassain was just staring, his expression unreadable, but his gaze was laser-focused on her. They were both captivated, just like me. I looked at my two brothers, and I knew they were thinking the same thing. She had all of us hard as fuck.
I took a shot, feeling the liquid courage hit me, and then I stood up, walking toward her. She was already moving to the beat, her body a fluid, sexy thing that commanded attention. I slid up behind her, my chest pressing against her back, my arms wrapping around her waist.
She gasped, a soft, surprised sound, and then I ground my hips against her, feeling the heat of her body through the silk of her dress. I didn't just dance; I possessed her. I moved with her, my hands roaming over her hips, pulling her back against me, letting her feel exactly what she was doing to us.
"You look incredible," I whispered in her ear, my voice husky. "I love watching you move like this."
She turned her head slightly, her eyes locking onto mine, and then I leaned down, placing a kiss on her neck, right where the pulse was thumping. I felt her shiver.
I pulled back just enough to look at the other two, my eyes meeting Cassain's and Malakai's. They were both watching us, their faces flushed, their eyes dark and hungry. I knew they were feeling what I was feeling. She had us worked up.
"Look at them," I said, loud enough for Seraphina to hear, my voice a low, possessive growl. "Look at how hard they are for you. Cassain wants to bury his face in your neck, and Malakai is practically drooling."
Seraphina's eyes widened, and she bit her lip, a flush creeping up her neck. She turned back to the dance floor, grinding harder against me, her hips swaying with a newfound intensity. She was feeling it, too. The power she had over us. She was a queen, and she was ruling her court.
I tightened my grip on her, my body pressed tight against hers, the friction sending sparks flying through the air. I moved with her, letting the music wash over us, and for a moment, the shark, the hunt, the fear of losing her… it all faded away. All that existed was the rhythm, the music, the woman in my arms.
