Embrace the light (clairvoyant)-Chapter 35. Irrational Belief

We were finishing our breakfast, this was Walt's day off from the hospital. And it was day four after the ritual when we decide to go to Shani's, I was feeling better while Walt was already antsy to go there. I know he had been calling her back and forth, making sure that she was good, that everything was fine with her and Arkael.

"She's good Walt, I told you about my vision of them already right? don't you believe me?" I asked him as sipped my coffee.

He got up from his seat and hug me from behind, I was taking in his warmth, I feel at peace in his loving embrace.

"I do my love, I believe in you... it's just that she's Shani and I know her rebellious soul underneath all her calm surface. I just need to know that she won't tick him, I still don't know him that well. I know they will have a happy life ahead of them, but what if we should help them along the way? I wish you have a more detailed version in your visions." He sighed as I rest my hand to his chest, trying to calm him down.

"Come on, let's just go to her place now?" I kissed his cheek as I got up and get Milo set up before we leave the little pup in the house.

"Okay, let's get this over with..." he was clearing our dishes, then wait for me at the front door anxiously until I joined him minutes later.

The drive there was filled with the what-if and maybe talk from Walter. He was really worried about Shani, while I was actually calm and collected one. I knew Shani could handle him, I didn't know how but I just knew.

I got off the car without waiting for Walter to open the door for me, somehow his lack of trust in my visions and his lack of confidence in Shani really irritate me. He needs to know that all is well, that everything would be fine. He was supposed to be relieved when Shani told him about the reason of his misfortunes, he should know by now that all his misfortunes ended when he met me.

I close his car door harder than I need too and he noticed my irritation, but he was still too distracted by his own mind. I knock on her front door, only to be open by Shani who was half-dressed and nervously tidying her sex hair making me smirked at Walt, as he catches up to me. Shani gasped as she looked at Walt and me, clearly embarrassed that she open the door too fast. I could see Arkael was looking satisfied with himself as he joined her walking into the living room while still putting on his t-shirt, his chest and abs was quickly covered from my sight.

Damn... Shani is getting lucky!

I quickly hugged her and whispered asking should we get back another time, but she let out a nervous laugh and shook her head no. Walt was tensed beside me, he was clearly not amused that Arkael was getting close to her too quickly.

"Shani, I see that you're getting yourself acquainted quickly with him...."

"Walt baby..." I pulled him back a little as he tries to let himself in, he was looking at me like a was crazy.

"Walter, I do not like how you address my future wife." Arkael's words were calm and threatening.

Shani and I were looking at each other, we could feel the heated manly stares between the men in the room.

"I believe that you should get to know her first before you hit the sack!" Walt was coming closer to him, clearly looking for trouble.

But I got to give points for Arkael as he was staying calm and looking at Shani. "My darling, how would you like me to proceed with this nuisance?" he asked her calmly, making Walter more irritated.

"You should do nothing. I've known Walter for years now, he's just not used to seeing me with a man. Walter, Florence please take a seat while I make some tea for both of you. Arkael, could you help me in the kitchen?"

"But I'm a man, I should sit while a woman waits on me?" he asked her quizzically. But then Shani let out the most beautiful laughter, making Walt looked at me clearly he had never heard her laughing so freely.

"I'll help you..." Walter quickly got up, but then Arkael told him to sit telling him that he will help Shani.

"Walt baby seriously... she seemed happy, can't you hear her laughter?" I tried to convince him once again, this back and forth trying to convince him otherwise seriously messed up my mood.

I was happy going here, I was happy to see Shani finally accepting her fate as she opened the door with her happy face when she greeted me. But then Walt was trying to mess it up, it wasn't him that went back in time seeing Arkael, seeing him undergo the hundreds of years of hell and finally free of the curse and was still trying to repent his sins with Shani and her people.

"Yes, but... she's never been with a man, and his the king of the freaking hell, don't tell me not to worry about her."

"So, that's it? you seriously don't trust my vision? after all that we have been through?"

"You know that's not what I meant!" he was still trying to convince me otherwise.

Freaking know it all! Men!

"It is exactly that Walt! you don't fucking trust me, you know what... maybe you should stay here and wait on her to screw up. I'm done here. Shani, I'm sorry about this, we will talk later... Arkael, you have my permission to do what's necessary with him." I was walking out the door when Walt grabbed my hand. Hard, making me wince.

I was suddenly teary, it was supposed to be nothing, this was nothing, we have gone through much worst, but he has been a very stubborn man. I have been patient plenty of time with him, but after all this time, he should know by now that he questioning my vision was like he didn't trust me in the first place, and that hurt.

I was supposed to have my happily ever after with this man, would my feelings have to be buried deep for us to flourish as a couple?

"Get your hand off of her. She is to be treated nicely, and you're making her cry." Arkael was by my side in no time.

It was not until Arkael interrupted us, that he eventually takes his hand off of me, and realize that he had just bruised me with his grip.

He looked at me, while I felt his true feelings creeping from his touch saying to me in silence that he was sorry. But all I felt was his forgiveness and not his belief in my visions.

And that made me backed away from him, Arkael was shielding me from Walter, Shani was taking me to her embrace.

Arkael was telling Walter to leave me be for a while, and that Shani will call him later.

"Flo baby, please come home with me..." he was asking me one last time, but I was tired that we have to get back to the same issues over and over again. I thought that we were done with it, but clearly not yet.

I shook my head to his direction, while Shani letting me break down in her arms. She took me to another room, while Arkael stayed with Walter until he finally gave up and leave me at Shani's.

That was when I felt my world crumbled, I could feel him leaving me. My tears flow as my body shook and trembled with great sadness.

What the fuck is happening?

Why won't he believe me?

We were perfectly fine this morning...
