Chapter 50- The End

Grace

We sat on the roof of Golden financial. He had a firepit and some chairs up here, and we watched the sunset.

We also watched the flock of dragons in the sky… none could see them below, since the Den was protected with magic.

They were every color and size, but the one who literally shined… the one who made me happiest was seeing little Wyn… she was the smallest of them, flying high in the air with Atlas. She really did look like a pearl, being a very light blue, almost white. She was so tiny in fact, that when it seemed she got tired, he held her in his claws.

“Want to join?” Asked my mate. He’s gotten a 6 pack of elvish beers for us earlier, but he was drinking his last one. I’d already finished mine, and had quite the buzz going.

“So long as I get to ride on your back again.” I smiled.

“Fuck it. Let’s go.” He said loosening his tie. He stripped, and went into his office for a few minutes.

“…Nice night, isn’t it?” Asked father… he used his power to see me.

“It is… where’s mom?” I asked casually.

“She’s with Kaizen.” He smiled. “It’s Hard letting you three live your lives.” He said silently. “I saw Tyson last night. He sends his apology.”

I hugged dad with all my might…. He petted my hair.

“Tears are for victory.” He said with a small chuckle. “I know you three can’t control that, but everyone is safe, and that’s all I care about.” He mumbled. “Enjoy your happy ending.”

“It isn’t all that happy with knowing Kaizen still-” I was cut off so I could see his ruby eyes look at mine kindly.

“It’ll work out…. And if it doesn’t, I promise I *Will* get involved.” He said firmly.

“But grandfather ruled against it.” I said, seeing him smile wider.

“Then it’ll be our little secret hmm? I just came to see how you’re doing.” giving me a kiss on my forehead. “You are my littlest pup… with the strongest heart. Aureus, keep taking care of my little one.” He said proudly.

Aureus came up with rope and a blanket, likely for the flight…but he bowed.

“With my blood, position, and assets.” Aureus bowed a little lower. “We were about to take a small flight around with the pack, but get a chair. I can get us more beers.” He offered.

“No, I just wanted to check in on my daughter….It give me peace to know she’s in good hands.” He said vanishing.

“Your family is so magical.” He complained. “Next it’ll be My folks sticking their nose in our alone time.” He chuckled. He jumped in the air to shift, and he was impressive.

He put the rope around his neck for me to climb, and I took the blanket with me.

With a single flap, we were with his-no Our people… and the city below as the sun set looked amazing… I could see the entire town from up here. Cars looked like ants…. And the tall buildings were far beneath us….

We were met with the dragon lords in the air as well. Othek and Sainevvi were still here, and they were double the size of the normal dragons, while Aureus was double the size of his council…

He gave a mighty roar. Without words they followed him.

Everyone flew to the forest, past the town, away from the river… landing in the wolf pack… I could see them below, running this full mooned night…. He landed and shifted in the forest clearing every pack had… Though by them not acting surprised, he had to have called them while he was downstairs too….

[The First flight in your den… there isn’t anything like it.] Said my mate. They stopped, and others landed…. The clearing held 414 dragons…. The Omegas unfortunately can’t fly, so they couldn’t be here…

A makeshift bonfire was made, and slowly, wolves came to the clearing too.

“I am King Aureus, the Golden One, The Mighty One…. The Eternal One as a Champion of Freeya…but that is not All that I am. The territory of this state, as well as Alaskeh is Mine… I hold this title…. And with it I offer my protection. I asked Alpha Ren to let me have his clearing tonight. Honestly, I did that because some of you are so small, that you would not be accepted into regular dens. But there will be no bullying due to station… all are welcome.” He said with a wide smile.

“Is that All sir?” Said Atlas, tossing him a stick.

There were gasps. My mate grinned.

“Oh yeah, and you, you little shit, come Prove that you may hold my niece in your arms.” He growled with a laugh as they charged each other.

This shocked people. No one knew his subordinate would be so bold.

The sticks exploded, and they had to keep getting new ones, but each time they found comically longer and thicker ones.

“I should thank his majesty when he’s done.” Said Wyn.

“You already have.” I said giving her a hug. We watched them have at it.

“I know… but I want to thank him again.” She smiled. “No one would waste their time on an Omega… yet he saved me… I can fly now… I have a suitor that isn’t someone looking for just a bed slave…” She mumbled. “Or someone after my bloodline…”

“He wouldn’t let that happen to you, nor any that are his blood.” I said firmly.

“I know…. He also spoke with the other Omega in my family, Emalia. He didn’t turn her, but he did set her up with a nice male… He’s claimed all grandfather’s bastards… It’s changing the entire ranking system of the council, but the top 6 won’t move.”

“He told me about that an hour ago.” I said seeing him so happy.

“Atlas, I deem you worthy of my bloodline’s female. Return to her.” Aureus said proudly, but I wasn’t really paying attention.

I caught a stick.

I growled. “Watch what you’re doing!” I said turning it to ash. It could have hit Wyn.

“Make me!” Yelled my mate, coming at me with a stick about the size of a staff.

“I’m beating the shit out of you!” I yelled.

I summoned my staff and chased him with it.

“I don’t want a Real Fight!” He yelled laughing.

“You Challenged! Fight Back!” I yelled.

It got a good chuckle out of everyone else.

“No!” He said stopping abruptly. Before I could say anything I was kissed on the lips.

It was warm, and I put my staff away… I wouldn’t use it on him anyway, not unless he had something of his own that he could summon.

“I mean… I can… but I don’t know how to use it yet.” He mumbled.

“What weapon?” I asked.

“…a fan….” He said quietly. “It turns into a staff with the fan blade at the end, but I can’t control it yet.”

“Maybe we could practice in the red room together?” I said excitedly.

“Really?” He asked.

“It would be amazing…. And I want you to teach me teleportation.” He said kissing me again.

It was passionate… he had to hold me up since for some reason…. It melted me. I’d grown to love this man…. I knew I could be with no other. My mate submitted me without meaning too… but being submitted was a turn on for me.

“It seems I need to be careful.” He mumbled.

“I bite.” I warned playfully. There were more chuckles.

The local wolves minded their own, not mingling too much with the dragons, but as the night went on, they did. We all had Fun, and I knew that was why Aureus called to rent out the clearing.

Tomorrow if we were still here, maybe I’d talk with them, and we could organize events here, or come back during the festival season to ride the rides… The concern on my mate’s face made me giggle. If he wasn’t good with planes… he Wouldn’t be good with rides either.

“Holy Shit! I just caught a deer!” Yelled Atlas. “It just Ran into my arms.”

“We got a public grill over there.” Pointed what had to be their Alpha. His French accent was Very heavy. He held medium dark skin and hair. He also had yellow eyes as a human, while his wolf’s eyes were orange… It meant he might not be able to trade with humans, He was also a stocky, tall man who looked about 35 or 40. It meant he was likely an Old wolf, especially since his accent sounded like he was from France originally, or maybe Northern Grandia.

“I think we could have a small cook out here then.” Said my mate. “I don’t mind buying more meat too.”

“We can arrange that. Our grocery store is 24 hours.” He beamed.

“Now the question is, do you want gold or cash.” I giggled.

“Your friendship is enough.” Said Alpha Glen. “After all, DoveMoon enjoys a lot of peace.”
