Chapter 109 Husband

Chapter 109 Husband
The Hearthrown Alphas were undoubtedly particular about hygiene.

It did not matter that we had taken a shower a few hours ago before our short sleep, he led me back to the bathroom.

He stepped out first, wordlessly turning for the bedroom with a towel wound around his waist. And when I returned to the bedroom, I found him fully dressed, sitting on the bed with a thin yardage of blue silk and a tiny skirt laid out beside him on the bed.

“How do you like your outfit for the day?”

I took in his grey long sleeve shirt stretched across his broad chest, the lounge pants hanging low on his waist and that thick hair in a man's bun, before returning my gaze to the bed.

“It’s cute.” The skirt was the kind I could wear for ballet.

He had wicked plans up his sleeves. I was just uncertain what they could be. And that ignorance terrified me as much as it excited me.

“Go,” he gestured towards the closet with his head, his hands firmly in his pockets. “Do all your feminine beautification and come back out. I’d like to dress you up myself.”

With a quiet nod, I turned around and made my way to the closet. I was moving past the doorway when I heard him say, “Lys.”

A shiver ran through me as my legs halted. That would be the second time in a few hours he would call my name.

Not doll, ballerina, or more recently, my pet.

I turned around.

He held my gaze for a few seconds before he spoke. “Put your hair up in a ponytail. Just like you would for a ballet act.”

My brows furrowed. But the question in my mind dissolved prematurely, before I could even make sense of it.

“Yes sir.”

My skin was supple, soft and glassy when I returned to the bedroom, and I could smell the pomegranate and lavender on me.

Mordaine had moved to the Chesterfield couch, my clothes beside him, his laptop opened on his lap. He looked up and waved me over as he set the laptop aside.

“You need to eat. It's important we keep your strength up,” he said as I lowered to my knees between his feet. “Maybe we can work together to draw up a nutrition list?”

I maintained silence as his hand moved to caress the sleek of my hair, and then he clutched the ponytail, lightly.

“Beautiful.” His voice would not have been out of place at an exotic horse market. A shiver of delight snaked through my body.

He reached his free hand back, grabbed the silk, and then threw it over my neck like a neck tie. “Any questions?”

It was a trick, and I walked around it. “No sir.”

“Not curious enough?”

“A sub is supposed to trust her dom.”

“Hm.” His hands were moving already, wrapping one end of the silk around my breast, like you would use a bandage around an arm. He let the extra length fall onto my abdomen and moved to my other breast. “So you trust me?”

I gazed up at him.

Our relationship was nothing like the kind I had with Finn or even Hale. There were things I would like to tell him, would love for him to know, but I might never be able to form the words.

He was intimidating, his looks, his presence, even the idea of him.

But I trusted him. He earned my trust every time he chose not to read my thoughts.

And, maybe he was a fierce god, maybe even a sometimes wicked one like he had admitted to on two separate occasions, but I was certain he would never hurt me or Finn or Hale. He saw us as his properties, cherished properties.

“Yes, I do.” I whispered, biting my lip hard as he tightened the silk around my breast.

“That makes me happy.” He leaned in, and showed me just how happy it made him with his tongue in my mouth.

When he pulled back, I was panting, wet, and my breasts were in complete silk bondage. The silk was anchored at my back and wrapped in a spiral around each breast, leaving most of the curve and areolas exposed.

The compression fanned the flames of my arousal to life.

“On your feet.”

I rose.

This silk was an experience. Every time I inhaled, my nipples seemed to harden more. He had bound my breasts so firmly it felt like a determined man was clutching them permanently.

He helped me into the shirt, pulling it over my hips as he stared up into my eyes. And then he patted my hips on either side, and asked me to walk to the end of the room and back.

“Perfect.” He relaxed on the couch, watching me walk back to him. “I can see your pussy through the skirt when the light hits you a certain way.”

He did not see me blush because his phone was ringing. HALE he mouthed before taking the call.

“Where’s my fairy?” Hale’s voice flooded the room immediately. It was a video call.

Mordaine sneered. “No salutations to your lover?”

“You're a grown man. I need to see my wife.”

“Shouldn't you be resting those old bones,” Mordaine shot back, but he waved me over and gestured for me to stand in front of him. “Where’s Finn?”

“Here, knocked out.” Hale returned, and as I was staring right at Mordaine, I saw the flicker of jealousy. It was as quick as a flash and then melted into something affectionate. “We just returned to the hotel.”

“At 1:00 am?” Mordaine frowned. Tokyo was seventeen hours ahead of us.

“A meeting with a hyperactive minister ran late, and then he insisted on showing us to this club. He was adamant that our experience of Tokyo was incomplete without it.”

“And did you like his bribe?”

“I am a responsible married man, darling. I have no need for escorts when I have a beautiful wife and a very demanding husband.” Hale sounded exasperated. “Now please turn the camera to Lys. I have had enough of your face.”

My throat dried up.

Husband? These two were married. They weren't four years ago. Hale would have told me so.

At the time, he mentioned a lover he could not hurt, but there was no talk of a marriage. And Hale was not a liar.

Did my betrayal break him so much then? Did it push him to marry his lover, or was that Mordaine’s condition of accepting him back?

“Did you get her consent? She does not look happy.” Hale was chuckling, and my shoulders jumped.

I had been so lost in thought that I had no idea Mordaine had turned the camera onto me.

“Is that the sound of jealousy I hear? You wish it was you?”

“You’re a vile man.”

“When has that ever been in dispute?” Mordaine had that boyish smile. He loved this, teasing Hale. “We plan to spend our day like this. Let me get you a better view.”

He rose from the sofa. He had the flip camera on with his phone still turned to himself, so I could not see Hale.

“I am giving you something to dream about while you hug your cold pillow. You cannot honestly call me selfish anymore.”

My lips were trembling in an effort not to smile despite the mounting heat between my legs.

The men were in banter mode, goading each other. Listening to them, I realized they would still be best friends if they were not lovers.

“Can you see that? Yes?” Mordaine was circling me with the dedication of an E! photographer, and my cheeks burned.

But I was too happy to be included in any exercise that would torture Hale.
