Micah was really happy and grateful that he always trained multiple times a week in his private gym at his mansion. Because the way they were running down this mountain which was fully covered in cold snow was really a though workout for his body, he could not have done it if he wasn't as fit as he was, eventhough he had not eaten propperly all the time he had been locked up here and had suffered from the cold.
With a determined look edged on his face he followed Silver closely as they made their way down the snowy mountains of the wastelands, towards the village. Futher away from the queen's upcoming wrath!
Meanwhile in the palace the queen was screaming her lungs out after finding out about the big betrayal!
"GUARDS!!!" she screamed wide eyed as she passed up and down the room Micah had been in, like a mad woman.
''Yes your wickedness, what can we do for you?" one guard asked breathless after running al the way from the other side of the hallway to her chamber.
"Gather ALL the guards and meet me at the stables in ten minutes!!'' she hissed in anger.
''But, but...." the guard sputtered.
''NO BUTS! if you want to live a day longer i suggest you run and do as i said if you don not i will pour all of my magic on you and you will disappear as if you have never been born!!'' she replied coldly while daring him to disobay her again so she could quench some of the blood lust, the need to kill, in her. But lucky for the guard he ran off to save his own skin.
"Now where did i leavemy damn snowglobe?!'' she muttered while her eyes scanned the room, who were getting red because of her boiling anger inside of her which was trying to escape.
After another search in her chamber she found it and grabbed it tightly in her hands while shaking it.
''Show me Micah!'' she dmaned the globe after which the globe clouded whitin before showing Micah escaping the palace grounds together with Silver, which made her even more enragged then she already was.
''You dare to free my slave Silver? you will not live another day for what you have done!'' she whispered as her eyes turned almost white. As she preparred for attack, both men finally had reached the village and just entered Silver's house which they found empty to Silver's suprise.
''Where are they??'' Silver muttered while walking around in slight panic as the time went by quickly.
"So who are you looking for and what now if they are not here, i think we nee to go soon!'' Micah said while watching Silver running the small house.
''My parents! i just don't understand why they a re not here at this time. normally my mother stays home when my father does the shopping in the morning!'' Silver muttered as he got more and more frustrated by the minuted. Suddenly a knock at the backdoor shocked both men and they stopped talking.
"Mr. Frost is that you?" a young girls voice was heard muffled from outside.
''Ah Edwina!'' Silver chuckled upon recognizing his neighbors daughter.
He quickly openend the door and pulled the girl inside the house and closed the door behind her.
''What are you doing here?'' he asked the girl who looked to Micah not older thenmaybe ten years old or something like that.
''I am very sorry Mr. Frost....ehm....your parents have left months ago, the are not here!'' Edwina softly explained to Silver's disbelieve and horror.
"Left? how?....why?'' he fired question upon question on the poor girl who looked taken a back by his sudden strong behavior.
''I...i am sorry Mr. Frost, i do not know anymore than that! my mom saw you arrive so she told me to go see you and tell you this, that is all sir!'' she explained meakly.
''Silver she is clear, they have left now lets go and go the mountain i came from otherwise wil will get caught!'' Micah exclaimed as he petted the head of Edwina who looked up at him with big eyes and a small smile.
After minutes of contemplating he gave in and kissed the girl on her cheek and went with Micah put of the backdoor that the girl had left open on her way back home and the went on towards the bushes at the back of his house and continued from there, out of sight of prying eyes.
Meanwhile the queen was held a short but clear speech to all of her warriors outside before the stabbles.
"We are looking for two men, SIlver you already know so is easy to spot, once you have him bring him to me and i will make an example out of him by killing him on the town square for betraying me! as for the other man, Micah he will be brought to me unharmed, i will deal with him as i see fit, understood?'' she barked coldly.
''Yes, your wickedness!'' all the men seated on horses and what not said out loud in unison.
''Good no go!'' she yelled and went on her winged unicorn down the mountains as if she was chaised by the devil himself!
Two hours later she entered the mountains and followed the footsteps in the snow untill she spotted in front of her Micah discussing something with Silver, making her smirk evily.
''Gotcha!'' she whsipered as for both men not to hear her untill she was closer.
Slowly she aproached them from behind, both Micah and Silver still unaware of the danger that was crawling up at them from behind!....
"So do we have a deal or not?'' Micah asked while looking staright at Silver's eyes who was still contemplating Micah's offer of joining his mafia. Finally after a moment of more silence he made the decision.
''Okay, deal! it seems that i am all alone so i think i would like to join you and find a way to to get to my family, wherever they are!'' he explained to Micah who nodded. After that both ,en shook hands with each other and then stepped over to were there were still ropes hanging and they started climbing up unto the surface, out of the still open portal, which light illuminated the already spooky walls of the rocky mountain.
Just when both men crawled upon normal ground and gotten up a noise coming from behind them made them turnaround swiftly.
There stoood, in all her glory, the wicked snow queen in utter silence, her full lips now pressed together in an angry thin line and her eyes glowing of the burning fury whitin her as she looked at the two man who had betrayed her deeply!
''You two really though you could escape me huh? well you both thought wrong!'' she chuckled coldly making Silver shiver in pure fear.
Both men stood frozen on their spot, waithing for what would come next as if in a trance, unable to move after she had raised her arm and had put an spellon them that made them i that state, unmovable.
''You of all, Silver, how could you? well i have enough of all your tricks! hereby i send you over to meet your parents, goodbye Silver!'' she said coldly without blinking an eye as she raised now both arms again as a bright light started to appear between them...
Unable to runaway, to escape his iminent upcoming death Silver just closed his eyes and waited while Micah watched on in horror as the Queen raised the ball of bright light and struck Silver with it.
Seconds passed and the smoke that had formed finally lifted, leaving nothing but Silver's clothes behind scattered on the cold rocky ground together with some of his bones....
Then the queen turned and locked eyes with him, making him gulp in fear for the first time in his life....
