Meanwhile in the human world in another time dimention, in Micah's mansion, Dimitri sat in his office, behind his desk, with his eyes plastered to the screen in front of him, not believing what his eyes had just seen on the tapes of the security camera, of the night that his friend had been kidnapped from right under their noses!
"How, how on earth!?" He mutterd frustratedly as kept rewining, going back to the beginning of the tapes and slowly moved forward again, and again, feeling like he was going crazy.
Suddenly his inner ramblings where cut short by a soft knock on his office door, making him to quickly look up.
"Come in!" He said loudly while looking down again at his computer screen.
"Hey, whats upp any news yet?" Marco, Micah's right hand man asked as he took a seat in front of Dimitri's desk.
"Take a look at these and tell me what you think!" Dimitri sighed whike shaking his head in bewildermend.
"Sure what is it about?" Marco replied while he pressed the play button of video.
"You'll see for yourself, i just need a fresh pair of eyes, telling me that i am not getting crazy or something, i have been starring at these the whole freaking afternoon and they still don't make any sense to me, but i need any bit of info as to come up with a plan as to try to find a way to get our Boss back before our enemies smell that the throne is empty at the moment, you got me?" Dimitri replied frustrated.
Marco frowned as he watched the images on the screen. It was the camera footage of the night that Don Micah had been kidnapped. Both man watched on, Dimitri for the Godw nkows whatver time this day, while Marco tried to see what exactly was on the video in front of him. After a while of stopping inbetween and restarting again on the wishes of Marco both watched the last images fade away into darkness untill they reached the end of the footage. With a frown and a sihj the leaned back in their chairs both deep in thoughts.
"Well?" Dimitri asked slightly impatient while looking eager over to Marco who rubbed his stubble while contemplating.
"We still don't know who she is or how she got in here?" Marco asked then, already feeling he knows the awsner he would probably get back.
"That's just it man! that is the freaking problem! nobody knows her or how she pulled this stunt on us, bloody NOBODY!!" Dimitry yelled in frustartion while pulling on his hair in almost dispair.
Marco looked back him, Dimitri was not only Micah's head of security, but also a loyal friend to most of the men. Both Marco and Dimitri knew Micah since they were little boys growing up, going to the same school, later to the same college, and do all the stuff boys would do at their age, partying and chasing girls untill it was time for them to grow up and become reall adults which had resulted in Micah being groomed to take over from his father, the late Don and for Marco to become his second in command and Dimitri had gotten his degree in security and had become Micahs's head of security detail. So this whole situation made them worried more and more!
Suddenly both men looked up at the door after hearing a faint knock.
"Who is it?" Dimitri asked.
"Doctor Angelo sir" came the reply from outside the office.
"Come on in doctor!" Dimitri replied while putting the computer in sleep mode.
After that Angelo came in closed the door behind him and waited while standing in front of the desk.
"Please take a seat Doc! how are you doing and how is the Dona doing?" Marco asked while Angelo gladly took a seat.
"I'm good, thanks for asking, the Dona on the other hand is not doing great at the moment. The fact that her son was kidnapped, really has a bad effect on her already fragile health so i am praying for her sake and also that of Don Micah himself that he will return in good health to us all soon!" Angelo stated with worriedness written all over his old wrinkled face.
"Yeah can imagine! she already lost his father and now her son is gone missing! the poor woman is dealing a lot already with her cancer so this scenario is really not healty for her but its the dark reallity, we can not change the fact he has ben taken, so right now out number one priority is to find out his whereabouts and come up with a plan how to get him back once we have found him!" Dimitri replied with tight lips.
"What about the bloodsamples you took from all of us, have gotten the results back yet?" Marco asked curiously and eager.
"Yeah about that, that is why i actually came to talk to you about. I was wondering if i can see the footage from the moment you all fell asleep because the results cmae back negative on all the things we know of that can cause a human to fall asleep like that so we need to do more research but i am just not sure in which direction yet, so if i can look maybe it would help me" Doctor Angelo said while looking from Dimitri to Marco and then back to Dimtri while waithing for an awnser.
Matteo looked at Dimitri and then Dimitri nodded slightly after some seconds of contemplating.
"Okay, but then i need you to sign a confidentiallety agreement first, of which i am sure you can understand the reasons right?" Dimitri said while opening his drawer, in search for the document.
"Yes of course i understand and it is not the first an dprobabaly will not be the last time either since i work for this family from the beginning so no worries!" Angelo replied while grabbing a pen from his pocket.
Minutes later Angelo put his pen down after having red and signed the requested document and then waits as Dimitri puts the signed document back into a folder an then back in his drawer while Marco turned the computer so as to face the doctor. Then Dimitri logged back into the security footage account and opened the footage who he can almost dream by know and started playing from the moment the first guards were knocked out in a deep slumber. As the first images started to appear, Angelo started to pay full attention and grabbed a notebook and his pen again, just in case he would see something interesting which could be of help in finding out what on earth it was that had such great affect on all these strong, bulky man!
While Dimitri and Marco watched the doctor writing some words sometimes or just mubling in himself as he saw something they waited for him to finish, hoping that showing him could really help them getting the much needed awnsers to their questions!
With only the images left of the moment that Micah was been kidnapped, Dimitri was about the stop the video, finding it not relevant enough for the doctor to see how their Don had been taken away, when suddenly Angelo's eyes widened in shock and looked up in horror at both men who in return looked back at him in suprise at his strong reaction....
Angelo swallowed hard. He did not know if he suddenly started seeing things that weren't really there or that he really just had seen a ghost appear of the footage....
He opened his mouth to speak but Dimitri beated him to it.
"What did you see doctor?!" he asked him while preparing himself for the awnser....
"I uhm i know we agreed on mee watching only up till this moment but can i see the rest please?" he asked almost breathlessly.
"Why, what did you see that makes you so...so upset doctor??" Marco asked while leaning in to the old man, who had a shocked expresion on his face which turned into slight panic or even fear, as Matteo red him well.
"Get him some whisky, i think he might need it!" Marco told Dimitri who then stood up and walked over to the corner of his office where he had a small bar installed with some drinks and snacks. After filling a glass for the doctor who still looked upset and even a bit pale, he also poured himself and Marco one, feeling that something was going to be revealed to them by the good doctor that would have great inpact on them....
After he had sat down again with the drinks in front of all of them on the desk he waited for the doctor who gulped the liquor down in one go with closed eyes before he started speaking.
''If i am correctly, you do not know who took Don Micah right?" Angelo asked tight lipped to wich both Dimitri and Marco nodded.
Angelo took a deep breath before speaking again, knowing that his next sentence was going to change things....
''Come on doc, speak! you are killing is us hear with your suspencefull silence!" Dimitri muttered, growing more and more impatient by the minute.
"Okay, okay! i'm sorry but i just did not see this coming! and to be franck, i still can not believe my old eyes! i uhm, well it is just a huge shock you understand!" Angelo replied still in disbelieve.
"Doc i am pretty patient but everithing has an expireing date, so also my patience! so you better freaking explain in understandable sentences to us, what you have just seen that makes you look like a ghost or else!...." Marco growled as he put his gun in front of him on the desk as to show how serious he was while Dimitri cocked an eyebrow upon seeing his friends gun.
The moment Angelo spotted the gun in front of him, he gulped and knew that he had to start putting his scramlbed thoughts together or otherwise he would leave the mansion tonight in a bodybag! So he closed his eyes for a moment or two and took some deep breath as to calm his ragging heartbeat before he open his mouth again.
When he finally had found the courage he needed, coming from somehwere deep whitin him, he opened his eyes again and looked straight at Dimitri.
"I know the woman who took Don Micah!" he slowly bud clearly stated, to the shock of both men on the otherside of the table. Dimitri's jaw twitched while Marco's eyes widened.
"What?!!.....say that again?!" Dimitri stuttered, now also with with wide eyes.
