Chapter 68 Busted
Madison’s POV
“Look how shameless she is.”
“She even looks like she’s enjoying being fucked by two men at a time. What am I even saying? She’s a prostitute.”
“Oh God! This is disgusting to watch.” I covered my face, blocking the video from my vision.
“My plan has already kickstarted. You should do your part well today too.” Alessandro turned off the phone screen.
I smoothened my skirt, smiling at him, “How’s my outfit now?”
He shrugged, not saying any other thing. His eyes hardened, already giving me my answer.
“But this skirt is quite longer than the last one. A tennis skirt is not supposed to be maxi!” I raised my eyebrow, biting my smile.
Oh he was so cute when he was trying to hide his overprotective nature.
“I didn’t say anything. You know what you shouldn’t do.” He forced a small cap on my head, a bit hard.
“You can’t even pretend not to care about my outfit, Don.” I pulled him by his waist, locking my hands together. “I know you’ll beat anyone that tries to touch me or touches me sexually or in an inappropriate manner.”
“Kill. Gut out their brain. Feed them to my hyenas. Wipe out their generations. If you’re trying to quote me, do it correctly, Raven.” He raised my face up by my chin.
“Sounds too raw and dark.” I shook my shoulder like someone who had something cold slide through her spine.
“It’s almost time for their break. You should go.” Alessandro placed a kiss on my forehead. “Call Jero if things go south or if you’re in trouble.”
“I’m a big girl.” I released him from my grip, turning to leave but suddenly stopped, turning back again. “Can you send Joseph Turner those videos of Linda? I want him to see the kind of woman he chose over my mother.”
Alessandro nodded curtly. I smiled brightly, turning away.
Alessandro said this mission was of personal gain and it was very important to him and so I was going to bring in my A game.
Today, I was to meet Santiago for the first time, at the Tennis Court. The plan is to bump into him while he drank with his friend and get him to say hi and bye.
You know, create an image in his head.
Jero parked the car in front of me, signaling me to enter and then drove me. He gave me gist of how Igor lost a big deal because Alessandro refused to sign knowing fully well how Igor suffered for that particular deal.
I couldn’t help but smile. It wasn’t compared to what he did to me but it was something.
He’d feel pain too. That was all that mattered.
Then he told me how Claudia got kicked out of her prestigious high society club because their conversations were leaked out through Claudia’s socials.
It was also Alessandro’s doing.
“She would also lose her investment as penalty for breaching the code of conduct.” Jero shrugged. “I heard she was one of the top investors and she had even lost weight on this matter. Only Don can help too but he refused to do that.”
Good.
Hopefully, she died of heart attack.
“I wonder why he’s doing all …. Oh, it’s because of you.” Jero grinned, giving me this eye that said ‘what are you not telling me’.
“This is the place, Jero. Let’s continue our discussion tomorrow, big brother.” I chuckled but Jero seemed to have frozen, staring at me with his wide eyes.
“You.. big brother?”
“Oh. You better get used to it.” I jumped out of the car, waving at him. Not waiting for him to snap out of his shocked expression, I turned away.
I was working with time.
Their breaks didn’t last for long and so I had to hurry.
After I verified, I entered inside. I remembered his face and so i just walked in, scanning faces one by one.
The court yard was filled with people of high class and wealthy financial status. On a normal day in my normal life, I wouldn’t even dream being here.
Then my eyes caught onto a familiar side view. I walked slowly, my eyes pinned on the face. He turned, making me smile to myself.
Got you.
Just as I was about to approach him, a hand grabbed onto mine, his grip firm.
“I knew I saw you.” Russo chuckled, his eyes raking my body. “What are you doing here?”
“What do they do here?” I eyed him, a bit irritated at his interference.
“You don’t look like a tennis girlie.”
“My bad, I had no idea I was that transparent. Russo, I don’t have this time today.” My eyes glanced back to Santiago. He was checking time on his wristwatch.
I was running out of mine.
“Something brought you here.” Russo squinted his eyes at the direction I was looking, missing it entirely. “Is your Don aware of this? You want to date a tennis player?”
“Yeah whatever. Now would you …”
“Work with me. I’ll provide everything you need. Is it money? Fame? Beauty?”
“I am not interested, Russo. Why can’t you just let me be.” I tried to get out of his grip but he wouldn’t budge.
Having had enough of being a whiny bitch, I had set my knees to attack his most sensitive organ when a hand wrapped around his, his vein popping out.
My eyes moved until it landed on the familiar ones.
Well… look at that.
“She said she’s not interested, Russo.” His American accent was polished, exuding these Ivy-league confidence that only money could buy.
“Stay out of this Santiago. It’s a personal affair.” Russo glared daggers at him.
“She seem not to be in support of that.” Santiago turned to face me. I shook my head. “See?”
Russo scoffed, releasing my hand. “I have what you need about that person you’re looking for. Contact me soon.”
I paused, my mouth falling open.
Snap out of it, Eva.
“You good?” Santiago asked, placing his hand on my shoulder.
A small smile crept up to my lips, my head bobbing up and down. “Y..yeah. Thanks.”
“You look dehydrated. I could get you something… uh?”
“Madison.”
Alessandro said there was nothing wrong using my real name anyway.
“Nice to meet you, Madison. I’m Santiago Salvatore.”
Bingo.
Next step - hard to get.
“I should go continue my game over there with the girls.” I smiled softly, taking a step back.
“You play?”
I shrugged lightly, “I’m learning.”
“I could teach you?” He offered. “You can’t say no from a pro.” His smile widened, revealing his gold tooth.
Could Alessandro want that gold?
“Can I think about it?” I bit my lips, lazily dragging my eyes up his body.
He nodded, “Yeah. But… I’ll be needing your number so I’ll be sure you don’t ditch me for another mentor. Besides, let’s say you can pay me this way for shooing Russo.”
“Fair.” I chuckled, dialing my number in his phone. Then I waved at him, turning around.
I could feel the back of my leg burn from him staring too long at it. My foot steps almost changed its rhythm. It always happened whenever I felt someone’s eyes on me.
“Don, it’s time for phase 2.”
“You’re on a mission.” Someone said from behind me, making me scream, my hand on my chest.
Oh no.
