Chapter 89 Intentions; the kill
She got it! She totally understood them! Especially since they were eating when it happened.
She just didn't know what it would mean for the restaurant or Isabella herself.
Approaching the restroom, Celia heard sobs coming from one of the cubicles.
This must really be hard on her, Celia thought as she had been opportuned to hear Isabella's perspective.
“This is so hard!”, Isabella confessed amidst sobs as Celia opened the cubicle.
“I know!, but crying won't help it!
Come on! Let's go get you lemon water!”, Celia said, washing her hands soon after.
Isabella had cried at the spontaneity of her body’s reaction and how she couldn't control it.
She cried because her mind quickly drifted to her worries about growing the child inside of her.
She cried because she wondered if she could bring up the child without its father.
“Well I actually expected that!”, Celia said in all honesty as both ladies came back out to an empty restaurant.
“Do you think I'm going to get sacked?!”, Isabella asked with worry as she saw what a single uncontrolled action had caused on the restaurant.
“What are you talking about?!”, Celia asked as she went forward to pack up the half eaten foods on the tables.
“What if it spreads and it gives the restaurant a bad name?!
Then I'll be sacked for sure!”, Isabella said, watching Celia shake her head in disbelief.
“How about you actually relax and enjoy the lemon water?!”, Celia said, trying to shift the topic.
“I can't! I feel so guilty!”, Isabella expressed.
She didn't intend to get pregnant, but she did get pregnant. She had decided to keep the baby, thus, it was now her responsibility.
“You actually need to relax!”, Celia said as she continued to clean the tables, dispersing the air freshener as she did.
“I'm worried, especially with what happened earlier…
How am I going to take care of a child if I can't even control my reactions?!”, Isabella asked, the worry eating her up.
“Ever heard of pregnancy hormones?!”, Celia asked back sarcastically , trying to ease Isabella of her worries.
She realized Isabella was worrying too much rather than focusing on taking the day one after the other.
“You'll be fine! I promise!
I already told you I'll be here! Why are you so worried?!”, Celia reassured, however, Isabella was too unnerved to have any of it.
“Why are you so relaxed?!”, She asked back, exasperated, completely ignoring the lemon water actually intended for her to relax.
“How about you start taking the day one after the other!?!”, Celia suggested, taking the lemon drink from the counter and giving it to Isabella.
“Alright!”, Isabella finally said as she thought about Celia's words.
However, the lingering fear of being fired weighed in her heart.
She didn't have any other means of acquiring the money, so messing this up was not an option.
Especially if she had to navigate pregnancy alone.
As soon as it reached the closing hour, Celia insisted Isabella go home to rest, especially with what happened earlier.
To Celia, it was clear Isabella needed a lot of it
Regardless, her head was in a mess as she walked back home.
She weighed her decision, wondering how not to regret it.
A baby was definitely a lot, she thought as she walked back to her apartment.
The amount of times her mind had wandered to the pain she would feel while giving birth to the baby outweighed her actually enjoying the fact that she was growing a human being inside of her.
“Ohhhhh!!!!”, Isabella cooed as her train of thoughts was disrupted by the cute baby outfit displayed outside of a clothing store.
“Oh my God! This looks so beautiful!!”, Isabella said as she took a detour, completely forgetting about what she had been thinking about literally moments before.
“Can I help you ma'am?!”, an attendant asked as she saw the baby cloth had captured Isabella's attention.
“Yes! Yes! I want this for my baby!”, Isabella said as the attendant opened the door to the entrance wider.
The gown being displayed was decorated with pink ruffles, an attire to make a baby look like a princess.
“You have made the right…!”, the attendant drawled as she was interrupted by Isabella.
“Oh wait!! I don't know what gender I'm having yet!”, Isabella remembered as she brought her hands to the bump which hadn't become apparent yet.
“That is not a problem! We have gender neutral baby clothes. Whichever gender your baby turns out to be, the clothes will serve their purpose!”, the attendant replied, intent on making a sale.
Just like that, Isabella quickly acquired three baby clothes.
She might have briefly forgotten about her worries, but she didn't forget about her income and how she needed to spend wisely.
The last thing she wanted was for her and her baby to be homeless.
“Did you get it?!”, Nico asked his brother as he had excused him as he wanted to take the call.
“Yes I did! She works as a staff in his mansion. She can give us backdoor access as well!”, Sebestian said as he put his phone on the table.
“Guns right?!”, Nico asked.
“Definitely!”, Sebestian answered yet again
“Is it going to both of us or the entirety of the team?!”, Nico inquired.
“No, you're going to stay!
I need someone to call the shots just In case things don't go as planned!”, Sebestian said, irking Nico.
“Ahan! So you knew it was a death wish and you still took on the job!”, Nico pointed out.
“Alright fine…!”, Sebestian started, he knew his brother was still on to him about his decision.
“... I do know it's a deathwish! But this is it! Our one and done! We'll be paid two billion Euros if we complete this job!”, Sebestian said as he watched Mico become quiet.
“Wouldn't you like to actually do bikes without ending anyone! Like we always talked about man!”, Sebestian said, running his hands through his hair as he finally revealed his plan.
“So that was it?!”
“Yes! Yes Nico! That's why you have to stay here in case anything goes wrong!
It's going to be happening in a few days man!
Get your head in the game!”, Sebestian rasped before he walked out of his office, leaving Nico.
