Chapter 145 The Showdown II
"Ughhh!", Andreas started as he headed back to the conference room.
Luciano's stubbornness was going to cost them even more lives.
Most of the men had scattered around the office, preparing themselves as they gathered weapons.
It was settled...
They would follow after The Don.
Thus, Aldo and Andreas sat in the same room, going about certain strategies to blindside Luigi.
"There's only one entrance, it doesn't give us a lot of cover!", Andreas said.
"And neither does sneaking in, they might be expecting us!", Aldo countered.
"We need to think of something...!"
"Uhmm guys...
You want to see this!", Matteo said, interrupting their conversation as he brought his laptop to the table.
"What's this?"
"Who's this?!", both men asked simultaneously, wondering how that was of any importance to the situation at hand.
"Just watch it first!", Matteo said, playing two videos.
One where their anonymous friend revealed his face, and the other a live feed where he stood by his motorcycle.
"And this is important because...!?", Andreas drawled, quickly forgetting how Nico came into the picture.
Matteo simply gave them a frustrated look as he reiterated all of Nico's clues.
"Ohhhh!", Aldo said.
"What does he want?!", Andreas questioned.
"The failed hit on Don a whole ago...
His brother led the mission, but you killed him!", Matteo explained.
"How do you know this?!", Andreas asked.
"Well!
I keep a file on...
Pretty much everything!",Matteo replied.
"Wait!
If he's seeking revenge...
Why come here?!", Aldo asked, putting two and two together.
"Doesn't that make him a threat?!", Andreas asked Matteo.
A question he had no answer to.
"Well I guess we won't know till we find out!", Matteo said.
"Have some men search him!
Then bring him up!", Andreas said.
Matteo left soon after to report the task.
"You should probably clear all this up!
We don't know his intentions just yet!", Andreas said.

Nico walked into the conference room, nodding at the decor.
It was unlike anything they'd ever had while his brother's gang remained.
The finishing, the air conditioner, the marble table top and the rest of the intricate details in the room.
'I didn't know The Don had such good taste!', he thought to himself
Meanwhile, the eyes in the room couldn't help but stare as they remained defensive.
Not like Nico would expect the opposite.
"Hey man!", Nico said after being in a staredown with Andreas for a couple of minutes.
He took a seat as he actually wondered if he could get some refreshments.
The man beside him looked in his direction, the same mean look on his face as he waited for what Nico had to say.
"A glass of whiskey please!", Nico said as he brought his hand to a chugging motion.
"Whiskey!

The drink!", He explained as he waited for the man to move.
He was replied with nothing but silence as said man looked towards Andreas.
Simply with a wave of his hand, he went out to fetch Nico's whiskey.
"For a minute I thought you didn't drink whiskey!", Nico said as he relaxed into his seat.
"I can't believe you've been the one sending all those clues!", Andreas started.
"Well here I am in blood and flesh!", Nico said as he spread his hands.
"Why are you here!?!", Andreas asked, wanting to make sense of his arrival.
"Simple!
I'm here to kill the fucker who ordered the hit on The Don!", Nico said truthfully.
By this time, his whiskey had been brought into the room.
"Thanks!"
"Shouldn't you be on to him by now?!", Andreas asked.
"Well if I could I wouldn't be here.
He ordered a hit that was impossible!
I mean look at the fortress he lives in!", Nico said.
"And how is that any advantage to us?!", Andreas pressed.
"It's not!
I just have a lot of information you'd like to know!", Nico said as he chugged his whiskey.
"We wouldn't be needing them after today!", Andreas countered.
"Well!
That was the same thing you thought the last time!", Nico said.
"How do you know about that?!", Andreas questioned, wondering how Nico knew that.
"Like I said, I know a lot of things you'd like to know!", Nico responded.
He suddenly stood up.
The spontaneity of his action resulted in the men in the room pointing their guns at him.
However, he simply smiled as he approached the floor to ceiling window.
"His uncle wants the Title, he kidnapped the wife and the daughter because he loves them!",
"She's not his wife!", Andreas corrected.
"Noted!
His lover!
Anyways,
He's going to use them as leverage to get the title.
However...!", Nico continued as he turned.
He raised his hand as a result of the guns still pointed at him.
Aldo and Andreas simply shared a look, knowing that much information simply meant something.
"What you don't know is...
He'll kill them regardless of The Don's decision!", Nico said.
"Shit!
What are we waiting for!?
We need to go!", Andreas started with a sense of urgency.
"But we can't!
There's only one entrance and they'll probably be expecting us!", Aldo countered again.
Nico simply watched their argument.
Quite frankly he wanted to unalive Luigi as well.
Probably more than Luciano wanted to.
He quickly recognized they had to help each other.
"I know another entrance!", Nico said.
"How the fuck is that possible?!", Andreas questioned.
"It's airborne!", Nico replied as he downed the rest of the whiskey.
"We can't go anywhere near that area with a helicopter.
That's like a grand announcement!", Andreas said, unable to see what Nico was talking about.
"Who said anything about a helicopter!?!", Nico questioned with a smile.
"What do you mean?!", Aldo asked back, obviously confused.
"Look!
we need a small group of men to infiltrate the area, you're literally going to be jumping from rooftop to rooftop to get to where the Uncle would appear from.
You don't have to worry about the building though.
It has a staircase which brings you to the ground floor!", Nico explained.
That solution was as a result of the field work he had done.
"What do you mean you!?
You said you just now!", Aldo said, picking the details.
"That's cause I'll be needing a sniper...!", Nico said as he walked to the closesan near him.
Touching the middle of his forehead, he continued.
"... I want the shot right in the middle of his head!
And I'll be the one shooting it", Nico said as a smirk appeared on his face.
With that...
The men carried on with their plans.
It might just lead them to killing three birds with a single stone.
