Chapter 106 Second Impression
Following Celia's departure, Isabella settled to simply watch a TV show with a slightly sleepy Sophia in her arms.
She didn't complain though, she would watch the show, no matter how boring it was to get Sophia to sleep.
Afterall, she had work to be done, and she also had to prepare for the week ahead.
She kept thinking about the man who had been giving her attention for the past week and wondered what she really wanted to do.
Asides the fact that Luciano knocked her up, she hadn't had any genuine attraction to the opposite gender.
He did give her a lot of attention. The kind she had never gotten.
However uninterested she seemed, she couldn't lie that it wasn't flattering.
Celia's words rang in her head, "...just set up a date with him. I'll take care of Sophia!"
She was suddenly jolted out of her thoughts as she felt Sophia soil her diapers.
"Mama!
Ready for a change!
Such a pretty girl!", Isabella cooed as Sophia giggled.
Isabella was starting to rethink her decision.
Maybe going out with him wouldn't be so bad.
"I know you won't mind going over to Celia's!
That's right I know you won't!", Isabella cooed as she saw her daughter's face light up simply from calling Celia's name.
She didn't hesitate to pick her phone and call Celia and tell her about said intentions.
Soon enough, Celia made provisions to babysit Sophia for the next day, and Isabella agreed to go on a date with Esteban.
She quickly picked out her dress, got ready and left in a cab.

"...and that is how I gave him first aid. Thank goodness I tried. The situation could have been really worse!", Esteban explained as Isabella sipped water from her glass.
As far as she knew, her first impression of him saved him a whole lot.
This was just completely different.
She tried to remember that as he continued to unravel more of himself.
He was a successful farmer who apparently could give first aid.
How wonderful, Isabella thought.
He was twenty five years old.
He was tall and had dark hair.
Yet, as far as Isabella knew, he didn't hold conversation as well for her.
She wondered why she even went on the date in the first place.
"Aren't you saying anything?!", Esteban asked Isabella as she thought of how she had wasted a dress.
"Ah! I was waiting for you to finish up your story!
I did hear your friend was doing alright!", Isabella answered.
"But I didn't say he was my friend! He was the helper at the party who couldn't swim!", Esteban corrected.
"Oh!", Isabella simply said, sipping more gulps of water as she immediately thought of Luciano saving her that one time.
At the very least, she needed to go back to her baby.
Now she was determined to leave.
"Would you look at the time!", Isabella pointed out sarcastically.
"What about it!? It's really just been an hour?!", Esteban said as he also looked at his wristwatch.
"Yes I know!
The time is far spent!", Isabella said, packing her things as she got back on her heels.
"But we only just got to the restaurant!", Esteban countered.
"Like I said
I'm very well aware.
It's just that my daughter will get all fussy now! She hadn't had milk in over an hour!", Isabella said as she watched Esteban's eyes move towards her slightly exposed cleavage.
"Ohh!
Do you want me to drive you then?!", Esteban asked.
"Oh no no no! I don't want to be a bother!
I'll be off now!", Isabella said in a rushed tone as she brisked out of the restaurant.
She didn't mean to use Sophia to get out of the situation, but she just had to.
Isabella felt like the conversation was going nowhere.

Unaware of the development of the past year, Mr and Mrs Morales sat before the monitor as Mr Morales was about to send the last eight million to Luciano's account.
The frequent account had been saved as a beneficiary, thus, they didn't need to search too much for where Andreas had given them.
They soon paid the amount, immediately feeling the burden they'd been carrying for so long leaving their shoulders.
"I feel happy!", Mr Morales said as they stared at the receipt. He really felt lighter.
"Does this mean we can ask about Isabella now?!", Mrs Morales inquired
She had been holding on to Luciano's words.
That she would get her daughter if they paid it all. Now that they already did, she hoped he wouldn't go back on his words.
Mr Morales looked at his wife before he continued, "I think so! But we obviously can't ask him on the phone!".
"Oh shut up! He wouldn't even pick up our calls!", Mrs Morales reasoned.
"Si!
That means we go to his office!
We're done paying it all!
We should have our daughter now!", Mr Morales said, in a bid to convince himself.
"Yes yes! We have to!
Her sisters keep asking after her! I'm running out of answers Amore!", Mrs Morales said, clasping her scarf tightly.
"Since we're done paying! The least they can do is give us answers...", Mr Morales started as he was interrupted by his wife.
"Don't go asking anything that'll get you killed at least!", she said, quickly knocking some sense into her husband.
"Right! We'll start by calling his assistant, what's his name..!", Mr Morales drawled, trying to recall Andreas' name.
"Andreas! The young lad was even taller than you!", Mrs Morales jabbed as she tried to suppress her laughter.
"Fine! We'll call Andreas! Probably we can get a date with The Don quicker like this!", Mr Morales said as his wife nodded.
The situation would have probably given them a heart attack.
Isabella had long left Luciano's mansion, she had gotten pregnant and she had the baby.
Who knows what sort of plot Luciano would dish out to get her parent's off his back?
