Chapter 77 She was alone
Ravyen's POV
I squinted back wondering why she looked surprised.
Is she trying to question my capabilities of being a responsible husband? Or just curious to know if I was responsible for her memory loss?
"How did she lose her memory?" She pressed on. I heaved a sigh, feeling tasty.
Hastily, I snapped my finger and a maid appear quickly. She was just around the corner to attend to my need.
They only work during the day and vanish at nights. I ordered she serves me coffee but didn't really pay attention to the therapist need.
"I'd like to have cinnamon tea" this woman added like she was asked.
When the maid left, she reminded me of the question again.
I don't know why, but I felt that question was coming at me.
"She was involved in an accident" I replied, waiting anxiously for the next question.
"And she was alone?".
"Hmm?".
"Where were you when she got the accident?".
Oh my gosh! I'm starting to think Kylian had brought us a detective instead of a therapist as he had claimed.
I can't help but wonder where she was driving to.
Here I am hoping she could get Arianna off her bad condition, and she's proven to be annoying.
"Alright I'll come plain if that is what you want" I suddenly stated.
"We didn't have a fight or quarrel, it was just an accident she got into" I disclosed.
"I didn't think so" she commented and took her bag upon her thigh.
She began to search inside the bag which made me wonder what she was looking for.
Finally, she took out a paper and fling it to me.
I took the paper hurriedly to skim through its pages.
It was Arianna's medical reports.
The report stated that she was driving carelessly before her accident.
"Who gave you this?" I was shock at how she have it.
"I requested for it from Kylian" she confessed.
"It's important that I know the medical state of my patient before I begin therapy sections" she added.
I bite my lips aa the therapist seems to be getting on my nerves already.
How will Arianna even recover with a woman lik her?
The maid appeared with the beverage and vanishes immediately. We didn't touch the beverage but only glared at ourselves.
"She was definitely depressed!" her words snapped me out of my imagination immediately.
"What?" I stuttered, confused at what she meant.
"Believe me Rav"
I rolled my eyes at this part.
"I'm a woman, and I know when a woman is passing through issues at home..."
"She's not passing through any problem!" I nagged at her while she jerked into confusion.
"Look, you are here to help Arianna regain her memory not to blame me for the cause" I reminded her with a frown.
I was embittered by her words. Do I look like someone tough? I tried my best to appear gentle except for how serious I look sometimes.
"I'm sorry Mister, I mean Rav" she apologized while i fused at heart.
She diverted her mode of questions suddenly and told me to state memories we have both shared.
Well, at least she asked a simple question.
To be honest, I felt guilty for putting Arianna in such a cruel condition.
I just can't wait to see her regain her lost memory.
It's okay if she chooses to remain angry with me, at least I know that she's fine.
I told the therapist loved moments of me and Arianna's memories. Adventures we shared together.
I lied about some just to get the therapist mine off the fact that I was to be blamed.
How we investigated her mother's killer, how we almost burnt the house, moments we share the same dreams, Cuddling ourselves on the bed, being just few meters away but still missing each other.
The therapist had to cut the story short as she heard enough by listening.
Although she commented that our adventures were suicide mission and that I was risking the life of my partner.
She always seized opportunity to accuse me for troubles wouldn't she?
Well, for her information, Arianna had enjoyed every bit of it.
She finally announced that we were done and she could see Arianna now.
I heaved a sigh of relief as she announced that she was done with her questions for me.
I hasten her up to go walk on Arianna.
She smiled at me all of sudden when I pressured her to go to Arianna.
I'm guessing she got the impression that I loved my wife.
I think she owes me an apology.
She asked that Arianna be brought to the living room so that she could give her a proper therapy.
Kylian and I assisted Arianna to come to the living room.
Mrs. Carolina was seated in her position, patiently waiting for her.
We sat her opposite Mrs. Carolina and stepped aside to give them space for a proper communication.
Mrs. Carolina smiled at her while Arianna stared confusingly at her.
"Don't worry Arianna, by the time you're done with your therapy, it would be like all this never happened".
I loved the way she gave the assurance. I'm hoping that she won't fail.
She began asking Arianna some questions that she felt might help her regain her memory.
She questioned Arianna if she recognized me and Kylian. But she denied ever knowing us both.
I was breathing heavily as I heard her deny me.
I felt my heartbeat racing waiting for a positive result.
Mrs. Carolina kept up with a dialogue with Arianna.
I kept a wry smile anticipating to see the end of the therapy. As for kylian, he sat by the dinning table, crunching popcorn like he was in a cinema.
Chewing that with so much grief I. His eyes had become part of him.
Nothing the therapist did seems to be working to me.
Being annoyed that no progress is being made, I made an attempt to
leave the living room when I suddenly heard her call my name.
"Rav?".
