Chapter 55 This isn't fair
Ravyen's POV
It wasn't as though it were legally theirs, they stole it from the weak, oppressed and poor. "This isn't fair!" Romano screeches dashing the paper to the ground. I lowered my head to the meal in front of me.
I had lost my appetite but just to mock them that their words means nothing, I decided to eat. I dropped my legs from the table, beckoned on Frank who poured me a glass of wine. I spit out the cigarette from my lips, took a mouthful of the wine, complimented it and then scruntized the ranting men.
How pathetic they look wanting to devour me for my acts. Then I took a fork, served myself a steak, something I could pour my anger on. I purposely made noise with the plate, chewing my mouth and then spitting out the steak back in the plate to disgust them.
They anticipated my reply and were left with no choice than to wait. Despite the fact that they were boiling with anger. It's just an emotion that's part of these Dons.
"All is fair in the dark world, you just have to accept your fate, I rule and you have to abide by my laws!" I clearly stated wanting to round up quickly as they read the contract papers in shock.
Sanchez scoffed and everyone's eyes fell on him. He has been quiet for a while, observing and flickers a lighter which made noise. "Smart huh? It's the only way to suffer, extorting from others, building fear in them, and feasting on it to grow, but let's be sincere..."
He paused and ducked his head closer to me. "You're scared, so frighten that you try to hide it, it's a part of you amico and slowly it would consume, that one thing you're scared to lose"
My heart skips fast as I gulp hard, a strand of sweat bulbs my face as we were staring at each other as though reading our minds. There was silence except for the murmurs.
I then bursted into laughter so hard that it made the rest to fret. "Let's see who is scared now" I told him and a projector unveil a screen behind them. I let out a devilish smile as each of them found their loved ones held bond
I was enjoying the fear in their eyes and for Sanchez, it was his only son who was hospitalized. A nurse was on standby to inject the young lad to death. She just had to wait for my signal.
Alessandro was his penthouse in an island that has all his embezzled wealth locked up in it. I had stationed some fire igniters to blow it off at my command. He gasped and stood up from his seat.
"Someone stop this mad man!" He cried, panic, tried to reach the caretakers and soldiers he kept on standby there but wasn't connecting. My men had taken care of them and he shouldn't be wasting his time.
I crossed my legs and poured myself some wine again, making sure it makes a bubbling sound. Frank and I exchanged glance. We both feast on the scenerio with our eyes. Who says a mafia doesn't love.
The best way to break them is find their weaknesses. Giulio was his sex tapes and videos of his vile acts on the innocent, child abuses and drug trading. He was campaigning for a seat in the government house and had to maintain a clean slate.
This alone would ruin his reputation. It was something he couldn't debunk easily and his family trust would be shaken. Romano was his wife. She was heavily pregnant. Right now, he was staring at her, being pointed with a gun to the head by one of my men.
She was weeping and calling out for help from romano. At this rate, she might give birth. Fortunately for them, they could communicate just to make them believe it wasn't a fake act but I have everything precious to them under control.
My agents were just waiting for me signal as they seems enthralled to cause destructions. It's what they've been taught. I arched my arms behind my head, watching the cinema before me.
One thing they were certain for, I murder without considerations and they know i wasn't joking. "Non farlo! Ravyen!" He barks with a shaky lips as his face turns pale.
They must be wondering how I got this information. Fernandez's was his emotional support pet. This don was just weird. I heard he ran through the fire to save that ugly fat cat.
According to the rumors, it was the only gift he got from his mother before she passed away. She has made him promise he'd take care of it and sees it as her.
"il maschio! Vi prometto chei vi salvero dal boia...a qualunque Costco!" Sanchez says in Italian. He would be rescuing his son from the nurse whom he refers to as a hangman at all cost.
I sniffed rubbing the tip of my nose, getting all tired of their undying promises and threat. The shock on their eyes that I knew this much about them. I never visit my preys without having something to threaten them with.
Sanchez was right, I feast on their fears, the only way for me to survive. "non preoccupartiti salverò" Romano assures and she shook her head, shivering.
He'd save her, that what he says but then, I wonder how because I have the upper hand. "E io to salverò, mia piccola donzella Della scarpetta" Fernandez said to the cat which seems unconcerned and just licking her paws as my bouncer held her up high.
The fact that he claims to rescue her and even calls her slippers girl in his statement made me bluff my cheeks out. It meows and brawl trying to retch out of my man's grip.
I rubbed my ears and then stood up from where I sat, gave a broad smile and said; "So dear friends, who do you think?"
