Chapter 27 It my first try
I'm sorry, it's my first try" he mused wiping off the water from his face.
It ceased and I exhaled quickly. Thanks to him, we had to clean up the place. It turns out his maids always comes in the morning!
I rolled my eyes around, frustrated as I quickly took a napkin close by and threw on his face.
"It seems we won't be sleeping today" I gruesomely said.
He chuckled silently as the water stopped but I returned a glare.
He squeezed his lips and was about to say the words, he always say;
"Don't worry about it, I got it under control, just rest your head"
"I have to worry Rav, so just shush and get to work!" I barked and he shudders.
He rushed to get a mop and this day, we were stuck with work. It was fine, at least, I don't have to worry over the problems in my heart.
We spent two hours doing this and when we were done, I took it upon myself to prepare the meal.
Well, I didn't let him settle for his phone but watch me as I teach him.
He was funny as he keeps asking me the same questions over and over again. The worst was when I request he chop some onions.
He ended up crying with just a chop, he scream and ask me for help. I tried not to laugh as he was so cute doing that.
He cussed at onions and intend to leave me but I dragged him back, he just has to do it.
Gosh, he's horrible at chopping! He shares everything I ask him to chop into half not piece by piece.
Even the rice I asked him to cook ended up wasting because he claims to be blinded by the onions.
Finally, I got my risotto. The broth was derived from butter, onion, white wine, Parmesan cheese, rice and vegetable with my annoying assistant who was the first to taste the meal. It seems he wasn't blind now.
I await his reply. He flutters his eyes at me and then widens them.
"Hmm! This taste heavenly!" He commented and quickly grabbed my waist.
Jolting me up and kissing my cheeks. I blush feeling so enlivened as my heart was flustered.
I folded my arms and rolled to face him. My hands reach for his neck as I took out the apron on him and kissed his lips.
"Just learn from the boss" I whispered and he scoffed.
"I'd try" he replied as we both leaned our head. However, his facial expression changed.
It was as though fear stayed in, anxiousness and confusion dwells.
His arms shook and I was lost in his sad stare.
"Aria, I have something to say" he mutters swallowing hard as we exchanged breath.
"Go on" i answered as my heartbeats fast.
He seems to be contemplating if to speak as his eyes searches mine.
However, as he gasped, his phone beeps.
He shut his eyes and release his grip on my waist while stepping backward.
"I have to go, duty calls"
I had a feeling that wasn't what he intended to say as he was referring to the phone beeps.
I was disappointed though. I wouldn't be having him for a while.
"But you haven't rested for the night" I countered with a frowning and trying to stop him.
He grins at me and said;
"Don't miss me too much, I'm a busy man Aria" he beckons as he pace closer to where his phone was.
He left a text message and then threw his face at me.
"Get some rest Aria, I'd be gone for a while"
I hate it when he says that, his while feels like forever and his voice becomes cold and his face so serious like he wasn't the one acting all childish a while ago.
How can I when he wouldn't be around to keep me company? Not even the maids can replace his absence.
I wonder what job that was that changes his mood entirely. Nevertheless, he'd come back and I will wait.
Ravyen folded his lips as I was embittered, we stared at each other, I was curious but he was scared, afraid of something.
"I'd be carrying some of your dishes along" he said waving
his hands at me and I smiled.
He tried to cheer me up but I was saddened at heart.
I bide him goodbye and standing at that spot, I watch him fade away from my eyes.
It's been a week now, I didn't get to learn of what business trip he went on this time around, what evidence he found about my mom, how we got to escape the cops and why he never picks my calls.
He always sends a message every morning, more like a motivation and I knew he was the one who needs these motivations.
In turn, I reply with an encouragement, everything would be fine but maybe not because it is a fake relationship to begin with.
Out of boredom, I decided to walk around the house as always but never get to the basement.
I was willing to give a try besides, he's never gonna know. Without a second thought, I stride towards the basement.
The door was different, unlike any other and it must be a secret. It was quite interesting as I love such creepy scenerio.
Fortunately for me, it was unlocked and I stride inside. Here felt like a gallery, a place filled with memories.
It was neat and orderly. Then I saw her. Her look, her face sent goosebumps inside me and I was terrified.
She looks so beautiful but then something was bizzare, she looked just like me!
This was me. I was amazed by the perfection that I couldn't help but I stare.
I stared strangely at images hung on the wall. I could tell she was someone important to him but what happened to her?
A bit of jealousy flushes inside me, just like I felt when that receptionist flirts with him.
I scoffed recalling his response to her. I would have burnt her alive. It was so difficult to get over the fact that he wasn't mine.
It was amazing but then I was anxious. She must be the woman.
Perhaps, the reason he wanted this relationship, either to get over her, to make her jealous or because...I look like her!
Gush of emotions flushes through me. She must be Bianca, I recall he sometimes mistook me for that name.
He sure hasn't gotten over her. I felt heartbroken, cold and lone. Once again, a queer feeling filled me up.
He would leave me.
"Arianna!!!"
A husky voice called and I shuddered, shaken to my knees. I knew who it was, he was back. I rolled my eyes to look at the man away for three weeks.
The tone was his voice entails rage.
Oddly enough, I was greeted by his angry face. It was never before.
His seething resentment finally reached a boiling point.
Hastily, before i could move from where I stood, he grappled my arm and dragged me out from the basement.
He fumes like plumes of incandescent liquid rock. To my consternation his actions were cruel as that endearment, amity, passion wasn't there.
It was replaced by detachment. He has become a ferocious beast.
He harshly shoved me to face him like an empty vessel.
"What did I tell you about coming down here!' he barked. It seems something must have provoked him before coming down here.
However, my speculations was wrong, he was freaking out because I came down here.
