Arianna's POV
I shook my head, trying to take the scene that occured out of my mind. I was home now and I'd blame it on Kylian for abandoning me.
"Arianna?" I jerked up and blinked twice while striding my eyes forward, it was kylian stretching a mug of coffee to me.
Here I was, at the porch with him as he kept questioning me what went wrong and why I was cold.
Earlier, I had left that strangers house and board a cab back home. I didn't even have time to change from his nightwear because I couldn't stand the chance of him.
Fortunately, I didn't meet kylian and so I freshen up and sat at the porch waiting for him to return.
He was sitting beside me, on his phone as always and had placed the coffee back on the mini table.
"Why did you leave me there?" I questioned in a sober tone, hating him already.
He steadily threw his face at me, and then ducked his head.
"You texted me you'd be spending the night at a suite" he quickly responded and I shut my eyes for a moment.
"Seriously kylian? You should have checked on me..."
"Wooo, Aria, the last time I questioned your movement, you almost chopped my head off and besides I've got a tracker on you" he defended himself and then i widened my eyes at him.
So it clearly means he knew where I was. Did he see me with that stranger?
"Why do you look as though you committed a crime? Your GSP shows a save location and I checked up on you" he added, returning his gaze at the phone.
I tightened my eyes, grabbed his collar and shoved his face at me.
"Ravyen mustn't know"
"That you fucked a man or what"
I gasped letting go of his collar and shaking. Why does kylian always know when I'm having sex?
He scoffed at me and said;
"I'm just pulling your legs, I didn't check on you, I was lazy to do that..."
There was a pause in that line as I gulp hard, rubbing my head and trying to keep calm.
"Uhmm, ravyen has been calling and he feels as though you've totally ghosted him" he snapped and I wheeze out air.
I know kylian would come up with a good excuse that I was busy with work. That's what he always do.
"How about we pay him a surprise visit?"
Kylian shrugged his shoulders, any decision I make is up to me and he is abide by it.
"At least pick up his calls, he's throwing tantrums on me, like I'm at fault"
I folded my lips, nervous and then let out a deep sigh. It's time to just hear him once.
Kylian left me as he seems stressed and wanted me to have a private chat with ravyen.
I had to compose myself, scan my face and neck if there was a hickey and when there was none, I dailed his contact.
Well, he'd prefer a video call. It felt like a revenge when I called once but there was no response.
It was on the second call that he replied with a grumpy look.
"At long last, the goddess decided to look at me with pity" he said in a poetic tone.
His face wearing a frown. I just didn't know what excuse to make.
"I'm sorry I didn't call" I muttered staring plainly into his eyes. I miss him so much.
"Yeah, it's okay, it work I believe" he said dryly and then chuckled.
I chuckled back as he made a funny gesture.
"There's someone at your pavement, I sent him to you"
I fluttered my eyes and then feeling tensed. That statement made me mousey as I couldn't rise from where I sat.
"Hey, just check it out, don't keep him waiting" he whispers with a broad smile and placing a cute face.
I hate surprises, not after what happened last night. What if it were the stranger? I hate such moments.
However, I just have to see for myself. Nervously, I stood up from where I sat and paced towards the pavement.
I paused for a moment, my heart flustered as tears brew up in my eyes.
My world paused for a moment as I shuddered, my breath almost ceased and I didn't know how to feel.
There he was, with gifts and pleasantries. He wasn't alone but he had delivery personnels with him and one of them held a cake.
It can't be true right? His bright face let out a smile. Why didn't I think so, he was right here, live and not in a video.
The whole background, I didn't picture it because I was enthralled by his look.
He terminated the call and took the cake from the courier beside. It was so big and would feed the neighbors.
"Happy birthday my love" he sang. I raced closer to him and he quickly handed the cake to the courier.
Once I was closer enough, I jumped on him as he embraced me, swiveling with me around and I kissed him.
"I don't want to seem desperate but I just don't want to miss this special day of your life" he teases and I blushed folding my lips.
"Thanks for coming ravyen!" I screamed, kissing him all over his face.
With him around, i'd forget everything that bothers me, I'd find the peace I've been missing for a while.
"Oh love, I can't wait to rip this dress out" he seductively mutters, kissing me ardently on the lips.
When he terminated the kiss, I sucked my breath and exhaled deeply, short of words and just wanting his voice to fill my head.
"And I can't wait to bring that bad boy out of you alive" I responded running my fingers into his hair as he groan softly in my ear.
I brush the tip of his nose as he carried me in his arms, while the couriers walked behind him with the gifts and presents.
