Chapter 153 There he was
Arianna's POV
I knew he'd come for such a show, to keep track of me, so mot wanting to miss my chance with him, I followed him down to a mansion but unfortunately, I got knocked out.
I didn't know how long I've been knocked out, but when I opened my blurry eyes, I was seated somewhere.
I could see big florescent lights like the sun hung up, fragrances of different kind lingering in the room, unnatural cold sticking on one's skin.
There were some make-up artist I guess, dressing up some crews to look like the character they depict.
It dawn to me that I was in a studio and possessed a character.
My eyes were drowsy and I fought hard to keep awake, I couldn't even move a step forward because I was glue to a spot.
I could still feel the presence of this stranger behind me.
A young girl raced towards me and handed me a bottle water which I ditched to the ground.
Everything was confusing and I felt like suffocating.
She gave me a surprise look and then began to massage my hands, panicking.
Her eyes weren't looking at me directly as she looked so nervous.
"Hey relax, I know you're nervous acting with a superstar, gosh! This is awesome, dream come true" her feminine voice explained.
The way she behaved got me irritated that I felt like tearing her apart. I hated the scenerio and this was the worst place to be.
Curiously, I narrowed my eyes at the people in front of me, they were showing me scripts in their hands, speaking gibberish and telling me if I understood what I was saying.
"Come on, it wasn't time for a kiss! The director would soon be here" a voice snarls. Shit! What the fuck is going on?
I took a glimpse at who spoke. It was an old man who was wearing a head phone and sitting besides the camera.
I was perturbed, at how rowdy the place was as all were concentrated on me.
I didn't get a chance to know who that strange.man was that stole a kiss from me when I was about to get a hold of him.
It felt as if he kissed me purposely just to hinder me. Hastily, I jostle through these people attempting to find a way out of this place.
Howbeit, it got me puzzled as I kept bumping through more and more people who obstructed my path.
They were looking at me like an alien as my action shows I was perplexed.
To worsen it, that girl kept following me and calling me a different name.
However, I suddenly halt when I heard a name that made me shudder.
A name that caused my misery, a name that made me commit my first murder, a name that boils me inside, a name that made my heart skip.
I turned my face slowly to take a look. I could sense that every eyes were on him, eager to know who they were referring to and my eyes found him.
There he was, piccolo.
He was a distance away, crowded by the people here. They shove their focus from me to him. He was attention seeking, I must confess.
The young ladies complimented his features and arrogant attitude that was enticing but from afar.
I could perceive how people shook with fear around him. They dare not stare at him in the eye.
It was difficult to see him but I knew he was the one, I felt his presence.
I was lucky enough to take a glimpse of his face before he was enveloped by the people.
Our eyes crossed path and I could see a sided smile lingering around his lips.
He must have recognized me and gave me a gesture that I was under his jurisdiction.
The people here called him director, he must have returned after destroying my home.
Here, he played the king but he was just a mere wolf with no powers in the wolverine society.
He was alluring, polished and maintained a stern gaze. Handsome was an understatement.
His voice never changes. His styles were tushy. He was just the perfect prince charming. This man wasn't my mate but I made him mine.
I folded my fist and swallowed hard. It was now I finished him and settle all scores.
My head had already imagined how I would bounce on him, devour him and crush his bones between my teeth.
If only these humans knew he was a lycan wolf living among them. However, he had managed to create fear in them.
Tears of agony stream down my eyes, they spoke of anger, pain, disdain and hate.
It gladdens me that I got to meet him unguarded. I cursed him in my heart and drew closer to where he stood.
Sadly, I couldn't see him because he was backing the crowd and muttering some words to the producers.
Subconsciously, I let out my claws, my fangs plunge out as I stride hastily.
It only took an inch to be at a close proximity to him when someone suddenly pulled me to a room in this studio and slam the door.
I noted that it was the stranger, the man who stole a kiss from me. His presence always interrupted with my thoughts.
This was the second time he was stopping me from harming someone.
My back rested lazily on the door, his right arm arched above my head, and he was breathing hard as though petrified.
I fluttered my eyes as I became speechless.
This place was a closet having a couch, large mirror and make-up items. This strange man had a way of keeping me calm and jinxed.
I could see him clearly. He wasn’t a male model but he should have been.
The lush, mother black hair he groomed so carefully had a rippling quality, a sign of his rude health.
His only blemish was that he was beetle-browed and they sometimes knitted in frustration.
Flamboyant of character. He was also quick to crack a joke or fire off a humorous retort. I noticed that while I was in the studio.
His rakish clothes were a source of amusement to me, not least because they emanated an herbal smel.
lHe seemed moulded from a different cast as he had an androgynous look uncommon to most people.
Lacquered and enamelled by the sun, he radiated energy and brio. His mountain peak cheekbones appeared chiselled into shape by a master craftsman.
They were of such sharp contours, it looked as if they were sculpted and pared to perfection.
With eyes as bright and spellbinding as lode stars, they bewitched all those who fell under his steady gaze.
At last, I sensed my silent self and then a dog beside me whimpers.
She narrowed her eyes, her muzzle quivering at him while her fur slightly erect. I knew she was anxious about this man.
His eyes searching mine as though piercing my soul to get an answer.
His left arm was around my waist as he glanced to and fro. My breath ceased as I was finding difficult to focus.
"What the fuck! You almost got screwed!" He barked letting go of my waist and stayed a distance from me.
I was startled at his words, it could only mean he knew I wasn't human and tried to protect me from revealing myself.
He made me curious to know him, perhaps, he was my watchman here. I need to get to Ravyen.
I wasn't liking the situation here. From what I can tell, I just happened to be an actress and this was plotted by Ivan.
He made me look like an actress and I felt like a fool, but then it turns out he's the director or whatsoever.
I walked pass him as I figured out that he could be of some help to me since he knew i was after him.
I wouldn't hurt him yet until I was done getting revenge on my sworn enemy.
Hurriedly, I paced towards a mirror close by and then gasped at my face, I was looking different.
However, I was that shocked as this was a chance for me.
The devil already hinted me that everything about me would change if I was to get the prey.
It was a relief that he would see me as a different person and not the old weak Arianna.
He can't fool me by making me feel as though I'm in his world now.
"I want to meet the director, now!" I ordered panting softly.
He scoffs and gave me no reply. His action made me feel he ridicued my words.
I didn't know what he was doing behind my back but I knew i wouldn't like him a bit. He should be scared that I could hurt him.
"Speak!" I ordered as I gave him a glaring stare. He eyed me and walked to towards the couch, sat down and rested his head.
If I could recall, they call him Alec, a rising star probably.
It pissed me off that he was giving a rude attitude just the way I prescribe him to be.
He looked exhausted and worn out. I watched as he shut his eyes, behaving as though something troubles him.
"Hey, Aria, you aren't the star everyone wants and you can't order me around" he pointed out in a lowly tone while unbuttoning his shirt.
My eyes trailed around his chest, which was toned and spotless. Was he joking or playing according to his script?
I swallowed hard while taking my face away from him. It was best I focus on the reason I was here.
If this man was useless, I could feed on him tonight.
It wasn't time to be carried away by another man.
I search my body to find the scroll but it wasn't on me. I needed to read it and learn of the instructions.
A scoff left my lips as I pulls him back and scowl at him.
"Stop worsening the situation" i warned and hissed loudly to his ears.
