Chapter 147 I won't hurt anyone
Arianna's POV
He grinned at me and I grimanced but then smiled when ravyen gives her more baffling words about his feelings for me.
They almost made us forget about the reason for this gathering. I've got to stop them. It's not even confession night.
Oh no, our supper!
"Cute the crap, you both are weird" I responded and all eyes fell on me. They suddenly froze.
That's just the best way I could think of stopping them.
Yeah, if we remain this way, we'd end never having this super.
Naty's husband rose up from where he sat and heaves a sigh.
"She's right, I'm creeping out too" he added and everyone rolled their eyes to him.
He understands too, they've got to stop so we could prepare our supper or just end up wasting the side dishes.
I gestured that we had a supper to make and ravyen surrenders. He was making me lose my mind with that look of his.
My smile disappears as soon as I caught those eyes staring right at me unblinkingly.
He walks up to Naty and kisses her on the cheek. While Ravyen moves back.
"You were awesome love, let the kids have fun with their sibling and his wife" he says and I widened my eyes.
He knows too. That means there was no secret about our relationship. Ravyen was gesturing to me to do the same.
Perhaps cuddle him, kiss him or compliment him but I ignored him and beckons on him to join the staff.
"Just don't spend too much time with them" naty pointed out and they both smiled.
How I love this moment, having see Mom and son happy and having no beef.
"I promise you, I won't hurt anyone, my pretty Naty" ravyen replied moving to embrace her.
Her husband chuckles and rubs Ravyen's head like a kid.
She refrains from his hug and shrinks.
"Gosh I have goosebumps" she said in a friendly tone and everyone laughs.
Her husband walk her away and we were left with kids.
"Wowwww ravyen, you're a beautiful lover" Miller recorded as she looks more thrilled than I was.
"Oh please let my boyfriend say this lines to me toooooo" Mira screams enlivened.
Ravyen wears a pride and drew closer, then he threw his arms around my waist, pulling me closer.
"I don't mind going on" he confesses. He was tampering with my sanity and I just didn't know what to think.
My lips trembles as I felt timid, his warm body on mine. He just forgot there's a kid here or it just doesn't matter, I was his.
Miller and Mira gossips behind me.
"Girls, please don't be distracted..."
"But this is the time you kiss" Michael anticipated and ravyen nodded drawing his lips to mine but I pushed him away quickly.
My body was sweaty as I turned away, not wanting to see his disappointed face.
"Micheal, focus" I pointed out and ravyen grumpily moved over to the chop board.
I held my laughter as ravyen was fussing up. Miller drew closer to him, act like a solicitor.
"I'm with you bro" miller comforts and stroke his back.
"I'm here too" Mira added demonstrating that he should give it some time.
"I always have your back big bro" Micheal added holding his hand as the four stared at the ruin cabbage.
"Thank you guys, I can always count on you" ravyen played along in a doleful tone.
They were driving me insane.
"Guys! Let's start rounding up" I ordered but they ignored me and just sigh sadly.
Was this play because I was getting fed up!
"We won't move until he gives the order" miller explain and I groan.
"You know what to do Mrs Arianna" Mira snapped and ravyen gave me a naughty look.
Fuck! He was damn cute but then he's acting like a kid and I couldn't help but smile.
This was so fun. Having to meet his dramatic step siblings that matches his energy.
The two girls took a glimpse at me and then moved away from ravyen. I stride towards where he stood, acting as though he was broken.
I wrapped my arms around his waist and whispered;
"You were spectacular" i whispered and rested my head on his back.
"Please I'm hungry, can we just prepare the meal?" I added and he rolled his eyes to me.
His mood brightens as he clears his throat. He wouldn't want to feel hungry and just cut the act.
"Ladies and gentleman, we've settled" he declares and we all burst into laughter, returning to what we were doing.
The kids excited me as I could see ravyen laughing hard when he mocked miller.
Miller threw flour at him and then laugh back. Mira and I twirl our body, dancing to her raps as we exchange cooking items.
I wished this could go on for a while, to see him this happy but then, that happiness might fade away if I tell him the truth.
I gulp hard, shivering but then it was for the best, that I remain strong and not get carried away.
We were done preparing the tacos and spaghetti after an hour of disturbance.
We were lazily to eat but then Mira had the strength and we cheered her up.
Ravyen offers her some money for winning the eating contest when she's the only contestant to begin with.
It was a fun night with the kids and I was intrigued, my eyes brew up with tears of joy.
Miller had ask us how we met because we look good together and I told her ravyen, my knight saved me from my distress.
Then Mira questioned how we cope with each other. Ravyen replied that love could shape anyone to accept flaws and work on it.
Micheal was drowsy as he doesn't like the topic about relationship. He just want to listen to fairytales and ravyen was worst at it.
Micheal told him, he'd want to be an astronaut but ravyen tells him he'd be forgotten in space and die.
He changes his dreams to becoming an explorer but ravyen tells him he'd die in the jungle and he forgotten.
All his dreams that he voices out tends to have flaws and when Micheal finally says he'd want to be like him, ravyen tells him the form is closed.
The girls and I grimanced at him and I just have to give the child a positive response.
He can be anything he wants, as long as he put his heart to it. Ravyen tells him if he puts his heart to it, he might die of a heart attack.
Gosh, he was terrifying and Michael stared at him with terror in his eyes.
"So does that mean we should have no dreams?" Miller asked curiously gazing at ravyen who affirms it.
"But if you still want to try, I'd sponsor that dream" ravyen furthers and i could see their fallen crescent risen.
We chatted for a moment, talking about movies, celebrity crushes and when ravyen was asked about his celebrity crush he said;
