The Storm Unleashed

Tiffany’s POV

I stood by the window of James Peterson’s suburban house, a smile tugging at my lips as the clock ticked closer to the moment I’d orchestrated,to moment I had planned out for months now.

The money that had given me sleepless nights, is finally here.

Control, that’s what I thrived on. Every second, every gasp of fear, every beat of panic belonged to me. My men were ready, Alex at my side, his expression blank but uneasy.

Subduing James and his wife, Aurora's step mom was very easy all thanks to my body gurads.

James and his wife were tied to chairs, their faces bruised from my earlier outburst on them. Just to infuriate Aurora the more when she steps in.

“They look pathetic,” I murmured, brushing a loose strand of hair back. I crouched in front of James, gripping his jaw so hard his skin whitened. “Do you know why you’re here? Because your precious daughter thinks she can play queen of a game that I started. I wanted her attention. And today, she’ll give me all of it, today we would know if her darling Dominique cares for her.”

He spat blood at me, his eyes blazing with defiance. “ why are you doing this? Knowing fully well she's pregnant, even with all your efforts, You’ll never break her.”

I smiled wider, wiping the blood from my cheek. “She doesn’t have to break. She just has to bend, and I'll make sure she does that.”

Minutes later, footsteps echoed through the hall. My pulse quickened. Aurora had arrived.

I could hear her voice , in eady and wavering as she called out to her father.

Then door swung open, and there she was,her eyes immediately landing on her parents. Her face flickered: shock, then fury, then that fire I’d always wanted to pull from her. Perfect. Just what I needed.

That anger.

“Hello, Aurora,” I said, rising slowly. “We meet again.”

Her fists clenched. “What have you done?”

“Exactly what you forced me to,” I answered smoothly. “I wanted your attention, I wanted you to feel the pain you caused me. Now I have it. And what I want is simple: you.”

She glared at me, unshaken. “Let them go. If it’s me you want, then fine, I’ll go. But my father and stepmother walk out of here free, without any anything against them.”

I tilted my head, pretending to weigh the choice, though I’d already decided what I wanted to do. “Agreed.”

I waved, and my men loosened the ropes. James staggered forward, battered but still finding his voice.

“Aurora, don’t you dare go with her! She's a demon” he shouted.

Aurora turned to him, her eyes steady though I could see the fear she masked. “Dad, call Dominic. Tell him what happened. Tell him to come for me. But I can’t let them hurt you anymore. I don't think I can watch them hurt you.”

I laughed sharply, the sound slicing through the tension. “Dominic won’t save you this time. This game is mine now, this is far from “The Devil's territory”.”

Alex and my men grabbed her, dragging her toward the waiting black van. She looked back at her father one last time, tearful, resolute, fearless.

Then the doors slammed shut, locking her away in the darkness where she belonged.

Aurora’s POV

The ropes around my father’s wrists snapped free, and I wanted nothing more than to run into his arms, to pretend none of this was real. But Tiffany’s presence poisoned the air, suffocating every thought with danger.

“Dad, please,” I begged, forcing strength into my voice. “Call Dominic. Tell him everything. He’ll come for me, I know he will.”

“No, Aurora!” he shouted, his voice breaking. “I won’t let them take you!”

“It’s the only way,” I said firmly, though my chest ached. “You’ve already suffered enough. If it’s me Tiffany wants, then let her have me. But you, have so much to live for” My throat tightened. “You still have a life. Live it.”

Tiffany’s mocking laughter rang out behind me. “Touching. But Dominic can’t save you now, not from my shackles”

The men’s hands were rough on my arms, yanking me forward. My father’s anguished face burned into my mind as they shoved me into the van. I pressed my palms against the cold metal wall, breathing hard. This wasn’t the end, I wouldn’t let it be. Dominic would come. He had to.

And m I have to do, is wait till he comes.

James’ POV

I collapsed to my knees as the van’s engine roared and carried my daughter away. My wife sobbed beside me, but the sound barely reached my ears. The taste of blood filled my mouth, but the wound tearing me apart was inside, watching Aurora disappear into the darkness.

“James, no!” my wife screamed as I staggered to my feet. “You can’t go after them. You’ll be killed!”

“That’s my daughter in their hands!” I rasped, my voice shaking. “My first fruit. My blood. If it costs me my life to bring her back, then so be it.”

“Please…”

“No!” I snapped, though my body trembled. “I won’t stand here while Tiffany destroys her. Not again, Not under my watch.”

I stumbled out the door, pain flaring through my ribs with every step, and forced myself into the car. Each turn of the wheel burned my palms, but all I saw was Aurora, her eyes, her voice, her plea for me to call Dominic.

Minutes later, I slammed the brakes at the gates of the Blackwood Mansion. Guards surged forward, blocking me.

“Out of the way!” I roared, my throat raw. Bitter and desperate.

“Sir, you can’t just barge in ”

“Then get Dominique right now!!!” I bellowed like a crazed animal.

The commotion drew attention, and then I saw him Dominique descending the stairs, his sharp gaze locking on me, confusion flashing in his eyes.

Like he looked for answers from me.

Dominic’s POV

My gut twisted when I saw James, bloodied, desperate shoving against my guards. I’d expected Aurora to storm into my mansion, maybe with anger, maybe with demands. But this? Her father at my gates instead? Something was horribly wrong.

Something is not looking right.

“James,” I called, my voice tight, “what’s going on?”

His chest heaved as he looked up at me, his words breaking like glass. “They’ve taken her! Tiffany….Alex….they’ve taken my daughter! Tiffany is ready to do anything to win the award. ”

The world stopped. My pulse thundered in my ears, every muscle in my body locking in place.

“She told me…” James staggered forward, gripping my arm with trembling hands. “She told me to tell you… to come for her. She made me promise.”

My vision blurred red. Rage and fear tangled inside me, clawing at my chest. Tiffany had gone too far. She hadn’t just touched Aurora, she’d stolen the very heart of me.

She had touched what was untouchable

I turned sharply to my men, my voice like steel. “Mobilize. Now. Every man, every weapon, every ally. I don’t care what it costs. This is war.”

They straightened immediately, scattering to follow orders.

I clenched my fists, my teeth grinding so hard my jaw ached. Under my breath, I whispered, “She’s carrying my child. Our child. And I swear on my life, nothing, nothingb seewill happen to them.”

Gripping James’s shoulder, I forced myself to meet his tear-filled eyes. “I will bring her back. You have my word.”

Then I raised my voice, letting it echo through the mansion like thunder. “This is no longer just a fight. This is war. And I will burn the world before I let Tiffany lay another hand on Aurora or our child.”

The Blackwood mansion erupted into action. Guns were loaded. Engines roared. Men prepared.

The storm Tiffany had unleashed was about to break.
