Chapter 41 CHAPTER 041

Chapter 41 CHAPTER 041
Castiel enjoys shopping; he can spend an entire day in the mall and barely feel a twinge of tiredness in his muscles, it’s one of the few things that quiets his mind but not this.

Not when he's being forced into these so-called wedding clothes.

“Turn around,”

Castiel clicks his tongue in annoyance at the command, his hands clenching into fists at his side while his eyes drill a hole through Caspian 's face while the omega stares back with a look that dares Castiel to complain.

Castiel’s eyes narrow. He wants to argue. Fuck, he wants to argue. Wants to tear this whole place apart, rip the stupid suit off his body, and walk straight out of here without looking back and leave the fucking country but he doesn’t because he knows how this ends.

So instead, he scoffs under his breath and turns around like an obedient dog, showcasing the back of his suit that clings annoyingly to his skin.

“Hmm,” Caspian says as he taps his chin, tilting his head as he takes in every piece of the suit and then he shakes his head in disapproval. “I don't think this is the one. Stay put, I'll get something else."

And with that, he leaves, disappearing to get more suits and to put Castiel in more misery.

Castiel cusses under his breath as he turns around and starts to unbutton his shirt. He's getting out of here and no one's going to stop him, hell be damned. But that's when Castiel nostrils catch a familiar scent that makes his Omega wriggle his tail.

Castel's head jerks up and he immediately sniffs the air like a dog searching for his mate but that's when his wrist is grabbed. Castiel whips his head with a gasp halfway through his throat while his eyes widen at the sight of Theo standing there with a blank look.

“What—” Castiel starts but immediately gets cut off by Theo pressing a finger to his lips to shush him. Castiel slams his mouth shut while Theo starts to drag him along.

Castel follows without a word as he stops himself from grinning, eyes glued to the way Theo holds his hand; he doesn't even realize when they slip past Caspian and arrive at the restroom.

As soon as the door shuts, Theo lets go of his wrist as if the touch burns. Castiel stops himself from whining at the loss of contact but that doesn't stop his mouth from running.

“What are you doing here? How did you know I'm here?” He blurts out the questions as he crosses his arms over his chest but then his brows furrow when he realizes. “Did you stalk me?”

Theo doesn’t answer; instead, he just stares at him blankly and annoyingly calmly.

Castiel snorts when he doesn’t get a response. “…You did stalk me,” he says while a small grin spreads across his face and his eyes glint mischievously. “Wow. I’m flattered.”

Theo’s jaw clenches for a moment before he shoves his hands into his pocket, standing tall over Castiel, who looks smaller. “I didn’t stalk you,” comes his reply.

“Mm,” Castel hums, clearly not believing him. “So you just happened to walk into a private fitting session guarded like a prison? Very believable.”

“Your father came to the bar and he trashed the place,” Theo chimes in before he can continue ranting.

Castiel immediately stiffens at the words but his jaw locks. He should have known his father was that much of a bastard to go back on his words. Castiel carelessly runs his eyes over Theo's frame, searching but finds no injuries. “You look fine,” he comments, trying to pretend he doesn't care.

“Told me to stay away from you and threw money at my feet,” Theo continues.

Castiel scoffs. Of course, that's what the rich do; they throw money at people's faces and expect them to follow their every order. Theo hates those kinds of people and how unfortunate, Castiel falls into that category but is only less pathetic.

“Why are you here instead of doing as he says? Isn't that what you wanted? You should be happy that I won't be throwing myself at you any longer. I'll be out of your life for good; it would be like I never existed.” Castiel carelessly throws the words with a bitter taste on his tongue.

Theo steps forward, and Castiel automatically steps back till his back hits the sink while Theo's body traps him, his eyes dancing dangerously on his face, making the hair on Castiel's body rise.

“W-hat are you doing?” He stutters, unable to help the way his heart flutters or the way the Alpha pheromones seem to fill his senses despite the alpha wearing a scent blocker.

Theo’s gaze drags over every inch of the Omega’s face and his gaze lingers on his lips; this close he can see how glossy and full they are. Theo's lips curl into a smirk before he hooks a finger under the Omega's chin and lifts his face, making sure their eyes are locked on each other while the mere touch nearly sends Castiel whole body on fire as a wave of heat surges through his body.

“I don't take orders well. I don't like being told what to do."

Castiel blinks at the words, his Omega leaping in his head, knowing they have all the alpha's attention on them. Castiel might be shameless but his Omega takes the crown. “What?” He manages to choke out.

“If he wants me to stay away from you, then I'll do the exact opposite and have you for myself."

Castiel’s heart drums even harder and a yelp leaves his lips when Theo pinches the side of his left hip. His eyes widen as if they are about to pop out of his sockets while his mouth goes drier than a desert. “What?” He chokes out again; his brain short-circuits.

For a second, he genuinely thinks he misheard. “You—” he lets out a shaky laugh, but it comes out wrong and breathy. “You’ve finally lost your mind.”

Theo's lips stretch into a smirk and slowly, he leans even closer till his warm breath is fanning over Castiel’s face and the heat in his body intensifies.

“You have all my attention,” Theo says, his voice barely above a whisper but Castiel hears perfectly and the depth of his voice causes Castiel’s insides to vibrate. He swallows deeply but Theo isn't done as he moves to his ear. Castiel immediately clenches the sink, knuckles turning white as he braces himself and waits for Theo to speak.

“Isn't this what you wanted, Omega?”

Castiel’s breath catches in his throat. Holy. Shit!
