Chapter 37 CHAPTER 037
Castel has said it before; he’s not one to believe in fate and believes he is in control of his own life, so no one keeps him confined in a space unless he wants to be there. And that’s why Castel is back here to get rid of something the McLaren family holds so fucking sacred.
The wind is close against his skin, but Castel barely feels it as he walks into the familiar, cheap bar with awful taste in music and that still smells so bad, dressed in a white fur coat draped over his shoulders. He walks straight to the counter, eyes fixed on his target, who works behind the counter, completely unaware of the storm that approaches.
Castel doesn’t care about the many pairs of eyes that looked his way, and when he gets to the counter, he slams his palm hard on it, immediately gaining the alpha’s attention. Castel smirks before motioning the alpha to get closer with his finger.
Theo smiles apologetically at the other customers before approaching the omega, who once again looks out of place in this shitty bar. He scans his face for a quick second before meeting his eyes. “You’re back here,” he states, and again, Castel smirks, a glint in his eyes that screams mischief and evil as he rests his elbows on the counter and leans forward.
“What? You thought you got rid of me?”
Theo’s jaw pulls taut as he rests his palms on the counter and leans forward. He thought perhaps not seeing the omega for five days meant he had given up, but Theo obviously thought wrong. He stares at him under his lashes. “What do you want?”
Castel leans closer, their faces inches apart, and Castel gets a sniff of the alpha’s scent. “What I want is simple,” he teases, and slowly, he reaches out to grab the front of the alpha’s shirt and pulls him in. Castel moves to his ear and whispers. “I want you to fuck me."
Theo’s hands clench into fists on the counter, and his brows twitch at the words while his eyes stare deep into the omega’s eyes. Slowly, he grabs Castel’s hand and rips it from his shirt and immediately withdraws, letting go as if his skin burns.
“You’re getting more ridiculous by the moment.”
Castel sneers. He doesn’t care if he’s known as the most shameless man alive, but right now, he’s tired of begging the alpha. “Fine, if you won’t do it, I’ll find someone else to do it.”
Castel is here on a mission, and that’s to get rid of his virginity. If one alpha won’t do it, tons would die to just have a glimpse of his thigh. The mischief in his eyes grows as he looks at Theo, and without a word, he pushes himself off the counter and across the room. He marches over to the first alpha he sees.
"Hey, you? Wanna fuck in the restroom?” The words leave his lips smoothly, and the alpha’s eyes immediately glimmer with lust as he licks his lips, but suddenly, Castel’s wrist is grabbed, and he turns to meet the hardened eyes of Theo.
“What the fuck are you doing?” The alpha growls, eyes boring a hole through Castel's face in anger.
“And what does it fucking look like? Since you aren’t interested, I’m getting someone who is. You don’t get to stop me."
He tries to rip his wrist from the alpha’s grasp, but Theo only tightens his grip while his pheromones spike into something sour and venomous. “Well, you don’t get to do that in my fucking bar. If you are that horny, take it elsewhere.”
And with that, Theo starts pulling him along, heading towards the exit in long strides that Castel struggles to keep up with, but just at the exit, the door suddenly opens, and they come face to face with one of the last people Castel wants to see on earth.
Caspian McLaren, the oldest omega and heir to the McLarens' empire. And he isn't alone, as guards in black suits surround him, and it’s as if the awful music in the background dies at their entrance while conversations around the bar quiet down as heads slowly turn; even drunk men straighten in their seats to watch the scene.
Castel tilts his head, realizing Caspian looks more out of place than he does. He stands tall and composed and is dressed in a dark coat that probably costs more than the entire bar, while he looks around with calm, cold eyes before his gaze settles on the two of them.
On Theo and then on Castel.
Theo’s grip on Castel’s wrist tightens slightly while Castel goes still, the room suddenly seeming too small for all of them.
“Oh, what are you doing in a place like this, brother?” Castel mocks, eyes glinting as he continues to stare at his brother with a tilt of his head.
Caspian stares at him with an unimpressed look. “I should be the one asking that, brother? What are you doing in a place like this?”
Castel sneers from behind Theo. “Trying to get rid of my virginity, but I don’t expect you to understand since you like being a toy."
Caspian’s eyes darken. “Hold him,” he says with a motion of his hand, and the guards move, pulling Castel from Theo’s grasp and holding him aside like he’s some criminal. Caspian steps towards him and, without a word, his palm strikes hard against his cheek, earning gasps from various corners of the room. Castel tastes blood on his tongue.
Theo’s eyes twitch, and he tries to step forward, but suddenly, there are a bunch of guards holding him back.
Caspian turns to the alpha with a calm gaze. He stares at him from head to toe before meeting his eyes. “So, this is the alpha whom you chose to take what the McLaren holds dear? Father would be disappointed."
Theo’s jaw tightens as the guards hold him back, their grips firm on his arms. He doesn’t struggle, but the look in his eyes sharpens, cold and dangerous. “I didn’t touch him,” he says through gritted teeth as he shrugs the guards off him, eyes burning into their faces, daring them to lay their filthy hands on him again. He will rip their throats out of their bloody necks.
Caspian hums softly, as if considering that. “Then I apologize for my brother’s shameless behavior. You see, the McLaren has a reputation of never entering places like this or mingling with your kind of people, and we intend to keep it that way. When we do step into places like this, we make sure to burn them to the ground so as not to have a trace of our scent because the likes of you don’t deserve to get even the tiniest sniff, but this once, I will let this slide and hope there won’t be a next time. I will take my brother home now. Have a good night, Alpha Theo.”
With that, he’s leaving, walking out the door while the guards drag Castel along and Theo watches, unable to do anything but it’s good that the omega is out of here, even though it’s not done in the best way yet, Theo’s eyes darken with murderous intent while his knuckles turn white at how hard he clenches as Castel’s unhinged eyes stay stuck in his head.
Rich people are nothing but trouble.
