Without saying any words to his right hand man she was able to hand off his wife to him and provide cover for them to exit on the side door where he would join them soon.
Without any shadow of a doubt Daisy was utterly stunned and scared from all the shooting and the bodies that dropped from the bullets.
She could not understand how fast the night changed like it did, it was peaceful and everybody was enjoying their time and then just like that with a blink of an eye everything went to hell.
She stayed close to the bodyguards that surrounded her trying to get her to the vehicle without getting hurt.
There was a split second inside of her mind that maybe she could Escape from all of this and maybe head back to her family but she decided against it on going back to her family.
But that though remained inside of her head for a good couple of minutes seeing if that she could Escape and leave everybody behind and start a life on her own but right now this moment she is very stuck.
The bodyguards stayed close to Daisy as they fired at everybody that posed a threat. It seems like if things are going to plan, like that they would be okay but things took a turn for the worst.
The Bodyguard that's surrounded her we're not the best. Slowly but surely they were dropping down like flies from the bullets only leaving the right hand man and Daisy alone. Daisy felt that this was going to go very wrong very fast.
Daisy was pushed back behind a car from the right hand man of her husband as he put his gun back into his holster ready to fight anyone that came in the direction.
Daisy did wonder where Lazarus was, he should have definitely found a way out of the building but she cannot see him at all in the whole chaos of the night.
She felt very helpless at this moment but also she felt very scared because deep down she did not know what was going to happen.
This was definitely not the life that she wanted for herself, she had to watch as these men fought tooth and nail for some reason that she would never fully understand about the mafia and the rules that they go through.
Daisy closed her eyes trying to get her bearings under control as she stayed hidden behind the car. She did believe that she was safe for the meantime but she was completely wrong on that fact.
Her eyes snapped open when somebody grabbed her arms and twisted them behind her back in a very painful way.
She is able to see that the men that grabbed her were unknown to her and she saw her husband's right hand man still fighting but he looked battered and he was bleeding.
The unknown men that had a hold of her were pulling her away from the building as fast as they could before Lazarus knew what was happening.
The men were able to get to a van that was parked relatively far away from the building they were trying to put daisy inside of it but Daisy fought which was unexpected for them.
They did not expect for her to fight on that matter and for her to be so strong for the little frame she had. Fighting was able to give Lazarus enough time to get to her and take care of the unknown men.
The unknown men were growing frustrated with her so they thought to rough her up a little bit to get her inside of the van, but that was very horrible when Lazarus was able to get one of them down with his gun quickly.
Lazarus shot at least two of the men that were standing outside of the van and wounded the others. Lazarus wanted them to be alive so he could get the information that he wanted but also to make them pay for hurting his wife and trying to take his wife.
Everything seemed to be fine when the unknown men were taken care of, as they were rolling around in pain from the bullets that Lazarus gave.
Lazarus went over to Daisy helping her stand and so for Lazarus he could look at her face and check her injuries to see if she was okay.
He was very close to losing her and that scared him deeply. Their little moment came to an end when somebody cheap shot Lazarus in the face by a punch.
But that did not knock Lazarus off of his feet, he turned to look to see who did that seeing that it was another man most likely an enemy. Without taking his eyes off the man he pushed Daisy slightly behind him to protect her at all costs, and he watched as the man pulled out a knife.
Lazarus slightly smiled at that, then Lazarus with a quickness pulled out his gun and fired his guns, getting a man right in between his eyes. Lazarus took a breath in and turned around to see Daisy closing her eyes very tightly and having her hands over her ears.
Lazarus made his way up to her embracing her into his arms to try to give her some comfort especially with what happened with the events. In the distance Daisy could still hear but let's go off but what caught her off guard was something touching her skin, she looked down to see that it was blood and then she looked back up at Lazarus where she was able to see that he was shot.
She was able to see that it did not bother him at all that he was still very conscious. She definitely cannot understand this man at all. He was still standing, Lazarus kept his arms around Daisy and as they walked back carefully to the vehicles.
But once again trouble came their way, more of the enemies came their Direction, Lazarus is not going to give up. He was going to make sure that his wife stays protected at all costs and besides his men are right behind him so he had no fear in that department.
Daisy -
Sitting in this uncomfortable chair looking at my husband that is in the hospital bed where machines surrounded him. Hearing the noises of the machines telling me that Lazarus is still alive, but he is desperately hurt.
Out of everything that I've been through I did not think that what happened earlier tonight was going to happen at all.
It was something that I was not expecting to happen but also I think Lazarus as well did not think it would happen either. I guess he was surprised at how everything happened.
After it was all done meeting that it was all cleaned up Lazarus finally collapsed, he collapsed on me from the loss of blood from the injuries he sustained from the most chaos of all nights I've ever seen.
His men grabbed a hold of him and pushed me inside of the car as we went to the hospital. So as of right now after 2 hours ago he was finally out of surgery for injuries that he got.
The doctor did tell me that everything is fine and that he is stable but he will need his rest for his wounds to heal correctly.
I knew that he was out and that it would take some time for him to wake up and I thought to myself that I can use this time to escape.
Make up a lie to the bodyguards where they would believe it and I can just run but in those moments, in this moment right now I think I finally realized like truly realize that he is the only one I have now.
He is the only one that will be there for me, he already is there for me. My family is no longer my family anymore.
They threw me away like trash to make a deal for peace without any consideration for me. Lazarus is my family now, he was there for me, he came for me even if he didn't want to.
I got up from my chair going to the door seeing that the door was heavily protected by the bodyguards, our bodyguards.
" I would like to head home to change" I said
" Of Course Ma'am" one of the bodyguards spoke up
Five bodyguards went with me as we headed back to the home. I desperately wanted to shower because I was filthy and I had lazarus's blood on me.
We reached home in a matter of minutes, I automatically went up to the bedroom heading into the bathroom to start the shower.
When I made sure the water was nice and warm I got in there to enjoy the hot shower trying to have a moment to myself to just think.
I think I spent about an hour inside of the shower before exiting the bathroom completely. I made my way to the closest to pick out some fresh clothes depending on if I should choose pajamas or casual clothes.
