Chapter 70: Trending

Amelia kept smiling as she strode along the side road with Liam who couldn't help but smile at her flushed face. She was smiling and blushing all the way.

" Thank you so much, for today",

"Hm. Wanna get something to eat?",

" huh? something like what we ate together last time?",

" No, we are eating something better", he said. She chuckled anticipating what the meal would taste like, she hopped excitedly as they walked into the restaurant and then found a spot to sit before placing an order.

Lora and Isabella followed Rafal into a building, they had no idea what he was doing but were just following his lead. Rafal on the other hand has no idea what sort of world they are in and invading the planet made him weak and unable to use his powers to the fullest but that doesn't mean they are gone. The building they walked into was a convenience store, they kept looking around for something to eat when they heard a male voice say,

" Good afternoon...", he greeted staring at them weirdly because of the way they were dressed and acting.

" Afternoon human", Rafal greeted raising his palms,

" Are you guys some artists?",

" We are not obligated to answer you, are we?", Lora replied getting angry as she was already feeling so hungry.

" I'm sorry, how may I help you then?", he asked still standing behind his counter while he also monitored other buyers that walked in.

" We need to get something to eat",

" ho, I can help you with that", he said and finally got out and walked towards them. He began to pick out several snacks showing the junks to them.

" I have several snacks here so you can buy anyone you want, here's shortbread, Smarties, Biscuit, flapjack, potato chips and if it's sausage rolls here's it", he said and he picked one out. Isabella and Lora immediately began to pick the snacks in multiple choices depending on their preference. They had no idea how it tastes but they are too hungry and exhausted to care about that. When they were done picking they turned to leave but the sales guy immediately stopped them.

" Hey! Hey!", he chuckled in confusion, " what are you guys doing",

" Going out", Rafal answered,

" You haven't pay",

" Pay? Pay for what?",

" for what you bought",

" How do we pay?", Lora asked impatiently, she doesn't joke with food so she just wants to pay and leave, not like she has money or knows what money is.

" Are you guys kidding me?", the sales guy said getting impatient, " you pay with money and you can't leave here without paying", he said.

" what's money?", Lora asked causing the guy to snort.

" I'm not here to waste my time dealing with weird people, come back and buy whatever you want when you know what money is", he said and made to collect their snacks but Rafal was fast to grab his wrist before he got to touch them.

This time they had drawn attention to themselves which Rafal care less about, people were whispering about how weird they looked and behaved.

" Sorry human, but no one gets to touch my food, not by a lowlife".

The guy laughed in mockery, " Lowlife? your food? says the guy who reeks of poverty, it's better you hand over the snacks now before I call the cops on you",

" I don't care about whoever you are calling, but don't you...",

" Cut the bullshit and give them back", he cut him short rudely getting impatient to attend to other customers but what he said pissed Rafal and he began to squeeze his wrist tighter causing him to cry out.

Everyone was watching as he kept squeezing and bending the wrist backward making the sales guy beg for mercy and crying for help. Some people already brought out their phones to capture and video the moment while a man who was so pissed at Rafal's rudeness walked up to defend the sales guy.

" Let go of him you shithead", he said but on getting to his side, Rafal hit him so hard, sending him off his feet and watching him fly away, hitting the shelf and falling on his face. Everyone gasped at such strength while some customers who got more furious stepped forward.

It's either some are sent flying in the air or some sustain broken bones with just a punch. He could have caused more harm to them but because he still feels so weak which is why the victims are still alive and not dead. Those who are doing the video also sustained some bruises, he angrily damaged the gadget they were holding up to his face cause he felt disrespected by it and after he was done dealing with them, he dusted his dress and walked out like nothing had happened inside the convenient store. Isabella feels less concerned about what happened but Lora is worried and she keeps looking back concerned about the injured citizens. What they didn't know was that the gadget the humans were pulling up to their faces was what they used to cast them to the world as some of them were doing live video so even after he crashed their phones his video was already going viral online.

The trending video soon reached a desperate man in the movie industry, he watched the video with keen interest, a renewal of hope, a feeling of joy, and anticipation of a dream coming true. He took note of the man beating up some group of people in an unfazed manner, his speed and agility were extraordinary and it looked so real like it wasn't edited but of course, he believed the video was edited and no one would be that strong. He believed whoever this person was, he was the actor he needed at the moment, he needed to bring back his industry to one of the first five Hollywood best industries, and this unknown man seemed to be the perfect key to that.
