Alexander thought the terms he offered were good enough and tempting enough, but to his surprise, Charlotte let out a cold snort after hearing them: "Want to wipe the slate clean? Sure, then trade it for a divorce."
"But this time, I won't leave with nothing."
Before Alexander could respond, Sabrina grew anxious: "Charlotte, how can you go back on your word?"
Charlotte gave Sabrina a cold glance, her eyes as cold as ice, as if they could freeze her heart in an instant.
Sabrina couldn't help but shiver.
Charlotte saw this and smiled contemptuously: "Me, going back on my word? Three days ago, the person who agreed to the divorce but then refused to go through with the divorce procedures wasn't me."

"Charlotte..." Sabrina's face turned pale, and her delicate body swayed.
Alexander originally felt that Sabrina shouldn't get involved, but seeing her looking so fragile and vulnerable, his heart softened: "Charlotte, Sabrina means well. Why do you have to be so aggressive?"

With that, Charlotte pulled Philip along and stepped into the vehicle Landon had arranged for them.

Just then, Alexander's phone rang.
As soon as he answered, Calvin cried for help: "Alexander, help! My dad's going to beat me to death!"
Alexander's expression changed: "What happened?"
Calvin was the only son of the Wallace Family, usually spoiled and indulged by everyone at home.

Sabrina's words were full of concern, but her face showed a confident smile: "I just thought it through carefully for you. There's a way to make her back down."
