"SURPRISE!!!" We yelled as Luke entered the party.

His eyes widened before he jumped making us all laugh.

"Happy birthday LUKE!!" I yelled jumping on him and hugging him.

"Happy birthday bro!"

"Happy birthday brother".

"You sneaky bitches! That's what you've been hiding!" He said as we laughed.

"Actually, your family is here too" Theo said.

"Shit".

"Language kiddo" his father appeared as Luke's eyes widened.

"Happy birthday son!”

His family hugged him and wished him a happy birthday.

"What is she doing here" Luke's sister, Hannah, asked looking at Sienna.

So, I guess everyone knows about them.

"Don't even start" Theo said.

"I was surprised when I saw her".

"Believe me everyone was" Savannah said.

Luke's aunt came out holding a cake as everyone sang.

"Happy birthday to Lucas" we ended the song.

"Thank you everyone" Luke said Before music started playing.

"Oh god, I bet I won't be able to walk tomorrow from all of the dancing" Savannah said as I laughed.

"birthday boy come on" Marcus said before pulling him and Sav to the dance floor where people were already dancing.

I took a seat on one of the bar stools.

"What can I get for you?”

"Water please?”

"Water?" He asked.

"Yes water".

"Okay?”

He placed the water in front of me.

"Hey" Axel said taking a seat on a chair next to me.

"Hi".

"what are you doing here alone?”

"I don't know".

"is something wrong Mel?" He asked as I shook my head.

yes everything was wrong.

"No nothing" I said as we stayed quiet.

"She is nice".

"Who?" Axel said confused.

"Sienna" I said.

"she is" he agreed.

"Well, I'll go and join them" I said as I walked away from him.

"Whatever you're doing is it because of what he said?" Marcus said appearing in front of me.

"What? I'm not doing anything" I said.

"You're sitting alone, not dancing, doing nothing" he said.

"Okay and?”

"Mel I know you" he said "you're thinking about what he said and it's wrong".

"look you're thinking about it" Marcus said "come on let go out for a walk".

I nodded before we both got out of the party and walked.

"you know Stefan wasn't wrong, he is right".

"he's not Mel".

"Everyone left, I lost my parents. I lost my whole family. I have no one left".

"But you might leave".

"I won't, I promise you. I don't know about Theo, Lucas, and Axel but me and Savannah won't. We see you as a family, you're our best friend and we care about you, come here".

he pulled me into a comfy hug "we're here for you".

"I love you too, nothing he said is true" he said "now will you please dance with us when we get inside?”

"I hate dancing!”

"Liar, I don't know who dances and singes loudly whenever where in your room or sav's".

"okay I don't but not in front of everyone".

"It's a party bitch!!! Come on" he held my hand then ran in pulling with him.

"hey kids did you all have fun?" Renee said as soon as we entered the house the next morning.

we all stayed over at Marcus's because it was late, and his family insisted.

she stayed too.

Marcus's sister gave us everything we needed, so we were all clean.

"yeah it was amazing" Savannah said.

What's wrong with her all smile and happy.

"And happy birthday Lucas" she smiled approaching him and giving him a hug.

"Thanks Renee" he said with a smile.

"Renee?" Sienna said as she entered the living room making her eyes go wide.

"Sienna! Darling! What a pleasant surprise! What are you doing here?" Renee asked.

"I'm great actually, how about you?”

"I've been good" Sienna said.

"That's quite a surprise, all you both back together of something?" She asked and I saw her take a glance at me.

"Madre" Axel said as he rolled his eyes.

"I'll be in my room" I said.

"she lives here?" Sienna asked with a surprised tone.

"Just for now" I said.

"What? For now?" I heard Axel say to my friends confused.

Savannah was laughing behind me before we both entered my room.

"the fact that he didn't deny it, stings" I said throwing myself onto the bed.

"I just don't get why she's back now! Specifically, now, when things were starting to happen" I said.

"I saw how close you both got to each other. Sneaking into each other's rooms. Sharing his things with you when he never does with anyone. And whenever you ask him something he accepts and does it in a matter of seconds".

"I like Sienna, she's a sweet girl but she left him. there's no excuse for her to come back now. But it's like when Axel haves you around, he's different. He laughs and smiles even acts in a nicer way.

she changed him to the worse and now you're returning him back, but she might not let you. if you feel something for him, don't let him go because you'd regret it for your whole life".

"I...I just don't know if he feels the same way Renee. He completely ignored me yesterday, he was mad when he saw her at first but then the second she was on our table, he spends the whole night with her".

"I will thank you" I said as she smiled before placing a kiss to the top of my head.

"your mother might not be here but I'm here, if you need anything just let me know".

"Thank you" I smiled before she left the room.

I closed my mouth.

"we had a thing from a while but yesterday we did it" she said as my eyes widened.

We were having dinner in the kitchen, thankfully Sienna left a while ago.

"aren't you going to steal my fries?" Axel spoke.

"who else would steal my food?" He said.

"No, I was just confused, I don't think you've spoke to me since yesterday".

"Yeah nothing is going on except for the fact that you forget about us all and especially her after seeing your ex-girlfriend" Marcus said angrily.

"Wow is this all about Sienna?" He asked.

"Nothing is about anything" I said.

"I fucking hate you so much right now Axel, so much. Because you left her alone! You fucking let her leave the table alone knowing that he was there—" Savannah started but I shut her out.

"Wow you forgot already" Lucas said.

"Please don't fight, please. Lucas Theo he's your best friend. Don't say anything. I don't want to even talk about anything anymore".

"Amelia who was there?" Axel asked.

"if you were focused in the wedding then you would've known".

"Amelia who the Fuck was there?”

"Stefan!" I said in a yell "Stefan was fucking there!”

"Did he do something?" Axel asked, "has he done something??" He held my hand stopping me from going anywhere.

"Axel leave me fucking alone!" I yelled.

"Didn't you say that you'll be the one to look after her after we saw Stefan?! Where were you when he filled her mind with some unbelievable stuff that she believes now?! Where were you when he said that if he kidnapped her now then no one would know?" Marcus said.

I saw Axel's eyes turn dark, his hands balling into fists.

"He did that?" He asked angrily.

"Where were you Axel? Tell me! Where? With fucking Sienna! You should've have agreed if you couldn't look after her" Savannah.

"I don't need anyone to look after me".

"We all know what would've happened if Luke wasn't there. So, you owe it to Luke, Axel. If anything happened, the blame would've been on you." Theo said.

"Bro, Theo agreed on looking after Sav and I told you I'll look after Mel since you were busy with Sienna, but you said told me that you'll do. I swear anything could've happened to her. The things he was saying and the way he was saying it".

"Guys just stop, please just stop. I need to go out" I said turning to walk away before a hand caught mine stopping me.

"I-I'm..." Axel started.

"—Save it for yourself," I said, pulling my hand out of his grasp and walking away.

"Mel," he called, but I ignored him.

they keep acting as if I'm made of glass and that they're scared that it could break at any time.

I was broken and I had been through a lot, but I wasn't showing that to them..

I don't need any pity from anyone.
