Chapter 65:

Chapter 65:
Ezmeralda POV:

When I opened my eyes I heard a knock at the door. I jumped out of bed and swung the door open to see a smiling Sally.

“Good morning. I hope I am not disturbing.” Sally said.

“Of course not, come in.” I smiled. I turned to see Ash was sitting up in the bed smiling at us.

“Did you sleep well?” I asked. There was something different about her. I could feel a pull.

“I did. I dreamt of so many horses and also Sienna. She is a nice woman.” Sally replied.

“She said that she would be. She is really nice. We enjoy getting to be around her.” I smiled.

“I can see why. She told me that when I woke up I was to find you and Natalie so that Natalie can see in my head? Not even sure I know what that means.” Sally said.

“Why would Natalie need to get inside your head?” Ash asked.

“To see what Sienna did to me. It's a good thing I promise.” Sally smiled. I tilted my head to the side and studied her for a moment. I noticed she was doing the same thing with me.

“Alright, we can go and find her. Let me get dressed and I need to fill you in on my dream last night.” I said as I stood to my feet.

“I’m already here. Sienna said I needed to find the both of you but didn’t say why.” Natalie shrugged. She was still in her pajamas and I couldn’t help but laugh.

“You need to jump in Sallys head so that we can see what she did to her.” I replied.

“That’s not strange at all.” Natalie muttered.

“Will it hurt?” Sally asked, moving back a little bit.

“Not at all, take a deep breath and remember what she wanted us to see. It’ll be easier so we don’t have to go hunting for it.” Natalie smiled. I rested my hand on Natalies shoulder and the moment I closed my eyes I was sucked into Sallys dream.

She was sitting in a large grass field with a lot of horses that surrounded her. She looked blissful and at peace.

“Oh! Here she comes!” Sally giggled.

“Let’s listen in.” I whispered moving as close as I possibly could.

“May I join you?” Sienna asked. Sally tenses a little bit but relaxed at the sight of her.

“Um, sure! I’m just watching the horses.” Sally smiled.

“I know, I am Sienna.” Sienna chuckled. Sallys face scrunched together until she realized who she was.

“You are the moon goddess.” Sally whispered. She started brushing her hair to the back and fixing her shirt.

“Oh stop fussing, you look beautiful.” Sienna laughed.

“Did I do something wrong?” Sally asked. I could see the panic on her face for a moment.

“Not at all sweet girl, I am here to help you actually. I know Ezmeralda gave you something to form this dream, she also spelled it to make sure you got the rest you needed.” Sienna replied.

“That was kind of her. I like her.. “ Sally whispered. I couldn’t help the smile that came to my face.

“She likes you too. You will learn Ezie is a very kind woman. A strong woman and she will go to the ends of the earth to keep you safe.” Sienna replied. My heart warmed at the compliment, and she was right I absolutely would.

“I am here to assure you that you will never have nightmares again. You will know what happened though, I can’t alter your memories.” Sienne added.

“Thank you.. That is so kind of you. Do you usually help those who aren’t your children?” Sally asked.

“I help those who I deem worthy. You might be human but you are so much more than that.” Sienna replied.

“What do you mean?” I questioned.

“I am going to do something I have never done before if you accept that is.” Sienna smiled.

“The black witches took you for a specific reason. I am going to even the playing field by turning you into a dark witch but not just any dark witch. You will be able to see auras. Vampires will be red, dark witches will be green, white witches will be white, black witches will be black and humans will be blue or pink depending on the gender.” Sienna added.

I was shocked.. She wanted to turn her into a dark witch, that is something that has never been done before and she would be able to know who is who.

“It will help Ezmeralda?” Sally asked.

“It will help them all. If a witch kills an innocent, it takes a piece of their soul and they could turn into a black witch. This will save a lot of them.” Sienna replied.

“Then I’ll do it. How do we do it?” Sally asked.

“It’s already done. When you wake up, find Ezmeralda and Natalie. Allow Natalie to see in your head and you can show them what I have done.” Sienna smiled.

In a flash we were back in the room and I stood shell shocked staring at Sally. Her little face turned bright red as she smiled.

“She gifted you.. That is incredible!” I said beaming.

“You can see our auras? What do we really look like?” Natalie asked.

“You are a very bright white, kind of when you see the sun shine through the trees and the light beams go everywhere.” Sally replied.

“You are a mixture of light and dark green but you shine just like Natalie and you are a mix of green and like a sandy color. I see your wolf inside you too.” Sally said looking at Ash.

“You can see Caspian?” Ash questioned. I heard Sally giggle,

“Yes, and he is posing.” She giggled making me laugh. It sounded about right.

“I wonder what the rogues will look like to her.” Natalie whispered.

“Probably horrendous, but if she can see their wolf or their person maybe that could help us too.” I replied.

“How so?” Ash asked.

“What if some of them don’t want to help the black witches and they’ve been taken? I know they are bad regardless but maybe we should consider helping them too.” I replied.

Natalie looked deep in thought and Ash just looked confused. It was something that had crossed my mind a few times but I never really put much thought into it.

“What about the rogue king? Has anyone seen him?” Natalie asked.

“No, and that is very weird. He typically keeps them in check but I know his son was set to take over then everything else happened.” Ash replied.

“What if they have him and that is why the rogues are working for them? They don’t want their king or future king to die.” I voiced.

“That is a great possibility and something we need to look into im afraid. As much as we don’t like them, if we can remove them from the equation then it’s just the black witches against us.” Natalie replied.

“You, my sweet girl, are our saving grace. We need to keep a tight lid on this but we need to tell the others. Let’s all get showered and dressed and we can meet in the meeting room.” I said looking around.

“Don’t tell them about your gift and keep your thoughts heavily sheltered. Think about the horses. Adira can read minds. I wanna know what you see when you look at them.” I winked and Sally smiled.

“Yes ma’am, I’ll go shower and wait for you.” Sally said before running out of the room.

“That is so incredible. I can’t believe Sienna did that.” Natalie whispered.

“I can’t either, makes me feel worse about the tree Bobbie and I damaged.” I muttered.

“What tree?” Ash asked.

“I’ll fill you in, it’s actually pretty awesome.” I replied.

“I’ll meet you both in the meeting room, chop chop.” Natalie said as she clapped her hands together.

I rushed in the bathroom and took a quick shower before stepping out and brushing my hair. I’ll let it air dry for now. I didn’t really care what it looked like. I was just too excited to tell everyone everything and then start practicing. After I finished dressing I found Ash sitting on the edge of the bed.

“Are you ready?” He asked.

“Absolutely, let’s go and grab Sally and then we can go.” I replied. When I opened the door I saw Sally standing there playing with her hair.

“I’m nervous.” She whispered.

“It’s okay. You don’t have to say much if you don’t want to. We will baby step into this.” I replied, patting her hand.

“There will be breakfast waiting for us. Everyone else is already there.” Ash said. As we walked down the hallway people stopped and smiled at us. They were very welcoming and it was nice to see that a lot of our people still stuck around or came back this morning. I swung the door open to see nothing but smiling faces.

“Whoa..” Sally whispered.

“Thoughts.” I reminded. She nodded and looked away from Adira and I smiled.

“We have so much to talk about and not a lot of time to do it but first, Michael hold Adiras hand please.” I requested. He looked confused for a moment but did as I asked.

“So something you don’t want me knowing ahead of time.” Adira smirked.

“Tell me what you see.” I said looking at Sally. She blinked a few times before looking around.

“Adira is a deep red with white sparkles.. That one, I’m sorry I don’t know your name.” Sally whispered.

“I’m Bobbie sweetheart, no need to apologize.” Bobbie smiled.

“You are a deep red too but with gold spots.. Kind of like lightning maybe? Kind of hard to tell.” Sally smiled.

“What about the men?” I asked.

“They are blended in with the ladies but I can see their wolves. They look serious.” Sally replied.

“What about Mariah?” I asked.

“She is a dark green with white flakes, more like swirls.” Sally answered as she tilted her head to the side.

“What is she talking about?” Michael asked.

“Sienna went to visit her in her dream.. She is no longer human. She is a dark witch but can see people auras. We all look specific. The black witches are taking humans and using them against us in a way. Sienna just evened the playing field. I replied.

“No shit? That’s pretty awesome.” Blake smiled.

“Your wolf is wagging his tail.” Sally giggled.

“Yeah, she can also see your wolves. Caspian was posing earlier.” I giggled.

“Sounds about right, reminds me of Ash standing in front of the mirror when he started getting muscles.” Wayne chuckled.

“You did the same! In spandex too by the way.” Ash fired back.

“So she can see the humans as well?” Bobbie asked.

“Yes, their color will depend on gender but she will be able to tell who is who and we can save them.” I replied.

“You are about to save a lot of lives.” Dahlia smiled.

“I hope so, I don’t want anyone going through what I did.” Sally whispered.

“It’ll be because of you that they don’t. As long as you tell us what you see we will try our very best to stop it from happening.” I smiled. I wanted to assure her that we would do the very best that we could no matter the circumstances. Innocent lives are at stake and that is something we all wanted to help with..

Natalie POV:

I thought that it would be best for us to stay away from Ezmeralda and Bobbie so that we didn’t get distracted. Honestly I really wanted to know how it was all going and I wanted to know what they could do but Adira and I needed to learn a little more about ourselves.

“I don’t even know where to start if I’m being honest here.” Adira said pulling me from my thoughts.

“Well, from what I read your siphon and mine are connected to us. We wield them as we see fit so I think if we just picture it in our head at first we can learn different things.” I replied.

“Okay so what can we start with that is small?” Adira asked. I didn’t have to be a mind reader to know that her mind was working in over drive.

“Why don’t we start with flowers?” I offered. That seemed like the easiest for now.

“Alright, let’s start there. Any flower?” Adira asked and I nodded my head. I knelt on the ground and placed my hands over the ground. Adira was watching me closely. In my head I imagined a beautiful yellow rose. Those were always my favorite I had always wanted my own rose garden with multiple different colors but mainly the yellow one.

I felt my hands tingle and I smiled. It was an easy thought honestly. When I opened my eyes there was a beautiful yellow rose fully bloomed.

“That’s cool but how am I supposed to do that? Yours comes from you, mine comes from my siphon.” Adira said. I could tell she was getting a little frustrated already.

“So maybe we try something different for you to start off with. Maybe you won’t grow things but what if you could wield them as weapons instead?” I questioned.

“You mean like I could use them to attack someone?” Adira asked.

“More like defend yourself if you were attacked or maybe even help someone in the distance if they were attacked.” I replied.

“Okay let’s try that, attack me.” Adira said, I had already practiced a little bit with mine but I wondered how she would be under pressure.

“You’ll need water.” I stated as I pulled my hand up creating a little ball of fire. Adira knew right away what I was getting at and got into her stance. She held her siphon just in front of her when I pulled my arm back and threw the fire ball right at her. The gem on her siphon turned blue and I noticed her eyes did. Before I knew what was happening a wall of water was created in front of her.

Not like a thin water fall, this was thick like a garden hedge and I watched as the fire ball sank nearly to the middle before it went out.

“That’s a start. Let’s keep going.” I smiled. I used both my hands to launch fire balls in every direction that I could. I needed her to concentrate on what I was doing so that she wouldn’t get hurt while we practice.

“I think that’s good.” Michael muttered. I knew it was making him nervous, he didn’t want her hurt but he knows that she won’t back down.

“You should probably practice too with them.” Adira winked.

“Well while you two have been play fire hockey I have been. I created some stuff if you want to come and look.” Michael offered. I knew my brother all too well and he was up to something. I looked at Adira to see the frustration on her face. She can’t read his thoughts so she has no idea what he is doing.

“It’s just over here, don’t worry.” Michael stated. I still didn’t trust it but Adira and I walked forward to see what he was up to. Just as we came to the top of the hill I could see small hedges in a circle and what looked like a little pond in the middle of it.

“How did you figure it out?” I asked.

“I read a little bit of the books you brought with you. I just did what it told me to do.” Michael shrugged.

“Well done. I didn’t think you would catch on so qu-” My words were cut off when a ball of water smacked me in the face. Michaels burst of laughter told me that he was the one that did it.

“It’s so on you brat!” I shrieked. Adira was laughing beside me and honestly, we needed a little fun after all we have been through. I knew I was going to have to deal with the other witches after all of this and I’m not sure I am ready to see what they have truly been up to this entire time..
