Chapter 25 Chapter 25

I was tensed whenever I thought about what was going to happen.

I needed answers and I needed those now.

And there is only one place I could find them.

The great ancient library.

That library has been there for over more than 1000 years. Maybe I can find something there.

I went into the library and screeched every shelf, every corner, every book.

"Useless, this is useless " I mumbled to myself in frustration.

There had to be something here.

I gave up.  I can't do this anymore. There are millions of books here but none has the information I'm looking for.

At the end of the library, I was leaning onto the shelf in the corner.

I was leaning peacefully, but there was this book that was out of place, and it was poking me in the back.

Annoyed I turned around I pushed it. And

A creaking voice was heard and on my right side the shelf moved on its own and I found

Stairs? ' how is this possible ' I was surprised as well as confused.

Never seen this before.

I started walking up the stairs and to wherever it led.

At the end of the stairs, there was a wooden door. It was Dusty and old like it has been there for more than 100 years.

I cautiously pushed the door open. It made a very old creeky sound.

There was a spider web everywhere 'someone needs to clean this place up'.

The room was the size of a regular small library. But with more dust and webs.

I somehow managed to breathe and walk inside. While removing the webs in my way. I didn't mind it much. cause this is how a place looks if it's been locked up for God knows how long.

I switched on the flashlight on my phone and tried to look around. And there were lots of shelves filled with books.

And there were portraits of many people. I'm guessing the kings and queens of old, maybe.

There were some dusty tables in the middle of the room. And at the end of the corner, there was a

Man? he was bent and looked like he was reading. As I neared to him, there was nothing but bones and ragged clothes.

It looked like he died reading. But what caught my eye was, what he was reading. I carefully lifted the book. And blew away the dust on it.

It was an old and delicate book. But the cover of the book said.

"Ask me, and you will know" it was weird.

When I opened the book it was empty. 'Huh, what the hell.'

"Did the author forgot to fill you?" I asked annoyed and irritated.

I threw the book open on the table and was about to turn when the words started to appear on it.

' what the...'

"The wizard filled me with enough information, which can answer you questions" it read.

Even the book has an attitude.

I wanted to test it "who I'm I ?" I asked curiously.

"Your Angel Adams. Daughter of Emily and Jake Adams. Hunter princess. Born to fulfill the old written prophecy " it said in bold letters.

Well, it does know something. Ok, I let out a heavy sigh. 'Let's find out'.

"How to kill an original demon?" I asked. I desperately needed the answer to this question.

"You can't " it simply said.

"What do you mean?" I yelled in frustration. Seriously? am I that useless?.

"You can't kill an original. No one can." It said.

I knew this book was Pathetic.

"But-"

" But what?" I asked

"A single person can't kill an original demon. A couple with the most powerful power can" it said.

I have never been so confused in my life.

"And who might they be?" I asked. I need to find them.

"It's for me to know, and you to find out".

'Wow, you are being so helpful' Not.

I turned around to leave but decided to take the book with me. It might get helpful.

I got out of the huge library and went to my room.

I kept it on my study table. There was a rose. I smiled at the rose. It was the same rose Caspian kept on my table when he wanted to confess something.

Then the prophecy flashed in my eyes. And my head filled with a very disturbing question.

I opened the book and asked.

"Is the prophecy still valid"

"Yes"

"Will he die?"

"Yes"

It answers brought tears in my eyes and that hurt so much.

"By whome," I asked. I won't let anything happen to him.

"You"

It was enough to break my heart into pieces. I was shattered. Broken and ripped into shreds.

"No" I yelled

"Yes".

I threw the book on the floor.

"I will never do that" I yelled tears streaming down my face.

"You will"

"Why?"

"Because that's the right thing to do"

"Can I undo it?". I asked with a little hope left in me.

"You can't "

"But-"

"But what?" I asked wiping away my tears with the back of my hands.

"True love will find a way".

"What do you mean?" I asked confused.

And before It can answer my question it was set up on fire.
