Chapter 131
Alexander didn't look at her, but his words were merciless, "Your face disgusts me."
"What gives you the right to say that to me?" Perhaps from being insulted too many times, Lila felt indignant and boldly shot back, "You're the disgusting one—an animal who only thinks with what's below the belt!"
After saying this, she waited for his counterattack like someone facing execution.
But Alexander just gave her a cold glance, "Why haven't you left yet?"
Lila bit her lip, turned around, and ran out of the study.
She was so angry.
She'd finally worked up the courage to satisfy him, and he said such awful things to hurt her.
He was the disgusting one!
After Lila left, Alexander was alone in the study.
He glanced at the "General Knowledge" book still sitting on the side of his desk, then suddenly swept it onto the floor with his hand. Only by looking at the clean desktop could he slightly contain the unpleasant feeling spreading inside him.
Still, Alexander's eyes remained cold and fierce.
After a few seconds, Alexander closed his eyes, trying hard to calm his anger. When he opened them again, they had returned to their usual cool composure.
He pulled out a cigarette and lit it.
Alexander put the cigarette between his lips and took a deep drag.
As the smoke swirled and dispersed around him, his gaze fell on the lighter in his palm, and he frowned slightly.
Giving him gifts to please him, yet resisting his touch.
What was Lila thinking?
After leaving the study, Lila returned to her own bedroom.
She was angry too.
Every time she made up her mind to give herself to him, he refused and resisted.
She had no idea what was wrong with him!
Lila lay on the bed irritably, grabbed her phone and messaged Elara, [I'm so angry, Alexander is seriously messed up in the head. Every time he opens his mouth it's about having a baby, then after talking about it he gets mad and insults me.]
Elara: [Don't be angry, don't be angry, hugs, what happened?]
Lila: [He wanted to sleep with me, but when I agreed he didn't want to anymore, and he said mean things to me.]
Elara: [How did you agree?]
Lila: [I kissed him, I made the first move.]
Elara: [Did you act really reluctant when you kissed him?]
Lila stared at this message, slightly stunned: [What do you mean?]
Elara: [Like maybe you looked like you were going all-in, or maybe you just closed your eyes, frowned, and had a dark expression, like someone who hates bitter medicine forcing themselves to drink it—that kind of unwilling look.]
Lila was speechless.
Did Elara install a camera in Alexander's study?
Elara: [Why aren't you saying anything? Did you or didn't you?]
Lila: [How did you know?]
Elara: [Sneaky laugh jpg.]
Elara: [Because I know you. Even though Mr. Sinclair is very handsome, very rich, and very charming, you're a bit of a romantic purist at heart. Plus you're innocent and straightforward, so when you're forcing yourself, it definitely shows all over your face. But who is Mr. Sinclair? Oceancrest City's top catch. I bet besides you, he's never met a woman who wasn't into him. He probably feels hurt. Maybe he's even more upset than you are inside.]
Lila: [Okay fine.]
Elara: [Next time, you should first give Mr. Sinclair a seductive, alluring look—the smoldering kind. Then show a shy smile, and then kiss him. Do it that way, and Mr. Sinclair definitely won't insult you.]
Lila: [I can't do that. I'm so annoyed and embarrassed right now. I don't know how I'm going to face him next time I see him.]
