Chapter 31 My Dad Is Busy!

Chapter 31 My Dad Is Busy!
Kelsey left Weylin's room with hasty steps. He couldn't bear to linger with an annoying person like Weylin. Unfortunately when he just got to the elevator, he ran into one of the people he didn't want to meet either.

"Miss Lieven," Darren greeted.

"Darren," Kelsey replied.

Kelsey had only met Darren a few times but she could easily tell if Darren was the person Weylin trusted the most.
From what Kelsey saw, Darren would always be around Weylin and never leave Weylin's side for even an hour.

The point was where there was Weylin, there would definitely be Darren. Then suddenly Kelsey was really curious, was Darren also around when she and Weylin did that at the hotel back then?

Kelsey swallowed her saliva nervously, afraid that the man who was standing in front of her would know what happened that night.

Darren said, "Would you like to get into the elevator, Miss Lieven?"

Kelsey snapped out of her reverie and quickly replied, "Oh, yes. I'm going downstairs."

Darren smiled faintly and he moved out then motioned for Kelsey to enter.

"Please, Miss."

Kelsey nodded, "Thank you."

Darren nodded, as Kelsey was about to press the button for the floor where the room was located, she heard Darren say softly, "Don't lose, Miss!"

Darren then flashed a smile before leaving.

Kelsey just gaped and just closed her mouth after seeing several people join in on the elevator.
In the elevator, she started again to wonder about Darren's words. However, finding it impossible to find that answer,
Kelsey chose to forget about it.

Meanwhile, in Weylin's own room, the man was able to neutralize his thoughts that had been chaotic earlier. He saw
Darren had just walked in and immediately shot him with questions, "Where are you from?"

"Aiden's school, Master," Darren replied casually.

Weylin turned his head in surprise, “What are you doing there for? As I recall I didn't order you to spy on that kid.”

Darren replied, "Yes, Sir. It is true. I just want to see that little Young Master arrive at his school safely."

Weylin was getting irritated, "He's not my son."

Darren looked up but made no response.

Weylin continued, “You hear me right? He's not my son so you don't have to worry about him anymore.”

"Uh, I see. Yes, Master," Darren replied casually.

Weylin furrowed his brows in confusion, “Is that all?”

"Yes, Master?"

Weylin was speechless, wouldn't it be great if Darren stopped nagging him about Aiden Lieven? In the end, Weylin simply waved his hand at Darren, asking Darren to leave.

Darren obeyed and this made Weylin even more confused but he didn't show it, not in front of Darren.

"You don't have a dad?" he asked.

"I have a daddy," Aiden answered confidently.

Jasper asked again, "Why didn't I see him pick you up?"

Aiden replied calmly, "He is busy making money. He can't go home."

Jasper frowned, "My papa is also busy but he comes home every day."

"My papa is busier," Aiden said, not wanting to be outdone.

Raven immediately approached, "Hey, boys. Why don't you join the others?"

"Aiden wants to clean this up, ma'am," Aiden answered quickly while showing the watercolor container they had just used for their painting class.

Jasper turned his head and immediately said to his teacher, "Jasper just wanted to accompany Aiden earlier."

"I'll let you accompany Aiden, Jasper now let's go to class first okay?" Raven said softly.

Jasper nodded and stepped his little feet into his classroom. Raven watched as Aiden returned to washing the watercolor container with water.

She said, "Was Jasper bothering you?"

"No, Miss. Jasper was just asking," Aiden answered honestly.

"Ask? About what?" he asked.

"About Aiden's dad," Aiden answered again.

Raven was surprised, "Then what did you say?"

Aiden explained, "Aiden answered my dad was busy working."

Raven smiled faintly, nodding. She was afraid that Aiden would feel uncomfortable.

However, when she saw little Aiden's face that looked normal, she started to wonder if maybe Aiden's mother had told him something so that the boy would no longer feel discouraged.

Raven breathed a sigh of relief.

"Do you need help cleaning that up?"

Raven asked distractingly.

"No, Miss. It's almost done."

The sun was still shining brightly and still burning the skin of everyone who walked. It also happened to Weylin who chose to get out of his car and hide behind a tree.

"Exactly what am I doing?" he muttered in surprise to himself.

He was watching from behind the tree, the atmosphere in the kindergarten which doubled as day care. He felt fortunate that it was located in an ordinary building at a crossroads so he could observe it to his heart's content.

If only the school building was in a multi-storey building, surely he couldn't be sneaking around like this. Weylin looked around for the child who had been dancing in his head ever since his mother left the room.

The kid's sweet and cute face didn't want to leave and this was also what made him decide to run away from his own office without telling his secretary or Darren.

Weylin chose to drive his own car and oddly enough he didn't mind his own actions at all.

Little Aiden there was playing with his friends. I don't know why I saw that child playing, Weilin smiled. His heart warmed. He didn't know what had happened to him.

"He's not your son, Weylin. You have to remember that," Weylin said trying to remind himself.

However, he couldn't help but look at the child. His smile was still wide when he saw Aiden playing gunplay with his friend. However, that didn't last long because he saw another boy suddenly push him so hard that Aiden fell to the ground.

"Aiden," Weylin screamed in surprise.

Weylin immediately came out of his hiding place and ran towards Aiden. He saw some of Aiden's friends surrounding Aiden intending to help him but the boy pushed back Aiden's small body.

The panicked Weylin immediately caught the petite body and hugged it tightly. Aiden was very surprised when he saw a stranger hug him but his eyes softened when he saw the face of the person who hugged him.

"Uncle," Aiden said.

"Are you all right? Which one hurts?" Weylin asked.

Aiden just kept quiet.

Weylin looked and felt Aiden's body to see if there were any wounds there.

"Where does it hurt, Aiden? He pushed you hard earlier. Does your back hurt? Tell me!" Weylin blurted out in panic.

Aiden was confused about how to answer this but was even more surprised when suddenly his teacher came and said sharply, "Who are you, Sir? Why are you hugging my student?"
