The Chosen Ones

After listening to the MC's announcement, Kian went up to the podium. He then said, "Let me explain why some members of Brave Team should join the mission."

In the same situation, the audiences became all ears, especially the supporters of Brave Team. Suddenly, their previous judgement about Kian changed. At first, they thought that the king was not wise enough because he let Bright Team win, instead of resolving the competition result as tie.

"The special mission is saving the earth from Aliens and disasters, so I will choose some members from both teams." He said with dignified voice tone.

Then, those additional information made the supporters of both teams relieved. They felt happy to know if the members of the teams were able to be useful and show the real potentials to human beings. Those reasons existed because they ever heard some bad rumours which mentioned that human beings did not really like nemozens, especially nemostellars. It was believed that human beings were envious to them since nemostellars and nemozens had powers and special natural born abilities.

"Then, there will be a day power test for the members. It is done to acknowledge their abilities," added Kian with optimistic smile stroked.

Once again, the acknowledged information was received by the audiences. It caused various reactions among them. A half of them even thought that the mission would not be easy since the aliens and other problems on the earth were quite complex. It did not have the exact solutions to stop the damage and natural disasters.

As the time passed, the new day came with beautiful pastel pink sky. The weather in nemonade planet was also fine. It was not really cold or hot, just like on the top of mountain. In the same situation, there was some soft haze in the streets which were designed like pipes.

Throught the long pipe-like streets, there were some floating transportations which passed by. It ran along the city that was beautified by ordinary buildings and skycrapers.

"BREEPP..BREEPP.." Some bells of the floating cars were ringing when the traffic light changed from red color to the green one.

In the kind of situation, the shuttle bus which was used for carrying the winning team passed the crowd. While they had not arrived, they enjoyed the journey through sort kinds of activities, such as listening to the music and playing games.

"Boom! You get taunted by me," said Xander to Storm while playing the mobile games in their cellphones.

Instead of replying his friend's words, Storm concentrated on the PVP style game which made him paired up in teams of five. In a few seconds, Storm was able to deliver his revenge by stealing Xander's blue blood.

"Gotcha! You lose some of the EXPs, sorry," said Storm. His character in the game had succeded in defeating Xander's.

On the other sides, Drake had some chit-chats with Cedro. The chit-chat was about the overview of earth's mission which had made him curious few days before. In the conversation, Mace also joined and listened to its detail a little bit.

"Are there any training before the chosen ones sent to the earth?" Drake asked as he grabbed the bottle of water from green plastic bag which he carried.

Cedro replied directly, "Just a day training. Then, all of the heroes are sent by a special rocket."

Mace commented as he opened a pack of snack, "I guess it will be a long journey. Plus, we all will be floating."

"Well, it is only when we are on the way, Mace." Drake told when he stared for a while.

Mace blinked a little bit and uttered, "So, when we arrived to the destination, we will step on the ground?"

"Of course. The gravitational force on earth is quite large. You all should get used to it." Cedro explained briefly.

In that moment, Storm heard the point of the conversation. After that, he said inside from the bottom of his heart, "I never imagine that a usual nemozen like me can land on the earth and save its citizens. Although my family said that I am considered as a nemostellar, I still feel like an ordinary nemozen who needs to learn more."

As every second passed, the shuttle bus then arrived. It was parked in the basement of the royal sport field. Then, Bright Team was guided to enter the field where many nemozens had waited about few minutes before.

At the moment, Bright Team was herded to the podium where the king's sons already stayed about a few minutes ago. After that, the ceremony for choosing the heroes started by the MC.

"All right, through this short ceremony, I would like all of you to be the witnesses of the chosen ones." The MC opened the speech and stared at the audiences gracefully.

After acknowledging the speech, the audiences just tried to be relaxed although they were so impatient to see which candidates would be chosen to be sent to the earth.

"Well, for those whose name was mentioned, please go forward." The MC said as he got ready with the list he had grabbed on his right hand.

Then, in a sudden, the atmosphere in the royal stadium changed, especially the tension. The MC's voice began to mention the name of some candidates wisely. "Storm Francis," uttered MC with the straight face.

Storm who could not believe his ears came forward and noticed that the rest of his friends were happy for him because he was the first to be chosen. Afterwards, the next two names came out from the MC's mouth.

"Xander Frederick and Drake Hale, please come forward,"

stated MC briefly.

In just a couple of seconds, the owner of those names obeyed and came forward. Hereafter, the time for the last name to mention finally came. With the trembling heart, the MC took a deep breath and said, "Ryker Fierce of Brave Team, please come forward."

The name mentioned was a surprise for all nemozens and the five nemostellars who already stood in front for about few minutes before. At first, they had already knew that they would be sent with some members from the Brave Team. In their minds, the one from Brave Team who had potential to be chosen was Silas. The reason of them believed that Silas was obviously chosen was because he owned the pretty good fighting strategy and skill.

"Here are the four nemostellars who will go with the king's sons for the mission on the earth." The MC finalized the result with bright and joyful smile.
