Epilogue
There was a slight knock on the door. Jeremy looked up from the table towards it.
"Come in," he said.
The door opened and Lawrence walked in. Jeremy perked up immediately.
"How did it go?" he asked.
"It went well." Lawrence leaned by the table. "The Alpha of White Wing has agreed to share an acre of their hunting ground with us. The Alpha of Blue Sky, however, is a different case entirely."
"Still not convinced?" Jeremy asked.
"I wouldn't say. From the way the meeting went, I think he's on the fence."
"Well, better than a refusal." Jeremy shrugged. "The last thing I need is some sort of violent conflict between packs."
"I don't see what you're so worried about," Lawrence snorted. "You're immortal, remember?"
"Invulnerable." Jeremy corrected. "Not immortal. I can still grow old and die, remember? Just not prone to the weaknesses of regular werewolves."
"Perks of being the chosen one." Lawrence rolled his eyes.
"Do I detect jealousy there?" Jeremy raised an eyebrow with a grin.
"You wish," Lawrence laughed.
There was another knock on the door again.
"Come in," Jeremy said.
The door opened and Tina stepped in.
"Alpha Griffin." She smiled. "Can I have my husband for a while?"
Jeremy looked at Lawrence and shrugged.
"He's all yours," he said. "I was done anyway."
With an arm around Tina, Lawrence and his wife stepped out of the office, closing the door gently.
Jeremy examined the ring on his finger. Six years had passed since that fateful war. Although it seemed like yesterday. At the age of twenty two, he was content with the little accomplishment he made. He had married Mandy and moved to the completed house built by Gabi. More houses were built near his as the rest of the pack had to move in with him. Lawrence was the Beta and married to Tina, which had now solidified the alliance between Redwing and Blackstone pack. Gerard and Dahlia moved in to the pack along with their daughter, Mariah who was named after Dahlia's deceased handmaiden. Jeremy hummed as his mind went to the little hybrid. The girl was playful, lively but showed a tremendous amount of potential. She was a perfect addition to the pack.
Jeremy yawned as he stepped into his house and shut the door. As soon as he stepped into the bedroom, his eyes nearly popped out of their sockets.
Mandy was in front of him, raising herself up to hang some clothes in her wardrobe. Her back was to him and she wore a pink short nightie which was transparent. She wore nothing underneath. Jeremy nearly drooled as the bottom of the nightie slipped upwards revealing her bare bubble butt. He felt the blood rush south to his groin. Six years had done wonders to his wife's body and given her curves in the right places.
Mandy shut the wardrobe and turned around.
"Oh. Hey, honey." She feigned surprise. "I didn't hear you come in."
"Liar," he admonished in a stern yet playful manner and she giggled.
"Did you enjoy the show then?" she cooed.
"Do you really need an answer to that?"
Mandy sat on the bed and crossed her legs, the nightie riding up to display her smooth thighs.
"That was just the preview." She winked at him. "Care for the full movie?"
She beckoned to him with her index finger.
An article of clothing left Jeremy's body as he took a step towards his wife. One thing was on his mind as he pinned her to the bed and stared into her seductive brown eyes. For the past six years there was no interruptions in their moments of steamy romance unlike before.
Tonight wasn't going to be any different.
The End.
