Chapter 127
Chapter 127
Screams came from the video, and Lucas turned it off. "Mr. Weston, should we now..."
Blake frowned, looking out the window. "Don't let Ophelia know about this yet. Take people and surround the mountain where Cameron is."
"Yes." Lucas immediately began to execute the order.
Meanwhile, Cameron, far away in his villa, had already learned of Blake's plan, his face twisted with rage.
"Mr. Schmidt, what should we do now?"
Cameron angrily threw his glass. "That Blake, damn him! He said he wanted to work with me before, and now he's completely forgotten about it. Is he playing me?"
"Get people here to cover us now. I don't believe this Blake really has the ability to capture me!"
At this moment, Blake had already arrived outside Cameron's villa with his men.
Lucas opened the car door, and Blake got out.
Cameron heard the noise and quickly looked out from behind the window.
"Mr. Schmidt, they're coming in force. What do we do now?"
Cameron gritted his teeth. "Give me the phone. I'll call Blake myself."
Just as he was about to dial, Blake's voice came from downstairs. "Cameron, I heard you wanted to chat with me?"
Cameron's face looked terrible.
Downstairs, Blake was holding a megaphone, shouting up at the building.
From Cameron's angle, he looked extremely arrogant, full of provocation.
"Mr. Schmidt." His subordinate's voice began to stutter.
Cameron glared at him viciously. "What are you doing!"
The subordinate pointed shakily at the window. Cameron whipped his head around to see a dark gun barrel aimed right at his head.
The phone in Cameron's hand dropped to the floor.
Making a crisp sound.
"Mr. Weston, how did you..."
Blake smiled happily. Standing on a lift platform, he kicked right at the window. "What do you think? I heard you took someone who belongs to my woman?"
Cameron cursed inwardly, not expecting that this was all because of a woman.
"I didn't! Mr. Weston, that woman seduced me!" Cameron hastily made excuses, forgetting that Blake's gun was pointed right at him.
A gunshot rang out.
Cameron screamed and fell to the ground.
His subordinate beside him was already trembling with fear. "This, this has nothing to do with me!"
Blake looked coldly at Cameron's subordinate. "Tell me, where's the antidote?"
Cameron's subordinate glanced at Cameron on the ground and swallowed. "I, I know. It's in the secret room. I'll take you there right now."
Cameron hadn't completely lost consciousness yet. As Blake was about to leave, he grabbed Blake's pant leg. "Wait, Mr. Weston, we were supposed to work together."
"Work together?" Blake tilted his head and sneered. "You think you're worthy of working with me? What a joke."
Blake lifted his foot and stomped down hard.
Cameron completely lost consciousness.
The subordinate led Blake and Lucas to the secret room.
Soon, Blake obtained the antidote.
Lucas also rescued Debra from the secret room. "This is the second time I've saved you."
Debra snorted coldly and turned her head away.
After arriving at the hospital, Blake immediately brought the antidote to the ward.
When Ophelia saw him, she immediately rushed over. "You're finally back."
Blake smiled and patted Ophelia's back.
He said to Zander, who approached, "This is the antidote. Have the doctor check it, and if there's no problem, you can give it to your father."
Zander's eyes sparkled with light. "Thank you."
Soon, the doctor gave the test results. "Mr. Zander Schmidt, this medicine is fine. We can give it to Mr. Finnegan Schmidt now."
"Good."
Zander came to the bedside. After giving Finnegan the medicine, all his vital signs improved significantly.
Ophelia realized this and finally showed a slight smile on her face.
She turned and went out, heading to Debra's ward.
When she saw Debra, tears filled her eyes. "I'm sorry, I didn't think things through before."
Debra pulled at the corner of her mouth. "It's fine. I did it willingly."
Lucas awkwardly scratched his head, not knowing whether to leave or stay.
Debra frowned when she saw him. "What are you still doing here?"
Lucas wanted to speak but didn't know what to say.
Ophelia noticed there seemed to be some special feelings between Lucas and Debra, so she simply left them the space.
"You two talk. I'll go check on my dad."
However, when she went over, Finnegan was talking with Blake.
Blake sat beside him very gently, completely without his usual arrogant manner.
After Ophelia walked in, both Finnegan and Blake looked over.
"You're here."
"Ophelia, come over."
Ophelia walked over, and Finnegan placed Ophelia's hand together with Blake's.
"No matter what happens in the future, you two must support each other well, understand?"
Ophelia and Blake looked at each other.
Ophelia nodded slightly. "I understand."
Only then did Finnegan show a slight smile.
"That's good. This way, even if I pass away now, I can rest easy. Where's Zander?"
Ophelia looked around. Strange, Zander was just here.
"He might have gone out?"
Ophelia frowned and went out to look around, but still didn't see Zander.
Just as she was about to return to the ward, she suddenly heard voices in the hallway.
The voice seemed to be Zander's.
She quietly walked over, and just as she was about to listen to what he was saying, Zander suddenly walked out from the hallway. "Ophelia, what are you doing here?"
"I just heard voices, so I came to check."
Zander smiled. "I heard Dad woke up. Let's go see him."
Ophelia and Zander returned to the ward together. Unexpectedly, Finnegan and Blake had already started discussing the wedding.
The wedding was set for tomorrow morning.
Blake had already arranged everything.
And Ophelia was the last person to know about it. She looked at Blake in surprise. "When did you start planning all this?"
Blake smiled. "A long, long time ago. Everything was already prepared."
Ophelia's eyes filled with tears as Debra pushed her into the fitting room.
When Ophelia walked out in her wedding dress, Blake was stunned.
He had imagined this scene countless times, but never expected that when his dream actually came true, it would be so beautiful.
Ophelia walked up to Blake and glanced at the wedding dress she was wearing. "What do you think?"
Blake gently lifted Ophelia's chin, his eyes full of tenderness and affection. "You're as beautiful as stars descending to earth. From the first moment I saw you, I knew you were the treasure I would protect for the rest of my life, honey."
Hearing these words, Ophelia's cheeks flushed as she leaned gently into Blake's embrace. "Of course. I'll always be this beautiful."
Blake lovingly pulled her tightly into his arms and kissed her forehead. "Let's start taking photos."
The photographer had been waiting for a long time. Finally reaching this moment, he quickly pressed the shutter, freezing this happy moment forever.
