She opened it and as she walked toward the bed, she read:
"Miss West:
I'm sure that when you read this letter, it's because you wanted to take a bath and probably didn't have any bikinis in your suitcase. You might be wondering why there are so many bikinis in that drawer. Well, you see: since we don't get along very well, I had to bring you here by force, and you probably didn't have time to pack properly.
You're not obligated to wear them, but I would love it if you did. I wouldn't be wrong to say they would look very good on you. Please don't be angry with me. I'm just trying to make your stay in my house as least distressing as possible for you and your son. And please, don't be angry with me for bringing you here by force.
I like to see you smile, and I hope that will be the case while you're with me.
Farewell,
Stefan Schmidt, your STUPID boss.
P.S. There's more clothing in the closet that I bought for you, but you don't have to wear it or give me the money.
I'm happy to do it.
Once again, your STUPID boss."
Katia let the sheet of paper fall onto her lap as she replayed his words in her mind. Had he planned to bring her and her son there?
Something inside her began to flutter, and a small smile spread across her tightly pressed lips. She put on her flip-flops and carefully descended the stairs.
Downstairs, she encountered Jennel, whom she greeted with a smile. Jennel was a woman around forty-five, with a smiling demeanor and a tanned complexion. She had a few wrinkles, but her skin had a beautiful bronzed color.
Her eyes radiated happiness to anyone who looked at them.
"Good morning, Miss Katia," the woman greeted her cheerfully. "Are you heading to the pool?"
"You can call me Katia. I told you that the first time we met," she said. "And yes, it's a beautiful morning."
"I believe so, but can you swim with the bandage?" Jennel asked.
"Yes, no problem," Katia replied, showing her a plastic bag. "I'll put it on when I go into the water. By the way, Jennel..."
"Yes, Miss Katia..." the American woman looked at her with crossed arms. "Katia. It will take some getting used to, calling you by your name."
"How long has Stefan been gone?" Katia asked.
"Well... in fact... he didn't sleep at home last night," the woman replied, her finger on her chin. "Maybe he stayed at his friend Hilbert's place to sleep. He usually does that when he has company parties."
"Oh... I see..." Katia turned and walked to the back of the house.
Once she arrived there, she placed her belongings on the ground and spread the towel on the sun lounger. Then she sat down and began applying sunscreen to her face.
After putting on sunglasses, she lay down on her back and unintentionally drifted off to sleep. She had trouble sleeping the previous night, and now she was feeling the consequences.
She had dreamed again of Stefan and of him caressing every millimeter of her body, and at that moment she was dreaming about it again.
Without realizing it, she let out little gasps as she lifted her chest and threw her head back slightly.
Her hands began to roam his body, slowly encouraging that heat that was growing due to the dream he was having.
One hand lingered above her bikini top, while the other slowly moved down her abdomen, past her flat tummy and across her belly until it touched the edge of her bikini bottoms.
As if by reflex, she woke up startled and breathing heavily. She took off her sunglasses, leaving them on top of her head, and then ran her hands over her face.
She had to start not thinking about that man. She was in love with Oscar and would wait for him until he returned from therapy.
She gave a snort with a hand to her forehead. She leaned her head against the back of the lounger and lowered the backrest all the way down, lying completely flat.
She lay back down again, knees bent.
"Enjoying the day?" She suddenly heard.
Katia, who was not expecting that, jumped forward and with her hands on her chest, looked at the person standing with a face of few friends.
Stefan was looking at her with a grin from ear to ear, which made her arch an eyebrow.
He sat down on the edge of the lounger and looked at her.
Again her breathing began to come in short gasps. Nervously and without knowing why, she swallowed.
She shook her head, she had to keep it cool.
"Yes, can't I?" She asked with disdain.
"I didn't say otherwise," he put a hand on her leg. "I'm glad you're back to your old ways."
"I beg your pardon?" She said without understanding.
"To looking at me with that serious face you had before you came to Munich," she stuck her tongue out at him, turned her head to one side and closed her eyes, arms crossed, pretending to be indignant. "By the way, Katia…"
"Yes?"
"A few minutes ago... were you... touching yourself?"
That comment made her look at him in shock and red with embarrassment.
"N-no. I-I... I was…" she ran her tongue between her lips, nervous, and unable to look him in the face. "Okay, yes! But I wasn't going to do anything but touch my body over my bikini," she looked away. "And I wasn't doing it because... Agh! Leave me alone!
She yelled at him, hearing him laugh.
The German stood up and moved closer to her.
Then he brought his lips closer to her ear and bit it very slowly. She closed her eyes, enjoying it. She bit her lower lip letting out a small gasp.
Then Stefan whispered to her:
"It's a pity. I would have loved to see you as much as I did that time in your room."
Her breathing became irregular again. Why wasn't she able to control herself?
"I want him," thought Katia, overwhelmed with that certainty.
