Chapter 156 Alice's Lie Exposed
Several voices chimed in agreement, and Scarlett recognized them as Alice's friends.
They were sitting by the window drinking coffee and chatting, each face showing naked contempt and mockery.
Directed at her, Scarlett.
Scarlett hadn't expected to run into trouble just going out for coffee.
She walked over, and the sound of her footsteps made them turn around. When they saw Scarlett's delicate, beautiful face, they all froze.
They'd been talking behind Scarlett's back and got caught, so naturally they looked a bit awkward.
"Why'd you stop?"
Scarlett walked over and placed both hands on the table. "Go on. Let me, the evil, terrible woman you're talking about, hear what other awful things I've done."
"We'll say what we want. If I were you, I'd find a hole to crawl into. But you've got the nerve to come over here."

Alice pretended to stop her friends, smiling as she spoke to Scarlett.

But now that Scarlett knew Alice wasn't Daniel's ex-girlfriend, she felt much calmer inside.
Scarlett glanced around. "The Alice asteroid? Not bad."
Her calm reaction was completely unexpected for Alice.
Alice's nails dug into her palms as she smiled. "Scarlett, don't worry. New asteroids aren't discovered all the time, but when there's another chance, Daniel will probably certify one for you too."
Scarlett thought about how, if Alice hadn't deliberately misled and deceived her back then, she and Daniel wouldn't have had so many misunderstandings.
What's hateful is that Alice was still spreading false information everywhere!
Scarlett's eyes flashed coldly at her, but before she could say anything, her phone suddenly rang.

"Is that so? Then why don't I just ask Daniel right now?"

But then, Daniel's deep, magnetic voice came through the phone.
"Ignorant people say ignorant things. With today's observation technology being so advanced, thousands of new asteroids are discovered every month. What's so special or romantic about that? I've never named an asteroid."
Instantly, everyone's eyes turned to Alice, filled with doubt and surprise.
Alice panicked a bit. The asteroid was something Daniel had given to the baby in her belly, and she'd named it herself.
Afraid that if the call continued, Daniel would reveal more truth, she quickly reached out to grab the phone.
But Scarlett seemed to predict Alice's move, picked up the phone, and said again.
"Really? I thought you couldn't forget your ex-girlfriend."
"What ex-girlfriend? I don't have an ex-girlfriend. Didn't I already explain this to you? If you've got nothing to do, hurry up and come back to keep me company. You hear me!"
Daniel's voice was commanding but somehow carried an inexplicable sense of affection, full of charm.

Juno also stood up, angry. "Alice, you even lied to me! That's too much!"
Juno angrily grabbed her bag and left. Alice's expression changed, and she hurriedly chased after her.
