Caspian felt his heart was about to collapse. He looked at Sophia in panic, afraid she would misunderstand him.

Benjamin reached out his long arm and pulled Sophia tightly into his embrace, his cold, sharp gaze falling on Caspian, claiming his territory.
"The line of people pursuing my wife could stretch from here to the airport. Caspian is just one of them. What you treasure means nothing to others. Besides, my wife has no obligation to treat Ernest. If you're ungrateful and want to slander my wife, then don't blame me for being rude."
He took Sophia's hand and strode out of the hospital room.
Looking at Benjamin's broad and upright back, Sophia couldn't help but feel a warmth rising in her chest.
She quickened her pace, held onto Benjamin's arm, and smiled slightly. "Are we really leaving like this?"
"Yes."
"They're all our elders in there. With the power of the Smith family and the Armstrong family, I'm afraid we can't afford to offend them."
Benjamin paused, gripping her thin, delicate shoulders with both hands. A bloodthirsty coldness flashed in his eyes.
"As long as Maddox is around, the Smith family won't let Juno call the shots. As for the Armstrong family... although the Armstrong Group's business empire can't be shaken in the short term, it's been on a downward trend in recent years."
Taking down the Armstrong Group might take some time, but it wasn't impossible.

"Elodie, your mother is my elder, so I shouldn't say certain things, but some boundaries can't be crossed. Please tell her that treating Ernest will have to wait. I have other things to do." Sophia said with a serious face, pulling Benjamin's hand to leave.

Seeing them about to leave, Elodie panicked and quickly ran ahead to block them.

She sighed quietly to herself. Many people said she had a bad temper and was spoiled and willful, but only she knew that compared to her, Juno was even worse.
Juno was used to being domineering and had never been looked down upon by anyone in her life.
Especially not by someone like Sophia, a young junior. She must feel uncomfortable, but to say she had malicious intent - that definitely wasn't the case.
In the hospital room, Maddox's face darkened, looking quite displeased.
"Juno, are you satisfied now? She's my only granddaughter, and you tried to humiliate her with a check?"
