Chapter 114 Daring to Bully You, Death Is Not a Pity
Benjamin had always been a thorn in Amelia's heart.
Every time she saw him, Amelia would have a mental breakdown.
Later, Amelia finally couldn't stand this torture anymore and came up with a plan.
"What plan?" Sophia asked nervously.
Her whole heart clenched tight, her eyes full of heartache.
Pain filled Alaric's eyes.
"Send Benjamin away. Send him somewhere no one could find, then pretend he was kidnapped."
Sophia couldn't help but gasp, her hands anxiously clasped together.
"After making the decision, she started planning."
Benjamin at that time was just a seven-year-old child.
Even though he resented Amelia, he still held onto some childish affection for her.
Amelia's sudden change in attitude caught Benjamin completely off guard.
He gradually let down his defenses and even started hoping.
Hoping he could be like a normal person and have his mother's love.
But he never dreamed... that this so-called warmth was just a scheme.
Amelia found a group of people online and had them pretend to kidnap Benjamin and take him away.
However, she didn't know that those people weren't ordinary people at all, but a criminal organization.
"That's not right."
Just as Alaric was lost in his sad emotions, a clear, pleasant voice suddenly interrupted him.
Alaric looked up in surprise, "What's not right?"
Sophia pressed her lips together with a serious expression and asked, "Alaric, my husband said that Amelia's life was very simple, she rarely even used her phone. How did she contact those people?"
Alaric sighed and glanced upstairs.
He explained in a low voice, "My mom rarely used electronic devices, but she had a higher education after all. How could she not know how to use them at all? To avoid being discovered, she deliberately stole Dr. Blackwell's phone."
Sophia had already guessed the rest of the story.
Dashiell had his own clinic and wouldn't live at the White Manor.
So naturally no one would suspect him.
Amelia could successfully clear herself.
Sophia lowered her eyes, lost in thought.
Although Alaric's explanation was flawless, she still felt something was off.
Suddenly, a flash of insight struck her.
Sophia quickly asked, "Big brother, when did Dr. Blackwell start treating her?"
"Seventeen years ago, why?"
"Nothing, just asking."
Sophia glanced toward Amelia's room upstairs, her eyes narrowing slightly.
Seventeen years ago...
This timing was too much of a coincidence.
Benjamin was also kidnapped seventeen years ago.
Sophia always trusted her instincts.
She felt this Dashiell was somewhat strange.
But there was no evidence yet.
After Dashiell left, Amelia's mental state visibly improved.
She stopped making a fuss and no longer looked at Sophia with mocking, disdainful eyes.
Everyone in the White Family breathed a sigh of relief.
However, Sophia found it even more strange.
She looked at Amelia, her eyes full of scrutiny.
Amelia seemed to sense the gaze on her and slowly turned around.
The expression on her face was unnaturally calm, as if there were no emotions at all.
She just glanced at Sophia indifferently and then looked away.
Now Sophia was certain.
Amelia wasn't normal.
But she didn't immediately tell the White Family about this, including Benjamin.
She had no concrete evidence, and the White Family trusted Dashiell very much.
If she brought this up without evidence, others would only think she was making things up.
Because in everyone's eyes, Amelia's emotions were indeed more stable than before.
In just over an hour, to be able to control someone's emotional changes within a certain range—was this really something a psychologist could do?
For some reason, Sophia felt a chill run down her spine.
Three days later, Dashiell came to the White Manor again.
This time, Dashiell stayed upstairs for a full two hours.
After Dashiell left, Amelia returned to her old self.
As she passed by Sophia, she snorted coldly.
Looking at Amelia's slender, willow-like waist and cold back, Sophia felt even more puzzled.
After returning to her room, Sophia immediately called Matthew.
Matthew answered quickly, his deep voice carrying a hint of sexy laziness.
"Hello? You finally remembered you have a senior brother? If you hadn't called me, I would've had to come to the White Manor to find you."
Sophia's cheeks flushed slightly, a trace of guilt flashing in her eyes.
She had promised Matthew she would call him once a week.
These past few days she had been focused on Amelia and forgot about it.
Sophia guiltily touched her nose and explained softly, "Matthew, I've been a bit busy these days."
"What could you be busy with? Busy researching antidotes for Benjamin?" Matthew snorted coldly, his tone carrying some mockery.
Sophia pressed her lips together and quickly changed the subject, "Matthew, can you help me investigate someone?"
The other end was silent for a second, then asked, "Investigate who? Did someone bully you?"
"No! Who would dare bully me? I could easily make them have nightmares for a month!"
Sophia snorted lightly, her tone full of pride.
"Look at your lack of ambition. If someone dares bully you, they deserve to die. A month of nightmares would be letting them off too easy, wouldn't it?"
Matthew's voice was icy, carrying an indescribable killing intent.
Sophia shook her head helplessly.
Her senior brother was as protective as ever.
"Matthew, the person I want you to investigate is named Dashiell Blackwell. He's a psychologist..."
Sophia briefly explained Dashiell's basic information.
Matthew pondered for a moment, then nodded in agreement, "Leave it to me. I'll contact you when I find something."
"Okay, thank you Matthew!"
Sophia thanked him with a smile.
After hanging up, Sophia's gloomy mood was swept away, and she went to Stellar University in good spirits.
After Sophia left the White Manor, Celestia sneered and walked toward Amelia's room.
Dashiell was still giving Amelia psychological treatment.
Looking at the closed door, Celestia hesitated for a moment.
Just as she was about to leave first, the door suddenly opened from inside.
Dashiell walked out and ran into Celestia, looking surprised.
"Ms. White, are you here to see Mrs. White?"
Celestia smiled and nodded, "Yes. Dr. Blackwell, how is Amelia doing?"
Dashiell sighed with a serious expression and slowly said, "Mrs. White's mental condition is worse than I imagined. She must have experienced quite a shock recently, which caused her condition to relapse."
Hearing this, anger flashed in Celestia's eyes, "It must be that little bitch Sophia! Amelia's condition must have gotten worse because of Sophia!"
"Mrs. Sophia White?" Dashiell asked in confusion.
