Chapter 118 Am I Still Fired?

Chapter 118 Am I Still Fired?
Audrey was silent, her expression unreadable. Elliot could tell she wanted to say something—but she was holding back.

Slowly, he raised his hand, stroking her cheek gently. "I don't want after the press conference, everyone—including the employees here—to judge you. I don't want you facing their whispers and cynical looks every day."

She stayed quiet, looking down slightly, fingers twisting in her lap.

He looked at her deeply before continuing, voice softer. "I just don't want to see you hurt, baby. I just want to protect you."

Her hands clenched. Emotions churned inside her—wanting to argue, wanting to accept.

"I don't care about them," she finally murmured. "I'm used to people judging me however they want."

He smiled sadly, stroking her hair with affection. "But I care."

She looked up, meeting his eyes—so sincere. For a moment, her resolve wavered. But her heart still felt heavy.

"So... after this, I just stay at home?" Her voice was quiet.

He shook his head. "I'm not locking you away. You can do whatever you want. I just want you out of this position."

She exhaled long, then asked softly, "Is this really because you want to protect me... or because you're afraid too?"

He didn't answer immediately. He looked deep into her eyes, searching for the right words.

"Yes. I'm afraid of something bad happening to you." His voice was barely a whisper, his gaze sad. It made her chest ache.

"If that happens..." He closed the distance between them, lips nearly touching hers. "...it would destroy me."

Sensing his intention—to convince her his way—she looked away, toward the window showing the darkening sky.

"So this is... final?" Her voice wavered as his lips began moving against her neck.

"Yes. I've prepared everything. I want you free from this pressure." He murmured between kisses.

Her hands clenched in her lap—fighting the rising heat and the sadness pressing on her chest.

"I never saw this position as a burden. I've worked here for years. And it wasn't just because of you." Her voice weakened. "I love my job."

He didn't stop kissing her. "I know, baby... but for now, let me do this for you."

She wanted to respond—but her breath caught as he cupped her face, bringing them closer. His lips touched her forehead softly, then her cheek, finally stopping at the corner of her mouth.

"I love you," he whispered.

She froze. Her heart raced. Slowly, her hand moved to his chest, feeling his heartbeat—just as fast as hers.

He waited. He knew she was still hesitant.

She bit her lip, then exhaled slowly. "Okay..."

He smiled, satisfied, before kissing her deeper.

Without breaking the kiss, he tightened his arm around her waist, shifting position—making sure she was fully on top of him. His hands roamed, exploring every inch of her with a tenderness that contrasted with the intensity in his eyes.

He demanded—but he also touched her in a way that revealed something deeper.

Fear of loss. Desire to protect. Love he'd been reluctant to put into words.

Their breaths tangled, merging in growing warmth.

She moaned softly, shifting slightly, realizing how completely he dominated her movements. His touch awakened something inside her.

Instead of resisting, her body adjusted—following his rhythm. Surrendering to whatever he would do.

"Elliot..." His name was muffled as he traced her jaw, kissing every inch of skin like he was branding himself into her memory. Her fingers tangled in his dark hair.

Their closeness wasn't just desire—it was a need to reassure each other. To possess each other. Especially after his decision had shaken her.

"I just want to protect you," he murmured between kisses.

His fingers traced her jaw, lifting her face so their eyes met again. Those dark eyes gleamed, demanding her full attention.

"I won't let anyone hurt you, baby." His voice was deeper now. Rougher.

She blinked, heart pounding. He looked so commanding—but beneath it all, there was a vulnerability only she could see.

Without thinking, her hand moved to his cheek, thumb brushing his tense jaw.

He groaned softly, eyes closing. His hand pressed her closer, fingers sliding under her already disheveled top.

Not satisfied with just touch, his lips traced her neck again, leaving hot trails.

She bit her lip, melting in his arms.

Then he stopped. She looked at him—confused, slightly protesting. Warmth was there, but also deep concern.

He always thought ahead. Protected her in his own way. Even though accepting she wouldn't work beside him anymore was hard, she knew—he wasn't pushing her away. He loved her too much.

His eyes softened, hazy. He kissed her chin briefly before joining their lips again.

Slower now. Deeper. Like he was saying everything through touch. Their bodies moved together, seeking each other's warmth.

A sigh escaped her as his fingers drifted lower, touching sensitive skin beneath her already hiked skirt.

She gasped as sensation spread through her. She tried to hold back the wave of emotion.

He pulled back from the kiss, watching her—breath hitching, eyelids heavy.

His fingers kept exploring, enjoying every response, every subtle tremor.

"Baby, look at me." His whisper was low but commanding. She obeyed.

His eyes were dark, gleaming with satisfaction.

She could only bite her lip, gripping his shoulders, trying to survive the storm building inside her.

A soft moan escaped—unstoppable. He smiled thinly, encouraged. His touch grew bolder, pressing deeper.

She jolted. Her body trembled violently, gripping him harder. "S-stop..."

"Really?" His eyes gleamed again before he whispered in her ear. "Do you really want me to stop, baby?"

She didn't answer—just moaned louder.

He didn't care. His touch deepened, creating waves of sensation that crashed over her without mercy.

Her breathing grew erratic. Eyes half-closed in a storm she couldn't control.

"Elliot..." Her voice was a soft whimper.

His eyes darkened, watching her surrender. Another thin smile curved his lips.

"Tell me, baby... do you like this?" He whispered in her ear—low, rough, seductive.

She could only respond with breathless moans, body tensing before finally drowning in the overwhelming current.

He watched intently. His fingers kept moving—deeper, unstoppable—until her body arched, eyes squeezing shut, breath catching in that final moment of release.

She collapsed in his arms, chest heaving. He just smiled satisfied, letting her enjoy the lingering sensations.

"That was fast, baby. Guess you were too tempted?" He teased, kissing her shoulder.

She pinched his arm, face still buried in his chest, trying to calm her racing heart.

He chuckled softly, lifting her face gently, looking deep into her still-hazy eyes.

"We're not done yet."

She swallowed, watching him with mixed emotions.

But when he kissed her again—long, demanding—she knew she had no reason to refuse.

He couldn't hold back anymore. His breath was heavy, full of restrained longing.

Finally, the last barrier fell. Their breaths merged—and so did they.

Her soft moans filled the room. He groaned low, eyes closing, feeling himself truly one with the woman he loved.

He waited a moment, letting them adjust, before moving slowly—riding every wave they created together.

She wrapped her arms around his broad shoulders, searching for something to hold onto in the storm.

"Elliot..." Her voice trembled—half moan.

He just leaned closer, kissing her softly—contrasting with the growing intensity.

"Look at me."

Again, she obeyed, though her eyelids felt heavy.

Their eyes locked. Drowning in each other.

And there—between every movement, every breath—they found each other.

This union wasn't just about overwhelming desire. It was unspoken acknowledgment. That they were each other's home. That nothing could separate them now.

They kept moving, letting feelings flow. Letting their bodies speak. Until finally—release came, hitting them both in a liberating wave.

She gripped his hair, body arching again, breath catching in overwhelming sensation.

He just watched her—intensely.

Beyond the incredible release, he marveled at how completely she gave herself to him. Without hesitation. Without regret.

Until finally, they fell together. Drowning in each other. Trying to catch their breath.

In his arms, he didn't loosen his hold. He stroked her back gently, letting her rest in the lingering warmth.

"Am I still fired?" Her voice was tired.

He chuckled softly, kissing her forehead with feeling. "I'll reconsider... if you ask more sweetly."

She smacked his shoulder. He chuckled again.

Suddenly—still connected—he stood easily from the chair. "Now let's move to the desk. We keep getting interrupted anyway."

Her eyes widened. "Elliot!"
