POV: Felix
"Who are you and what do you want with my wife?" I asked him the moment I got into the room. When Victoria refused to listen to me, I knew I had to find a way to save her without being too pushy or rude to Mom.
The first thing I did was to go up to the building control room and mess with the security cameras. Destroying the security cameras may seem like a bad idea, but it is something I must do because no one must find out what I'm about to do here today. They must never find out that I'm smarter than they think.
After deleting the camera footage from earlier, I took out the memory card so nothing would be recorded for the next few hours. I had to find out what Mom was up to and I knew only one person I could force to tell me the truth, the silly maid. So I blocked her in the kitchen and ordered her to tell me everything she knew about Mom's plans. She knows better than to tell an untruth me when I'm this pissed,
"Tell me everything, else I'm calling the immigration office and implicating you with terrorists. I'll have you deported in less than one hour if I don't any more useful information from you." I threatened angrily.
She cracked in a split second and spilled everything to me. She is from Iraq and she knows she is as good as dead if anyone ever suspects her to be a terrorist. I found out that Mom is planning to set Victoria up with a man and I knew immediately that it's got to be the man she escorted to the guest room a few hours ago.
She claimed not to know who he was, so I let her go and went straight to the guest room to see for myself. I sneaked into the guest room and slowly shut the door. He was not in the room when I got in. I could hear the shower running and I knew he was having a bath.
I checked his wallet and phone, looking for an ID. You won't believe that the dude is nothing but a man whore, a fucking Gigolo. I read his charts with mom and found out he is here to seduce Vee and screw her in my grandfather's house. To think that Mom would even come up with such an evil plan is so unbelievable.
He had a chat history with Charlotte and Nathan too. I'm sure that mom is not aware that her little trick is about to be bigger than she planned. Mom only wanted her to be disgraced in the family. She Knows how Gramps can be when he is furious.
If Grandpa discovers that Victoria is seeing another man, he would dismiss her as a wayward girl and have her sent away from his house and out of my life as well. That's all mom wanted, she just wants her out of my life, and that's it.
But Charlotte went ahead and paid him to make a video of him and Victoria having sex. I'm guessing that she must have told Nathan about their plans because he contacted the same guy and paid him to leak the sex video and pictures to the press.
He doesn't just want to destroy my relationship with her, he wants it to go public that I'm not man enough to handle my woman and that is why she paid a gigolo to do my job. If this goes public, my reputation will be destroyed and the company will be affected greatly. They may even try to use this opportunity to seize the company from me.
The guts of these people!
Selfish Bastards!
Fools!
All of them, including mom. I have the urge to go right up to Mom and tell her just what I think about her right now. But I've got a better plan. I didn't come back to get tricked or played again. I came back to establish my dominance and prove that I'm not just the boss in the company, I'm the boss in this family as well.
I went back to my room to pick up a few things I would be needing to hijack their plan and use it against them. But when I got to my door, I paused outside the door as I noticed that the doorknob had fingerprints on it.
I'd wiped it on purpose before I left and I applied a substance that would leave prints if someone tried to open my door when I was not in my room. I smiled as I pushed open the door and found a bottle of my favorite bourbon sitting prettily in a bucket of ice with a glass cup next to it.
"Smart ass," I whispered to myself as I thought of who the intruder could be. The intruder must have come to poison me or they came here looking for something else and decided to leave the wine as a diversion. I looked around, but nothing seemed to be missing.
I replayed the footage from my hidden camera and I found out that it was Ethan, my second cousin, who sneaked in here to get access to my laptop. I couldn't waste any more time, so I paused the footage and decided to continue with my plot to save Victoria. To be on the safer side, I called my account manager and asked him not to approve any transaction without hearing from me first.
I called Carl to send someone over to look into it and find out if the system had been hacked. I didn't waste time with my call, I resumed my plots immediately. To start with, I simply took some sleeping pills from my bottle and ran back to the guest room as fast as I could without arousing suspicions. I entered the room just as quietly as I'd left and I slipped the pills into his glass of wine that I saw on the bedside table.
I have no idea why he is taking so long in the bathroom, but I'm glad that he is. I took his phone and credit cards with me as I left the room. I connected his credit card to a hacking device I always keep around me for this kind of emergency.
You know what I mean…
I hacked his account and transferred all his funds to an untraceable account, making him broke instantly. I cloned his phone as well, I would love to see what their reaction will be when he doesn't follow up with their plans. And after this is over, I have a job for him too.
When I was done with my plans, I strode back to the guest room and I pushed the door open without a care in this world. I found him sprawled on the bed, just like I anticipated.
I moved him to the bathroom and I tied his hands and left him sitting on the bare floor while I got rid of anything incriminating and I stayed in the bathroom with him so no one would see me here and wonder how I found out the truth about their plans.
I had the bathroom water running so anyone that comes in here will think he is still bathing. It was almost one hour later that I heard the door open and shut. Then I heard moms voice after she knocked on the bathroom door,
"She is here, Stan, and she is all yours. Don't disappoint me, and don't make me regret hiring you." Mom let out sternly before walking out of the room. I smiled within me and the only thing that came to mind when she shut the door was,
"You will regret making this move on my woman!"
