Fun And Vibes
Tessa felt her breath catch in her chest the moment the question left Damien’s lips.
“Would you be my girlfriend?”
It echoed softly under the warm lights of the private restaurant, mixing with the gentle hum of the music and the faint scent of roses that clung to the air. For a split second, she forgot where she was. She forgot the fear, the chaos with Jordan, the endless complications wrapped around her life. All she could see was Damien’s soft eyes, eager, waiting for her answer like it was the only thing that mattered.
She thought about her life before now. The girl she used to be. The girl who loved blindly, who held on tightly to someone who threw her away without a backward glance. The girl who carried so much hope she couldn’t see the flaws staring her right in the face.
But she wasn’t that girl anymore.
She was a mother. She was in the Ritual. She knew danger, heartbreak, betrayal. She knew what it meant to lose and to rebuild. And sitting in front of her was a man who had done nothing but show up with kindness and intention. A man who made her feel seen.
Was it risky? Yes.
Was it fast? Maybe.
It was a yes to trying again. A yes to happiness. A yes to being wanted without pain attached to it. A yes to being with him and playing her games. It's not like they were getting married. Just fun and vibes
So she looked at him, her eyes shimmering under the lights, and whispered with a smile that felt like sunlight finally breaking through a storm.
“Yes, I will.”
The transformation on Damien’s face was immediate. Relief, joy, disbelief, and something deep, something warm and protective. His chair scraped softly against the floor as he stood, moved around the table, and pulled her into a hug so tight she felt every part of him trembling with emotion.
“Thank you,” he whispered into her hair, voice thick. “Thank you for giving me the chance to love you the way you deserve. I promise you I will love you with everything in me. I will protect you with my blood. I will treasure you like the rarest thing God ever put on this earth.”
Her throat tightened. She hadn’t expected to be this moved. She hadn’t expected happiness to feel so overwhelming.
The staff around them burst into soft claps, smiling as Damien lifted his head and announced proudly, “She said yes.”
Tessa blushed so hard she had to cover part of her face with her hands. The waiters congratulated her warmly, genuinely. For the first time in weeks, she felt weight leave her body.
And when she said, without thinking, “I wish this night would never end,” Damien’s eyes darkened with tenderness.
“You do?” he asked softly.
She nodded.
“So do I,” he said. “Do you want to come home with me?”
Maybe she should’ve thought longer. Maybe she should’ve weighed everything. But to hell with thinking with her brains for tonight.
“Yes,” she whispered.
He paid, intertwined their fingers, and walked her out with a quiet pride that made her heart flutter. The drive to his home was filled with soft conversation, little laughs, stolen glances. It felt like a dream she didn’t want to wake from.
But nothing prepared her for his house.
The moment they stepped in, her lips parted in awe. Every corner looked intentionally warm, elegant, filled with beautiful art and soft lighting. There were plants and flowers that made the atmosphere feel alive, cozy, and expensive without being cold.
“I thought you were a black and white person,” she whispered as she spun gently in the living room.
Damien laughed. “I like color. I like life. I like beauty.”
“It’s…perfect,” she said honestly. “It looks like a house in a Renaissance painting.”
“Do you want a tour?” he asked.
“I’d love that.”
And he took her around the house, room by room. The kitchen where his private chef greeted her politely, his steward who called her Ma'am and blushed deeply when she giggled, the hallway lined with paintings collected from places he had traveled. Every space felt thoughtful, lived-in, soft in ways she wouldn’t have expected.
By the time they reached the stairs, she could feel her heart beating differently. He wasn’t just a man with a nice face and a charming smile. He was someone who built a life that felt open, warm and safe.
He brought champagne and then led her into his bedroom.
The room stole her breath.
Glass walls translucent, glowing faintly from the city lights outside. A breathtaking view. Earthy tones mixed with soft greys, lush fabrics, elegant textures. A bed that looked like it belonged in a movie. Everything was so intimate. Personal.
“Damien…” she whispered.
“Too much?” he asked softly.
“No,” she breathed. “It’s perfect.”
He handed her a glass, their fingers brushing gently. The contact sent a wave through her body, soft and warm. They drank, standing so close their arms touched. He watched her with eyes that held softness and longing and careful restraint.
“You have no idea how long I have wanted this moment,” he said quietly.
Tessa’s breath trembled. “I… I think I do.”
He set down his glass. So did she. And then he stepped closer, lifting a hand to her cheek with such tenderness her knees nearly buckled.
“Tell me if you want me to stop,” he murmured.
“I won’t,” she whispered back.
He kissed her.
It was slow, reverent like he’d been waiting for permission for a long, long time. His lips were warm, gentle, yet full of emotion he didn’t try to hide. Tessa melted into him, her hands sliding up to his shoulders, her breath hitching softly as he deepened the kiss with a hunger he tried to control.
His touch traveled to her waist, her back, her arms every movement intentional, respectful, but filled with passion that threatened to spill over. He kissed her like she was precious. Like she mattered.
When he lifted her chin, brushing his thumb across her jaw, she didn’t even realize she was trembling slightly.
“You’re shaking,” he whispered.
“You’re the one doing that to me,” she whispered back.
His smile was soft and adoring. “Then let me hold you.”
And he did.
He lifted her gently, carrying her toward the softly lit bed as though she weighed nothing. The air around them felt different, heavy with emotion, filled with longing, warm with affection. He laid her down slowly, his hands tracing her arms, her shoulders, her waist with delicate care that made her exhale shakily.
He took his time with her, not rushing, not pushing, just exploring her with kisses that trailed along her neck, her collarbone, her shoulder.
The world outside disappeared.
And gently, he took off her dress and took her nipple in his mouth, causing a sharp moaning sound to escape her.
His fingers teased her inner thighs, she could already feel the coldness between her legs, without warning he slipped his finger inside of her already dripping kitty.
“Fuck Daddy! Don't stop."
He smiled at her.
