Chapter 200: Great Vengeance Avenged
Chapter 200: Great Vengeance Avenged
Jaxon emerged from the hall, his expression eerily calm, clearly not taking them seriously in the slightest.
The moment Jasper laid eyes on him, murderous intent flooded his gaze.
"You goddamn bastard! You killed so many of our people—today's the day you die!"
Without a hint of subtlety, he swept his hand forward. His subordinates immediately surged ahead.
Seeing this, Jaxon's lips curled in contempt.
"Nice show of force. But you think you can threaten me? You're not even close."
Jaxon remained utterly indifferent, dismissing them entirely.
"Still cocky when death's staring you in the face? I see you don't know what's good for you. I'll give you one chance—hand over all your assets, and I'll make it quick. Otherwise, I guarantee you won't even have a grave to rot in."
Hearing the cold threat, Jaxon let out a scoff, his expression dripping with disdain.
"You're not worth it."
"Fine. I gave you a chance. This is your choice, so don't blame me!"
A cold gleam flashed in Jasper's eyes. Done wasting time with Jaxon, he issued the command directly.
"Get him. Kill him!"
At his order, the Crest Security Syndicate members charged forward.
But before they could even make a move, Jaxon's cold laugh cut through the air.
"The Crest Security Syndicate's got some skill, I'll give you that. But do you really know what I'm capable of?"
Jaxon's half-smiling gaze locked onto Jasper, and that single look made Jasper's expression shift instantly.
"What are you getting at?"
A flicker of wariness crossed his eyes. Something felt wrong.
Jaxon gave a cold smile and slowly raised his hand.
"Come out!"
The moment his voice fell, shadowy figures materialized from the darkness.
Before the Crest Security Syndicate members could react, several of their comrades dropped dead in an instant.
Seeing this, their expressions changed drastically. Without a moment's hesitation, they scrambled to respond.
Their speed wasn't bad, but Jaxon had prepared thoroughly. He gave them no opening whatsoever.
The gap in strength was too vast. They didn't even get a chance to strike back. In mere seconds, more than half of them were slaughtered.
The survivors realized what was happening and panic flooded their faces.
But escape was impossible. Seeing this, Jasper exploded in fury, rage blazing in his eyes.
"Useless trash! Fight back!"
He roared, but not a single one of them listened.
Self-preservation had thrown them into chaos. Now they had only one thought: 'survive.'
Realizing these wastes were hopeless, Jasper's eyes filled with killing intent as he locked onto Jaxon.
"I really underestimated you. You actually dared to ambush the Crest Security Syndicate. But even so, you think you're walking out of here alive today?"
"I'll kill you first. Once you're gone, let's see how your people fight!"
A cold gleam flashed in his eyes. In a blur, he closed the distance to Jaxon and struck with a palm strike.
His speed was incredible, his blow aimed straight at Jaxon's vital point. He fully expected to take Jaxon down easily.
But to his shock, Jaxon didn't move an inch. Instead, a contemptuous smile tugged at his lips.
"You? Not even close."
Jaxon sidestepped and drove a fist into Jasper's abdomen.
Crack!
Jasper's ribs shattered instantly.
His body flew backward like a kite with its string cut, crashing heavily to the ground.
He coughed up a mouthful of blood, his face twisted in agony.
"You—!"
"I thought you'd be tougher than this. Turns out you're just another piece of trash."
At Jaxon's taunting, fury blazed in Jasper's eyes.
"Don't get cocky! You think you can kill me?!"
He clenched his fists. A strange, blood-red aura began emanating from his body. With a violent twist of his arm, his previously weakened presence surged back to full strength in an instant.
Seeing this, Jaxon frowned, genuine surprise crossing his face.
"Interesting. Guess I underestimated you after all."
"Cut the crap. You've pushed me this far—today, I'm killing you!"
He flashed forward again, his speed beyond what the naked eye could track.
He launched a strike directly at Jaxon's face, confident he could take him down easily.
But the moment he reached Jaxon, Jaxon shifted and effortlessly evaded the attack. Jasper didn't give up. He attacked again.
In an instant, he unleashed hundreds of strikes. Yet he still couldn't land a single hit on Jaxon.
And the moment he showed even the slightest hesitation, Jaxon grabbed him by the hair and slammed him into the ground.
Boom!
The ground cracked. Blood poured from Jasper's head.
His mind went blank. He struggled to rise, but Jaxon kicked him hard in the abdomen.
He flew over thirty feet and slammed into the ground, coughing up blood, completely unable to defend himself.
His bloodshot eyes glared viciously at Jaxon as he pulled out another vial.
But he didn't even get the chance to inject it. Jaxon stomped down, shattering his arm, then grabbed him by the throat and lifted him off the ground.
The Crest Security Syndicate members were still resisting when Jaxon's voice rang out.
"Surrender and you live. Otherwise, this is what happens!"
Hearing his voice, everyone turned. Jaxon held Jasper with one hand and applied pressure.
Snap.
Jasper's neck broke on the spot.
Seeing this, the Crest Security Syndicate members' expressions changed drastically. They froze in place.
The only reason they'd been resisting was because Jasper was their core leader. And they knew that if they won, they'd be rewarded with endless wealth.
But now, in this situation, they didn't dare make another move. Their brows furrowed, their faces turning grim.
Just as they stood there at a loss, Nightshade appeared with reinforcements.
Seeing this, terror flooded their faces. They immediately began begging for mercy.
"Don't kill us! We were just following orders!"
Jaxon's gaze remained cold. He tossed out a list.
"I won't deny it—some of you don't deserve to die. But some of you don't deserve to live."
Jaxon operated by a strict code. Those who deserved death would die. Those who were innocent, he wouldn't touch.
Seeing the list he threw out, those whose names were on it panicked. But any thought of escape came too late.
In mere seconds, they were eliminated.
Looking at the bodies on the ground, Jaxon let out a long breath. The weight in his chest finally lifted.
"Clean up the scene."
At Jaxon's command, his subordinates sprang into action.
Soon, the scene was spotless. Aside from those he'd deliberately spared, everyone else was dead.
Jaxon didn't even glance back. He turned and left.
---
An hour later, he arrived at a cemetery on the outskirts of the city.
Standing before the gravestones, Jaxon kowtowed several times, then spoke.
"Father. Mother. The people who hurt you back then—I didn't let a single one escape. They're all dead now. You can rest in peace."
