Chapter 182: Personally Behead and Kill

Chapter 182: Personally Behead and Kill

Michael's face turned ashen, a flicker of wariness crossing his eyes.

"So it's you. You've got some nerve. You put me in the hospital last time, and I haven't even come looking for you yet—but here you are on my turf, looking for trouble. You must have a death wish!"

His tone was icy, murder rising in his gaze.

"Jaxon, you put me in the ICU before. I won't let you off the hook today. Since you walked right into my trap, you're not leaving here alive!"

His expression turned vicious. Jaxon let out a scornful laugh.

"You couldn't beat me then. You sure as hell can't now. I'm not wasting my breath on you. Either you surrender right now, or I put you down myself."

Jaxon's tone was calm, but his eyes were already filled with killing intent.

Noticing Jaxon's expression, Michael's face tightened, panic flashing in his eyes.

"You're asking for it! You think just because you took down a few nobodies, you're hot stuff?"

"Let me tell you something—you're not walking out of here alive today!"

"I know this is your territory. I know you've got plenty of guys. But too bad for you—none of them are coming to help today."

At those words, Michael froze, unease creeping into his chest.

"What the hell are you talking about?"

"You didn't actually think I came here alone to deal with you, did you?"

"Daniel's prepared a little gift for you and your crew."

Michael's stomach dropped.

Just as he stood there stunned, the sound of engines suddenly roared behind him.

Several of his men came sprinting forward, panic written all over their faces.

"General Fairfax, we've got a problem! Daniel's guys just went berserk—they're tearing through our lines!"

Michael's expression turned grim, his eyes flooding with panic.

He'd sensed something was off from the start, but now he was certain. He never imagined Jaxon could move this fast.

Meeting Jaxon's gaze, he swallowed hard and forced out a nervous smile.

"Jaxon, we were wrong before. We never should've gone after you. Please don't hold it against us. Besides, it was Laurent who wanted you dead—it had nothing to do with us!"

"If you're willing, we can work together. We can help you take Laurent down!"

Michael knew all too well that even when he and Gabriel had teamed up, they hadn't been a match for Jaxon. Now? He didn't stand a chance.

With his current strength, there was no way he could gain the upper hand. Better to stall Jaxon than risk his life.

Hearing the proposal, Jaxon gave a cold laugh.

"Don't think I don't know what you're planning. If you think you can trick me, you're dreaming. I don't have time for this. It's time to send you to hell."

A cold gleam flashed in Jaxon's eyes as he lunged forward.

Seeing Jaxon closing in, Michael's eyes darted with panic, and he immediately stumbled backward.

He was quick—but not quick enough.

Jaxon grabbed his head and slammed it into the ground with brutal force.

BOOM!

The pavement shattered. Blood instantly soaked Michael's head.

Michael's face twisted in agony as he struggled to get up.

Before he could even move, Jaxon stomped down hard on his chest.

He coughed up blood, all fight draining from his body.

Looking up at Jaxon's grim-reaper gaze, his eyes filled with terror.

"No—please don't kill me!"

"You want money? You want my territory? Fine! Just let me live, and it's all yours!"

Cold sweat poured down his forehead, his body trembling uncontrollably.

"I'm not interested in any of that. Besides, you should've figured this out by now—once you're dead, it's all mine anyway."

Michael's face went deathly pale.

"No, I—"

Before he could beg again, Jaxon pressed down with his foot.

BOOM!

The ground beneath Michael's body exploded into a massive spider-web of cracks.

His eyes went wide, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth. Then he went still.

The rest of Michael's men stared in horror.

Without a word of protest, they all dropped to their knees.

"This has nothing to do with us! Please spare us!"

Their faces were tense, sweat beading on their foreheads. They didn't dare even breathe too loud.

Jaxon had no interest in them. Audrey would deal with them later.

He didn't even acknowledge them. Just as he turned to leave, a blur shot toward him.

Gabriel came charging in, covered in blood, his face twisted with urgency.

The moment he burst into the courtyard, the scene before him froze him in place.

He clenched his fists, eyes blazing with fury as his bloodshot gaze locked onto Jaxon.

"You bastard!"

Jaxon didn't care about his rage, but he was genuinely surprised to see Gabriel here.

After all, he'd sent Nightshade to deal with him.

He'd assumed Nightshade would kill Gabriel easily. He hadn't expected him to make it out alive.

"Jaxon, you killed him! Today, I'm making you pay with your life!"

His face contorted with savagery, murderous intent radiating from his eyes.

Faced with his cold threats, Jaxon let out a scornful laugh.

"I doubt you've got what it takes."

"Then let's find out!"

Gabriel's face twisted as he pulled out two vials of 'Aetheris Serum' and jammed them into his chest.

The power he'd lost fighting Nightshade instantly surged back—and then some.

Veins bulged across his body, his breath coming in ragged gasps.

"Today, you die!"

Seeing him like this, Jaxon frowned, his expression turning cold.

At first, he hadn't taken Gabriel seriously. But now, it seemed the guy had been holding back a trump card.

"Interesting. But too bad your body can't handle it. The side effects from two doses of Aetheris Serum will kill you. I don't even need to lift a finger—you're already dead."

"Before I die, I'm taking you with me!"

He flashed toward Jaxon, hell-bent on killing him.

But Jaxon knew better. This guy's life was on a countdown. He didn't need to bother fighting.

Gabriel launched hundreds of attacks—and didn't even graze Jaxon's sleeve.

Gabriel's face contorted with rage, his killing intent spiking.

"You bastard! All you do is dodge! If you've got any guts, face me head-on!"

He roared at the top of his lungs. Jaxon remained indifferent.

"You're not worth it."

Gabriel was already furious, and Jaxon's taunts only stoked the fire.

"I'm going to kill you!"

He tried to lunge again, but the moment he took a step, searing pain tore through his body.

A second later, he spat out a mouthful of blood. His legs buckled, and he collapsed to his knees.

"How… how is this happening?"

"I already told you—your body can't take it. Well, have a nice trip."

Jaxon turned and walked away. Gabriel tried to stop him, but he could barely move.

He reached out with the last of his strength, his eyelids growing heavier and heavier, before collapsing lifelessly to the ground.

The moment Jaxon stepped out, Nightshade came rushing onto the scene.

His face was tense as he hurried forward and dropped to one knee before Jaxon.

"I'm sorry, General Storm. I let you down."
