Lily's expression remained unchanged as she grabbed the middle-aged woman's wrist.
Her tone was icy, "What does that have to do with me?"
"What do you mean, it has nothing to do with you? You're obviously having an affair with that guy Theron, letting that jerk sneak into the girls' dorm. You two were messing around, and you dragged Wendy down with you," the middle-aged woman said.
"That's right, Wendy has always been well-behaved and obedient. How could she do such a thing? It's all over the internet that you and Theron were messing around in the dorm!"
Lily shook off Wendy's mother's hand, "But everyone in the esports club knows Wendy was chasing after Theron. They even got a hotel room together and stayed out all night. Your precious daughter has been lying to you."
She didn't expect Wendy wouldn't even tell her parents the truth!
"That's still your fault. You knew Wendy was hurt by that jerk, who took videos to blackmail her. When Wendy asked for your help, why didn't you help?"
Lily had just thought Wendy was lying.

Lily raised her voice, "Wendy slept with a jerk who took nude photos and videos of her, then asked me for help, and I didn't help. And then? Why don't you continue?"

Zoey came over and said, "Wendy's parents are too much. How can they blame you for this!"
"Some people, when they face difficulties and ask for your help, if you refuse, they immediately think you caused their difficulties because you won't help them solve it."
